Almost all I quite agree but in some moments I still want to see how Liverpool against PSG and Bayern against Leverkusen.
Some unexpected matches where clubs in one competition meet in the last 16 make the situation more interesting especially for Madrid and Atletico or Bayern and Leverkusen of course we know that they are also currently competing for positions in the domestic competition.

But this is what must be felt with the new format and I am quite happy with the last 16 which in the end have many interesting matches to look forward to.
2 dark horse clubs also where Aston Villa against Club Brugge seem to be quite important treats where when one of them qualifies it certainly makes new history for the club in the Champions League competition.
For other matches like Benfica against Barcelona I am quite sure of the results but hopefully this will not be an easy match.

Should be a very predictable turn this time.
some games could be more difficult to predict but the majority will agree on this.

The fixtures is not so bad but I don’t like the way they fixed teams from same league to play against each other. Real Madrid to play against Atletico Madrid and Bayern Munich to play against Bayer Leverkusen is not really a good idea. They are all strong team to make the competition exciting so facing one another now and eliminating each other early will not be so good. The matches will be a very strong one but if they should meet in the semis or Final it will be more interesting than meeting now.

Most of the games will be easy to predict except for the Madrid derby and Bayern Munich vs Bayer Leverkusen game.

I see Barcelona and Bayern Munich are in the same group, will we see this tragedy again?

People are already predicting Bayern Munich to face Barcelona but I don’t think Leverkusen will go easy on them and even if Bayern wins I don’t think Barcelona is a team they can with such goal margin this season.

In my opinion, Xabi Alonso will try to maintain his team consistency in every competition, without neglecting or prioritizing any single one. This match is just like how they met last time in the domestic league and no winner was gotten amongst the two of them. They are both a very big team and their chances of making it to the next round if they champions league is equally the same. They have good records on personal records in the past few years and also some not too impressive records on Bayern Munich on their meetings with Bayern Leverkusen of recent. The rivalry in the Bundesliga will also be felt here because they’ll all go into the game with their best squad and best firm to win a victory. These is a very hard to predict match indeed and any team that advanced from here will be the must preferred team for the Bundesliga also.

Too many interesting fixtures to watch out for in the round of 16 of the UEFA Champions League this season but the ones that caught my fancy are ;

  These three ties I think are the most difficult in the round of 16 because all the teams here are strong enough to reach the final of the competition.
  As a Real Madrid fan, I'll be very happy to see Real Madrid eliminate our city rivals Atletico Madrid but I know it'll not be an easy one for Carlo Ancelotti and his men. Diego Simeone's Atletico Madrid is the most stubborn team that you can face in the UCL if you ask me but I trust the managerial experience of Real Madrid coach to be enough to help the club win the tie

Let's hope they are able to get passed Leverkusen because even in their domestic league,  it hasn't been all smooth for them against Leverkusen especially now in this game that will be a determinant to their chances in the UCL, I believe they aren't going to leave a stone unturned except they get unlucky but then playing against Barcelona will be yet another tough one which invariably makes it tough games in a row. I just hope they scale this stage of the UCL.

A couple of fixtures look really obvious. Like we are going to have,,,

Arsenal in the quarter finals to play against Real Madrid. That’s the way I see it and it would be too bad should we have Real Madrid take out another EPL team. I hope Pep would be there to share some of his experience with his boy Arteta on this one, even though he couldn’t handle it.

PSG vs Liverpool is a game I expect to have some challenges but, wouldn’t want to conclude on that yet but, would sure make an interesting watch.

Barcelona vs Dortmund is another set for the quarter finals and the rest seems a little obvious as well too.

I expect this scenario to happen, Liverpool vs Real Madrid in the Semifinals of the left pot and Barcelona vs Bayern Munich in the right pot. Arsenal and Inter are also very worthy but the level of competition is still low compared to Real Madrid and Bayern Munich, but big surprises can happen to top teams like Liverpool and Barcelona because every team that qualifies for the last 16 has big ambitions to make a surprise, especially since the determination to qualify for the semifinals is determined in two legs (Home Away).

