I was expecting Nigeria team to win the Match but opposite was the case. Really Super Eagles didn't try for this game. Mostly in the first half. Rwanda played well in the first half and they defended their second half very well so Super Eagles could not scored them. Rwanda would have been a work over for Nigerian Super Eagles today but the Amavubi were gallant to be defeated. And the one of the shot Victor Osimhen gave was too direct to the goalkeeper at least he would have bend the ball. And I think there next Match should be next month. The amavubi really dominated the first half and became the strongest defendant of the second half. Nigerians are not happy about this Match but it still better than Finidi's tenure lolz 😂. And I believed they can work hard to do well in their next Match.

It is not a good result. Looking at the game on paper, Super Eagles should be favorites to win. Rwanda were very poor in front of goal. A team that is looking to redeem themselves from the performance in the World Cup qualifiers. The Super Eagles had the biggest of chances in the game. I feel robbed because our goal was chopped off for a foul - which I think it was a bad call from the referee.

I watched Nigeria play today and I can say they were not any far above average, the referee to me looks like he isn't skilled enough in officiating the game, he has an influence on the results today actually but in the totality of the game, both sides had weak performance where by more was expected from Nigeria after winning their last game nicely.

Our super eagle legend, Victor Moses has just returned back to the game after signing into Luton Town as a free agent. The 33 year old currently plays at FC Spartak at Moscow. It's good to know that the one time Chelsea, Liverpool And inter Milan legend is back once more to England after going silent for some years back.

I really miss the days of Victor Moses in the English Premier League, the very entertaining games when he played for Chelsea before leaving the premier league. It will be a great moment again to finally witness his return to England. I am anticipating his return and his first game being back. This has been for Supper Eagles for years. They are very good in disappointing fans. At all time, it is the time that you need or want Super Eagles to win a Match that they would disappoint you. But they are better than the World Cup Qualifiers Matches which they loss all. And if the Super Eagles is playing like this then they can't play with Morocco and some other strong countries. Super Eagles would have won this game to reclaim their hero lost in the World Cup Qualifiers.

As it is, Libya is beating Benin Republic 0-1. Egypt won Botswana 0-4 and Cape Verde won Mauritania with 1-0. Algeria won their Match with 3-0 with Liberia. And Nigeria could not win theirs.

Yes, it was actually better than a defeat, because judging from the overall social media hype for the past few days, it's obvious to have made our opponents prepared intensively and deployed their best players in today's game, but however, I'm happy Nigeria is taking the lead on the current Group D stage of the African Cup of Nation as shown below. After the performance from the game against Benin, Nigerians expected at least one goal in this game. The super eagles were wasteful until the end. As a Nigerian who has lost a bet to the Nigerian team you would claim never to want to bet on Nigeria again to win but from any other game Nigerian plays and does well, you renew your hope and then because of patriotism bet and believe them to win. They end up being disappointing. There was a topic recently in the gambling board by Stompix about the team or player that has disappointed us the most when we bet on them, my answer to that post was the super eagles of Nigeria because it was not a lie.

Mozambique - Guinea Bissau

Tomorrow my country Mozambique will play against Guinea Bissau, this is a very important game for my country, we need to win this game because Mali will undoubtedly beat Eswatini and would have 4 points and Guinea Bissau, which already has 3 points, cannot beat us, because if they beat us then they would have 6 points. So we could start to lose hope of getting a good position in this group.

I've been waiting for a non Nigerian person to talk about thier nations progress in this qualifier and this is the first time I'm seeing one. Playing against guinea bissau after they've already won there first leg against Switzerland are are currently toping the group wouldn't be an easy knot to crack for your country. As long as that group is concerned, eyes are on Mali and guinea bissau to emerge out of the group but after the outcome of tomorrow's outing, your fate will be determined.

Our Ghanaian brothers are currently playing against Niger after they lost thier first game against Mali that resulted in a backlash from thier home supporters. So far it's still nill, nill in the first half. The outcome of this game will be what determines if they will make it to the AFCON. Recall that during the last AFCON, they hard a very tough outing and anything that involves another bad result will certainly be a devastating result for the black stars.

The game has already ended and my country Mozambique won. With this victory my country is now leading the group and in the next game we will also need to win to be able to remain at the top of the group. Ideally, Guinea Bissau and Mali would draw in the next game because that way it would be enough for my country to win to have 7 points while Guinea Bissau and Mali would have 4 and 5 points respectively. In the past, my country's national team was a disaster, and every time they played, they lost, so people from my country stopped watching my country's national team's games. Even the sports channels didn't pay any attention when my country's national team played, so it's hard for people who aren't from my country to understand the changes that my country's national team has undergone. Let's accept the fact that the Nigerian team was dull in their performance. They could not get ahead of the game and score any goal in the game. I wont say it was a home advantage for Rwanda because Nigeria had 9 shots on target which they had just 2. I can't believe the 9 shots on target none was fruitful. I always say that it is not all about the possessions and who had the opportunity most but who was able to score and win the game. Nigeria might have dominated the game throughout but Rwanda had one good opportunity that could make them take the lead yet they failed to grab it.

