Well, other sites are bigger and have more staff, easy answer. About an hour for sure is not instant but it's still ok when you know it's getting processed. Unless you are in a hurry for whatever reason it's still fine I would say.
Whale is not a "major" casino so you can't compare apples with oranges.

Is 45 minutes a long time? I know fast withdrawal is better than slow withdrawal, but do you see a big difference when the money arrives in 5 minutes or 45 minutes? I choose where to play if the casino is fun or has a good support, or good promotions. I prefer a good casino with 45 minutes than a normal or bad casino with 5 minutes withdrawals

Some times the odds will be bad and the extra house edge is used for faster withdrawals, then you have to choose what is your priority
