Yesterday, Arsenal and Manchester City competed fiercely in the League Cup, winning 2-0. I think the final was very exciting because the two teams competed closely. There were no goals in the first half, but in the second half, manchesterr City managed to score through O'Reilly, who scored twice against Arsenal. Unfortunately, Arsenall couldn't reply until the end of the match, ultimately winning the match Manchester City has now won the League Cup, and it's a shame Arsenal couldn't win because Manchester City played so well. Arsenal fans are likely very disappointed, but I think Manchester city fans will be very happy to see their team win and claim the League Cup trophy I want to congratulate Manchester City on winning the League Cup trophy Source: https://www.bola.com/inggris/read/6302533/nico-oreilly-jadi-bintang-man-city-bekuk-arsenal-untuk-angkat-trofi-carabao-cup I know Arsenal was never going to beat Manchester City in that game, but it would’ve been better for Arsenal to beat Manchester City to have a taste of a Trophy now, because it might be difficult for them to have access to a trophy as soon as possible, because I’m not completely convinced that Arsenal would be able to win the Premier League, they’re topping with 9 points and Manchester City are chasing them seriously, and they have a game together, they will be playing Manchester City at the Etihad and Manchester City have a game in hand, so there is still so much game to be played in the Premier League, because I think Arsenal can end up trophyless again this season, because I’m really not convinced how they play there football. It was a difficult match to predict anyway but i know that one side is going to win the title though I was somehow surprised to see that Man city was the side that won the title even scoring two goals with the Gunners celebrating any goal. Arsenal are still active in three competition right now and I have this believe that they can win either two from it, for the English premier league title it belongs to Arsenal.

Given their current form, it was quite normal for Arsenal to be the favorites, but Manchester City deservedly won the championship in the final. I'm a little disappointed that I put so much faith in Arsenal, but it's important to remember that they faced no ordinary team and are capable of spectacular victories in any match they play. They played well against Arsenal in the final and won the championship with two goals.

With what the EPL table is now looking like and the games left to finish the season with all the points gap Arsenal has taken ahead of Manchester City, it has now become necessary for Manchester City to focus all energy mostly into the Carabao Cup final making sure to win as not to go trophyless this season. But Arsenal would want to take all trophies so it won't be easy for Manchester City winning too.
The last time Arsenal lost to Manchester City was on April 26, 2023. Ever since then, Arsenal has either won or the game ends in a draw. The backlash Pep has received in the last few games is not enough motivation going into the final. Manchester City's team still looks shaky, and with the Arsenal squad building more momentum across all competitions, winning the Carabao Cup is important to them. Atm I dont know which team will win, the percentage is 50/50. I wish both teams good luck. This time Manchester City won the Cup against Arsenal in a more press easy way than I had expected from the Arsenal side that are said to be arguably the best team in all competitions this season. I wonder what really happened that made Arteta to not press attack but was rather defensive in the game and waiting for a mistake from City to make a counter. Though Arsenal made a balance game in the first half but the second half was just City playing them half field and enjoying the possession with all that 2 goals to champion of the EFL. This would be a minus in Arteta's aim for a quadruplet trophy for Arsenal this season.

Manchester City won't go trophy-less this season. The Carabao Cup isn't the most prestigious, but the Cityzens were very happy when they claimed it. Now Pep Guardiola holds the record for League Cup titles, having won it 5 times, while Manchester City themselves have secured this trophy for the 9th time. City played a great second half, but Arsenal also showed what they are capable of in the closing stages. Calafiori and Jesus hit the crossbar and couldn't score; if they had been a bit more clinical, the match could have turned out completely differently. But as it stands, congratulations to City on winning the Carabao Cup.

