I strongly feel that making gambling a hobby is not too fine because it could easily become addiction when made a hobby. One of my ways of handling losses is to stay away for some times, assuming I made gambling a hobby, there is no way it would have be easy for me to stay away for sometimes. Today I played some rounds in gates of Olympus and I made some decent wins before I entered series of losses which made me take a break. This flexility will not be possible if gambling was a hobby

You are now clearly contradicting yourself. Because if you were not gambling as hobby, you would either not have stopped playing after successive losses, or you would not have placed bets at all. The addicted gambler will always seek to increase the amount of his bets in order to feel more adventurous and passionate because betting with little money is no longer able to satisfy his desires to play.

I don’t understand what exactly you disagree with me about. Do you see any fundamental differences from going to the gym and, for example, to a pub? Me not. Vast majority of people take gambling to mean other things other than fun or as just unprofitable activity which is why many gamblers only gamble because of how much they will make from gambling and having such mindset will always push someone to end at a position that can not be acceptable and that could result in negative outcome.

One of my ways of handling losses is to stay away for some times, assuming I made gambling a hobby, there is no way it would have be easy for me to stay away for sometimes. Today I played some rounds in gates of Olympus and I made some decent wins before I entered series of losses which made me take a break. This flexility will not be possible if gambling was a hobby

Any hobby is an addiction (otherwise why would a person voluntarily engage in it?) and can become a severe form of addiction that will negatively affect a person. For example, computer games and collecting in them. I work in this field and I see with my own eyes how people pay a lot of money to own virtual items. And to be honest, this even affects me - I’m starting to value some virtual things more than money. So you need to understand that any activity can be dangerous if it turns into a severe form of addiction, and gambling is not much different from other activities.

Gambling can be a hobby, but when you have an addiction to gambling, it can no longer be called a hobby; instead, it is a vice that is difficult to let go of. But even so, when it becomes a habit, we should try to return to normal gambling instead of worsening our condition by becoming addicted to gambling.

Although it is not easy to do and it will take a long time, let's try as much as we can to control ourselves because, in the end, if we neglect or just let it go,
the result will not be good in the end, that's for sure.

Indeed, because hobbies are rewarding and healthy practices we do to raise our mood, relief from stress and find satisfaction, while addictions are harmful practices which lead individuals to a state of illness, infirmity and disorder. After all, gambling is just a neutral activity without a harmful or benefical intrinsic nature. It's how you use it, as a gambler, that will determine if gambling is healthy or unhealthy for you. For some people it's a fitting hobby, without further prejudices, although for others it's a curse with very serious negative consequences!

That is why self-knowledge and self-control are so important, as individuals can be conscious of what is good for them, so they should absorb it, and what is harmful for them, so they should avoid it at all costs! Unfortunatelly, these are traits poorly developed by most people in our world, as they prefer being overwhelmed by the tendencies of the world which are imposed from external forces (propagandas, media, politicians, celebrities, leaders).
