The most surprising part of the 1st leg matches was to see Arsenal scoring 7 goals against PSV. They did it even in an away match man.    It was really unexpected considering Arsenal weren't doing great in the Premier League recently.

Arsenal did what other teams couldn't did to their opponents in that first leg games,  they scored 7 goals in a single game to secured victory from PSV, but other teams struggle to secure 1 or 2 goals to secure victory from their opponents for you to know how prepared Arsenal really prepared to win this UEFA champion league trophy. For the Arsenal second leg, it will be easy for Arsenal to win, but the goals will not going to be in the first leg because PSV will not allow all those chances to come to Arsenal but Arsenal will still going to win the game.

Frankly, nobody will specifically pay attention to that 7-1 result against PSV if they play against Arsenal. There is no reason for any team to be particularly fearful in light of this result as this is an outlier. This is no intent to diminish the result, but first of all it is PSV Eindhoven and second of all I don't think anybody was surprised and anybody dropped their jaws open. It is well known what Arsenal is able to do and the results from the Premier League in some of their best games are as telling as their best games in the Champions League. What do you expect from a team that beats Man City 5-1 when they play against PSV?

Another robbery that occurred was in the Liverpool PSG game. For starters, Konate should have been red carded for his push on Barcola after he stopped his fellow French man from scoring but the ref waved it off after checking VAR. It's now very obvious how much the VAR has ruined good games. Take a look at the Kvaratskhelia goal that was scored, how can they explain that it was an offside situation when the guy was clearly on side.
 To tell you the monstrosity of the situation, Jamie Carragher, Liverpool legend even admitted that PSG were robbed in that game. So far, Liverpool have been operating on luck and not good performance because yesterday PSG showed everyone how poor their defense and midfield is so porous.

I think Jamie Carragher enjoys being a controversial pundit. I have read so many comments regarding the incident between Barcola and Konate in their Champions League meeting in mid week. At first I thought this wasn’t a penalty and it was a 50:50 shoulder challenge but looking at the replay over and over it is clear that there was clearly enough contact to bring him down though by the shoulders as I clearly saw the first time but from behind which makes it a foul so it should have been given on normal circumstance. Bayern Munich hold a huge advantage over Leverkusen with a three goal victory in the first leg, I doubt Leverkusen can come back from this in the second leg.

Of course, UCL is always Real Madrid's target every season. When it comes to UCL matches, Madrid don't joke with them because the want to continue winning it, and keep on making history every season. Atletico will try their best like they did in the first leg  but I don't see them qualifying to the next stage because Madrid wouldn't let that happen.

This favourite words only work when Real Madrid team is stable. Take for instance, last two season they were struggling to maintain the first place in the Laliga and they were finding it hard in the Champions League before they were remove by Manchester City but last season, what happen, their place in the Laliga was too spacious that no team could follow them, they won the domestic and champions league but this season, I can see them repeating the same loss of the 2 seasons back.

They can't even maintaina good place in the domestic league where Barcelona is is still playing hot, and not only that, we still have some big boys in town contesting for the league too. If Real Madrid survive their own side of teams, I'm not sure they are going to survive the other side team that will clear their own path unless Bayern, Liverpool, Barcelona or Dortmund are remove by these other teams we don't really rate but it's hard to be honest.

Among all the winners in this final stage game yesterday, I guess Arsenal dominated very well to beat their opponent 1:7 to achieved points that will make the second leg easy for them to win and move to the next Level in this UEFA champion league tournament. Liverpool played with their best players, but they struggle to beat PSG 0:1, and it will make their second leg difficult because PSG will apply more effort to make sure they come back with force to equalized the goal and still add goals to beat Liverpool in the second leg.

People thought that Bayern Munich will not take victory from Leverkusen yesterday, it was a surprised game seen Bayern Munich secured 3 goals without allowed Leverkusen to score a single goal from the first leg, and it will be easy for them to win their second leg if they put more effort.