I will say the deserve the wining, the proved it, pep is a good manger but he has been facing hard times with his boys, ordinarily I don't think anyone will say that they were a expecting such performance from them, a situation where they had the two goals without arsenal scoring any in a cup finals, they made it easy for themselves for not allowing the match to end in a penalty which we wouldn't know what would've been the result if actually it it was a penalty shootout, my friends were making excuses for arsenal after the match when I was discussing with them, they said arsenal may not have taken the cup serious because other title they are pursuing but my question is that, if arsenal had the opportunity won't they win they win the cup, for me I think the best team won.

Arteta got most of his decisions wrong that's why he lost that match to Pep Guardiola, he really benched some of his important players in a match that winning would give him silverware they've been craving for. The most annoying thng he did was to use Kepa over David Raya, I wonder what gave him the audacity to bench Raya in a finals, maybe he wanted to please Kepa by giving him playing time but why in a finals against Manchester City, is that how weak he felt City's attackers are? well he's been taught a lesson.

Facing hard times doesn't mean he'll have an opportunity to win a trophy and miss it, yesterday's match proved it cause Manchester City played totally differently yesterday, better than how they played against Real Madrid in the champions league and Westham in the EPL, it's obvious that the cup at stake motivated them to win Arsenal. It wasn't very easy cause they couldn't get a goal in the first half but Pep Guardiola took his time to study the match well and came up with a different strategy which Arsenal players couldn't understand in the second half. That's what makes him a great coach, the best in the EPL so far, i believe you'll agree with me on that.

Using Kepa over David Raya in a crucial game as a cup final is probably the most avoidable error any manager would easily identify. In Kepa's early days in Chelsea he was fundly referred to as basket and the entire world would never expect a coach to use him ahead of Raya. Manchester city played the game and deserved the win. Every goal scored in a football match is a product of mistake so arsenal has only faced a similar thing against city. If Arteta continues this level of expensive errors, he may end up going trophiless this season even after having hope of a quadruple.

Arsenal can only win the EPL title, the other competitions will be a dream for them to win because they can easily lose focus and surrender to a big team in the finals. Arteta has a big problem when it comes to winning important matches that will fetch a trophy for the team. He makes the wrong decisions and uses the wrong players.. I think finals are beyond his control.

The only player I know that Mikel Arteta intentionally benched yesterday was David Raya but as for Jurrien Timber and Eberechi Eze, Mikel Arteta didn't intentionally benched them, the reason they didn't feature for Arsenal yesterday was because they were injured, and you shouldn't blame Mikel Arteta for starting Kepa over David Raya because big teams don't usually use their first choice goalkeepers in the Carabao Cup and the FA Cup, they feature their second choice goalkeepers so that they can see what they are made up, and Mikel Arteta need to rest David Raya so that he can perform optimally in the Premier League and the Champions League to ensure a good results for Arsenal.

Actually in a final match like this, what Arteta has to do is prepare a strategy that can win the title not to reserve several players who are usually the mainstays in regular competitions or other competitions but if I understand your statement of course this is a mistake that must be accepted by Arsenal coach Arteta because if you see other teams fighting to get tickets for the final match it means that the team is ready to do anything with the reason to be able to win the competition they are playing but instead in the match they experienced a few mistakes that ended fatally against their real goals even though they know the opponent they are facing is a team that is currently their competitor in the EPL competition even though in the competition their points gap is currently a little far but they should not underestimate the team coached by Pep Guardiola because Pep Guardiola is one of the coaches who often when in the final match the typical goal of winning is very big, this may be the strategy he has greatly influenced the team he coached and that also happened when he was still coaching the La Liga team Barcelona.

Actually you are partly right the English Premier League title belongs to Arsenal but after the way they lost to City in the Carabao Cup final, I still doubt they will be able to win the PL trophy. Manchester City may not go trophyless this season as we have already noted that they have lifted the Carabao Cup. By the way, this EFL Cup final defeat may be a lesson for Arsenal because we can hope that Arsenal will not make these mistakes in the Champions League and Premier League title-deciding matches if they get the chance.

