While there are many other types of hobbies outside of gambling, if the hobby can be made better then it makes money, not with gambling only limited to the fun in betting the favorite team.

Indeed, there are many different motives and reasons for people to respond to gambling, but what is wrong in my opinion is that they make gambling a clear means of making money, whereas winning at gambling is difficult to win, and I think that if they make gambling a hobby they must be prepared for it. Losing money is bound to happen. because gambling will only drain our finances. When I was kid in 90s I remember our hobbies are collecting coins and stamps of different countries. Such hobbies can be considered as healthy ones compared to today's hobbies like playing pubg all day. I don't think the hobbies which I mentioned of 90's can have any sort of negative impact. But it's also true that in today's digital world, if you are getting addicted to things which you have mentioned then you are in real trouble.

Yes, gambling as a side hustle doesn't sit right as a thought. No gambler has ever made it quite big in this hustle. The house isn't employing their player, except for those who work part-time with the casino. However, while gambling it's crucial for a gambler to devise a plan. Players with no target or plan of what they're doing in a casino, face many troubles. And they'll have a hard time accepting gambling to be a hobby. Instead, they want quick funds, thereby thinking of gambling as a side hustle. Although, gambling is good as a hobby. You are right...! Online games are also highly addictive. First you start with hobby but eventually it turns into addiction. I myself was once for several years addicted to COC.

Before giving my own opinion I want to say about my favorite hobby my favorite hobby is doing gardening and also playing computers games when I have the free times. Now I would like to say that I do these two hobbies only when other important tasks of my daily life are over. Sometimes I only spend one or two days a week gardening and playing games twice a month. I would like to say now that gardening and computer gaming can be a hobby of a person just like gambling can be a hobby of a person, but of course if it is kept under control and goes out of control, neither hobby will have any positive impact on life but will push life towards darkness.

First of all I will like to define hobby in my own understanding. Something that one like to do always either for pleasure, leisure or entertainment.

You know that, teaching can be someone's hobby? And teaching brings income to the Person which taught. So what you are saying indicates that you have not really gotten the understanding of hobby.