I always be curious to see Real Madrid performance in champion league because everytime they advances to the knockout stages Real Madrid is became an the team who always be difficult to beated and at the playoff stages Real Madrid have been proven their capacity that when some people says their journey will be over but in fact Real Madrid can eliminate Manchester City

Real Madrid's opponent in the Super Sixteen is Atletico Madrid. Atletico Madrid as an opponent is not easy at all so Real Madrid must plan hard and then take the field against Atletico Madrid. Usually the competition between two teams from the same league is often less but this season we will see two of the best teams in La Liga Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid facing each other. The next two teams in the same group are PSV and Arsenal.  

For now I think Arsenal will make the quarter finals from this group and Real Madrid will beat Atletico Madrid to make the quarter finals. And when these two teams go to the quarter finals, Arsenal and Real Madrid will again face each other in the quarter finals and there Real Madrid will secure the semi finals by defeating Arsenal. I have given this opinion only as per my personal prediction but the result may change.

Some of my prediction are happening. I'm happy to see Liverpool to face PSG, and Barcelona is facing Benfica. This pretty obvious Barcelona is gonna face PSG or Liverpool.

It also surprises me how Real Madrid and Bayern Munich face their main rivals in their domestic league. It was not something that i expected but good luck for them.

I also don't understand why Real Madrid and Bayern Munich face rivals from their league of course this is the same as seeing them compete in their own league not like in UCL even though it could be reversed like Bayern with Madrid and Atletico Madrid with Leverkusen then it will make the competition feel more curious I also feel that the four clubs seem equal which makes it difficult for most people to predict who will win even their meetings in their own league are already difficult to predict, but in UCL I think they will play harder than usual because everyone wants to continue to qualify for the next round.

Feyenoord again and again gets opponents from Serie A, previously Feyenoord managed to defeat and eliminate Milan. But, will Feyenoord be able to defeat another Serie A team in the next round? I'm doubting Feyenoord after they appoint RVP as a new coach.  They decide to appoint him as a new coach, but it puts more pessimistic to their chance to pass Intermilan. I'd rather see the old coach to stay a bit longer, that might be more useful instead of sign a new coach. I'm doubting Feyenoord's chance to get into the next round after RVP took the position as a head coach.

In this game, i'm in favor Intermilan to win the game considering they much more prepared, have better quality, and had good bounding between players and coach.

As for Feyenoord, their journey in UCL is likely stopping here. That is because they have to start their bounding with RVP from zero.

The results of the draw were indeed very interesting, of course they were indeed unique and in the spotlight when Real Madrid met Atletico Madrid in the last 16 and of course it was also unique like Leverkusen vs Bayern. Both are indeed a big team and are the best teams of the League Bundes but they must be met to show who represents the League Bundes to the next round, of course Komapany and also Xabi Alonso have the same ambition in the Champions League this season because they have the four -quarter to fight Until the last drop of blood in the Champions League and win the championship.

Italian football really fell off so hard at the European stage this time round, especially the UCL. I won't be surprised if Feyenoord pull off a surprise against Inter Milan which is the only Italian club left in the competition. It's amazing that even Netherlands still has two representatives in the knockouts

Now the only hope is Inter Milan but that is still quite difficult because Feyenoord could provide quite fierce resistance. Inter Milan is expected to be the only Italian representative who is able to survive until entering the semifinals because currently there is no other team that can be relied on after all failed to advance to the next round and surprisingly AC Milan, Juventus and Atalanta had to be eliminated first because they were unable to show their strength.

The representative from the Netherlands is indeed a bit surprising because this season they can maximize the new format of the Champions League but I am not so sure that both of them can advance further after the next match and it might be interesting for this season's Champions League compared to the previous season.