Arsenal were very impressive in this game, this is certainly one of the best performance of the season for Arsenal so far. The fact that they were able to get 7 goals without a striker and against a top club in the champions league is just amazing. I must admit that I also didn’t expect such a win for Bayern Munich, even if they were to win it was expected to be by a close margin but they totally dominated the game and got a comfortable win against Leverkusen.

I don't know where you saw Atletico's advantage, in my opinion it was in some parts of the game in the first half, but overall Real deservedly won. The odds for the return game are almost equal:

2.54 - 3.60 - 2.68

And even this equality is most likely due to the fact that Real only needs a draw to advance. Atletico often take points from Real and can indeed win, but I wouldn't take it for granted.

Are these the odds for next Thursday? Haven't seen the odds market for the champions league yet.

If yes - then it could be a draw in this match but it could also be a Real Madrid win as they are in a tough situation away from home, if the aim is to qualify then Real Madrid always have a good win.

Many have criticized Liverpool performance in the first leg, and I agree that they were lucky to win. Alisson Becker was impressive, he denied many PSG chances, in my opinion it was his best performance of the season. Liverpool 2 shots on goal, 1 on target directly became a goal. Barcelona's revival this season cannot be separated from the role of their coach, Hansi Flick. Real Madrid may lose to Atletico Madrid on wednesday, if you watch their last match at Santiago Bernabeu Atletico Madrid was far the better team but Real Madrid stole the win but this time  Atletico Madrid will steal the win at Metropolitano on wednesday.

Real Madrid stole the show in the first leg, they deserved the win because they was the better team to grab all three winning point. Real Madrid will not experienced in the second leg of UCL when they face Atletico Madrid ground to face them. Los Blancos are more favorite to obtain a winning following a streak winning record set against their oppositions in the UEFA Champions League. If it happens to be other League like Copa del Rey or La Liga, my thoughts will be place directly to Atletico Madrid assembling the victory but that's absolutely not happening because it's the UEFA Champions League. Carlo Ancelotti will pin all strategy to encourage a win.

Of course, UCL is always Real Madrid's target every season. When it comes to UCL matches, Madrid don't joke with them because the want to continue winning it, and keep on making history every season. Atletico will try their best like they did in the first leg  but I don't see them qualifying to the next stage because Madrid wouldn't let that happen.

We can't know that, the match will be hosted by Atletico Madrid. Atletico Madrid, who have the advantage of the audience, have the potential to beat Real Madrid. They played very difficult matches against Barcelona. They pushed Barcelona very hard. I think if they are lucky and they are on a good day, they can eliminate Real Madrid. Barcelona got the result because of the contribution of the coach and several experienced players. On the one hand, the chemistry of each player is very strong and the closeness of the players with the coach is one of the keys to Barcelona's success. Yes, these are them. Any outcome is possible, Atletico is a strong team. I'm glad that today they lost to Getafe playing with their main team (although it killed my multi bet lol) and the game was painful for them. Real are ahead both in terms of the score after the first game and in terms of confidence, but it remains to finish the job. Right now it looks like Atletico will have a hard time turning the tide of the confrontation.

Except we see an over turn of events in the second leg and this was actually my prediction right from the start, the only exception is the Liverpool and PSG game which I had gone for PSG qualification should they win the first leg, and right now it seems they are not looking convincing after the first leg loss. Should they Come out to play same way again at Anfield and get an early goal I think they can turn it around.

For now should this Fixtures stick then my predictions will be

A real Madrid win against Arsenal. No matter what Arsenal have done in the champions league this season they will have to do more to knockout the competition favourite.

Liverpool vs Aston Villa is going to be game that will have twist because this is a premier league all game and it’s usually tricky playing your country club in the champions league, but my prediction is a Liverpool qualification.

As for Barcelona, I will say a straight win for them against a Dortmund team that is very inconsistent throughout the season is almost certain.

Bayern vs inter Milan will be the most evenly balanced game for me, any club can win the game easily but my prediction will be for Inter Milan
