Then how you would really be making someone to show up some devastation of someones life because of gambling? Google? Videos? Yes this could work but if they wont really be able to see actual
things then they wont really be able to see but of course it would really be just that depending into a certain individual because  there are ones who arent that hardheaded and would really be

I would not call gambling as more expensive entertainment. This still individually. Gambler can win during that hours and end with profit. Gambler can bet 1 sat all the time. A single movie theatre visit can cost more if you take all the options. That "feel good" part with time can turn into "fed up with gambling". The fastest way is to not involve themselves into gambling at all. This is hard especially when the person is curious on how gambling works, and he's also seeing tons of winnings coming from other people. It's hard for them not to get involved into gambling because these might attract them to try it as well hoping that they will win.

Now that online gambling is gaining popularity and on a fast pace, it's hard for beginners not to get addicted into gambling. For me, I think the best way is to teach them the negative side of gambling. Teach them how gambling can affect one's life negatively. Teaching them the negative effects of gambling might be a reason for them not to try it at all. For addicted ones, this might be hard to do, but for beginners, this can be easily done I believe.

I don't think not getting involved at all is such an useful technique
I mean, observe other things like sex and drugs
you can tell teenagers to do what you think it right about it, but the best way is teaching them about the risks (and rewards) and giving them knowledge about it

though for some drugs I'd agree that the best way is staying away completely.