At this point I can’t predict the strength of Rwanda seeing a draw but comparing this match as that of Benin republic is totally different because it’s obvious Benin Republic are not so strong with what they played against super eagles.

 Most time it doesn’t necessary mean the best in football since everyone can make mistake and not perform brilliant it happens at times with our football legend, I also don’t blame Osimhen and lookman because at a time the match got tiring even if they had the chance to score but could not. They still have room for better improvement, this is not the end and the super eagles have a higher chance maintaining a good performance.

There is nothing like a beast team in anywhere, all the team you see struggle to have a better place, not like any team is there to.be humiliated, they are representing their countries. Nigeria want to win and so where Rwanda, so I don't understand the part where you guys will say Nigeria play averagely or do well when you don't expect, it's part of the game even when you lose.

As for the referee, he looks pale and sick otherwise I'm not sure if anyome in his right sense will rulled out that goal. If it were in big leagues like Premier League or other European leagues, he isn't going to be sack and throw out of the field, he will be used as a scapegoat to teach other referees on how to handle important  situations like this one particularly. I don't blame him, if Afcon organizers has provided VAR for the matches, it would have been an easy call to make.

It is nice to see Nigeria winning by 3 goals to nothing for Benin. However let's admit that Nigeria players are way better than Benin.

No one should even compare Super Eagles players with Benin players. We all know that Super Eagles have a better squad compared to Benin, just that the Super Eagles lack a talented coach who will be able to utilize the players that they are having, but I think their current coach is just better, so we should just expect improvement in their performance in the coming matches, and I don’t think any country should find it difficult for Super Eagles to win in their group, all the countries in their group are weak countries, so am expecting win from them in all their matches

The current coach has quite an experience level coaching for the nation from the youth level, he is experienced enough to be able to handle the senior team. I hope he will be given the opportunity to prove his worth and see if he could be the missing piece to our national team’s success. The foreigners who have come and left failed to get the required results and silverware for the nation. Let’s see how well the current manager can perform, he has already started well by defeating Benin by 3 goals to nil.

I was not able to watch the match, but the result of the match is just surprising to me. The Super Eagles played well in their first game against Benin. With the way they played in the game, I have been saying that it’s going to be difficult for any team in their group to compete against them, but they played against Rwanda today and they couldn’t win them. All they could get in the match was a draw, which is really disappointing because I never expected this result.

Let’s see how they will play in their next match, but I won’t just be too confident about them in their coming matches.

Lol, seeing reactions like this after a match is normal especially when it comes to betting or high expectation, everyone said same thing and is normal after a game you give your view concerning what happened. The only problem I don’t get is they calling out Osimhen, obviously it’s a good thing we had draw so we don’t get all perfect after winning Benin republic at this early stage or else we might feel relaxed I know my country players for real. In the aspect of the referee, I believe the premier league VAR will not hesitate to sack or ban anyone who don’t follow the rules aside football ethics for example Bobby although we can’t compare the international standard now but it has always been a problem each time AFCON referees act like this.

I knew the game would take a different dimension all together looking at the fact that the Super Eagles won their last match which would give Rwanda opportunity to go prepare for their opponent because they know it would not be an easy game for them so they had to be very careful and cautious about the game to loosing. Although The eagles are still toping the table but we ought to have Played better than we did.

Anyways, the Super Eagles still have good points to hold onto but that should not make them feel relaxed as they would need to up their games as it seems other teams have taken note of their performance and would go extra miles to prepare for them.

Well we all know his motive for announcing his resignation, but agreement remains agreement so he would definitely leave if his contract has expired but when we see thus happening lots of people will begin to hace doubt in the super eagles performance but I see strength in this action because the players will be fascinated with Eguaveon's actions and would probably want to better without him.

Glad to hear that your country had won Guniea in their match today. A well three points bagged in the group. If they continue with the same energy i must assure you, they will come out successful in the group stage. The idea is not to remain at the top it's to focus on winning every member of the group. Right now, they are leading the table don't forget their other strong countries they haven't played yet. Be glad for this win but also expect anything could happen in the next game. This result I'm seeing in this table is very fair and good for super Eagles and this means that super Eagles will qualify being being the top of the table. u
Under the former coach I was made to understand that our chances of qualifying for afcon is becoming slimmer. Or was it was another competition? Most times I don't follow all these qualifications.
But whatever it might be, I see that many Nigerian players came back for this qualification, which means we'll likely beat our next opponent Libya.

I was unable to watch the match with Rwanda, but I had that Nigeria's obvious goal was ruled out by the officials. How true is this?