It's a form of pride that they didn't do well enough in other leagues like the champions league and the English premier league, winning the Carabao league is Pep's added achievement, at least even though it's not that prestigious they have a trophy to contribute this season, I don't think Arsenal lost, but yes that's the fact of the matter, I thought maybe Arsenal would get the treble but it looks like that hope is gone from Arsenal. A little bit better at the end doesn't change anything for the team.

Arsenal fans are likely very disappointed, but I think Manchester city fans will be very happy to see their team win and claim the League Cup trophy I want to congratulate Manchester City on winning the League Cup trophy Source: https://www.bola.com/inggris/read/6302533/nico-oreilly-jadi-bintang-man-city-bekuk-arsenal-untuk-angkat-trofi-carabao-cupThis is a well deserved Trophy to Manchester City, they actually worked towards it and they got lucky to achieve the victory, although many people thought Arsenal would won or carry the Trophy 🏆 but, you know we can't predict a football at times, at the same time minority of people were happy as the Manchester City won the match, and I was also impressed with thier great achievements against Arsenal, this are the types of game I always expected from Chelsea in Premier League, ever since they were defeated in champions league matches things aren't going well for them again, it pains me much because I always have hopes on them, imagine small Evaton tear them down. Well a big Congratulations to Manchester city.

It was a difficult match to predict anyway but i know that one side is going to win the title though I was somehow surprised to see that Man city was the side that won the title even scoring two goals with the Gunners celebrating any goal.
What do you expect before, definitely a team is just going to win the trophy. I knew the match will be difficult, but due to Manchester city poor performance lately, I was thinking Arsenal will be winning the match, because if you can check overall performance, then you going to see that Arsenal plays better than Manchester city this season, but it was surprising that Manchester city performance was brilliant in the match, and they played better than Arsenal in the match. Honestly Manchester city winning the trophy was surprising to me, because I judged them base on their performance in premier league, because Arsenal plays better than them, there are some matches that Manchester city are suppose to win, but they ended up playing draw, so I was thinking Arsenal will win.

Arsenal can only win the EPL title,
If Arsenal is able to win even if it is just the Premier League this season, their supporters will celebrate that because that will mean they have broken one of their biggest curse. The Premier League is an important trophy for them, and maybe the loss from the Carabao cup finals will help the team glue more together and get the required result. Arsenal supporters don't need to worry too much because if they had won it, many people would have downplayed the cup and its relevance and said things like it is just a carabao cup. They need to remove this feeling of loss and the negative energy, and try to focus on their remaining games.

They didn't win that trophy by luck, they outplayed Arsenal in the 2nd half, broke their defense and scored 2 header goals, that's not something that's done by luck. I almost placed my bet on Arsenal but I had a second thought in few minutes before the kick off after seeing that David Raya and some players like Eze and Martin Ødegaard were not in the line-up. That's why I blame Arteta because he gambled with the match, Raya especially wasn't injured or out of form so I wonder why he choose to rest him. Congratulations to our noisy neighbour anyways.

Now let’s watch if Arteta will make same mistake some other time mostly when there’s a tough match that needs the best at all cost, at least more effort would help the difficulty instead Arsenal had more shots on target and could not score a single goal compared to Manchester City with just two shots on target and definitely they made good use of it. I dislike blaming the club probably the match was not an easy one, Manchester City played really well and earned the title, luckily despite their poor performance throughout yet the club still managed to win a title. I don’t trust Arsenal currently I cannot tell what they’re capable of doing or not exactly the reason why nothing is guarantee now also the epl title but, 9 points difference is not an easy one except Arsenal wants to joke around.

I think this was more of a tactical mindset at the second half that won Manchester city the game. After ending the first half goalless, Pep Guardiola have to make some tactical moves having seeing that his main striker Erling Haaland is not having enough of the ball as he’s been marked out very closely by the Arsenal defenders, so an unreal player needs to step in to get those goals instead of Haaland and that’s why you see Nico O’riley smashing two goals with his head in the second half, quite unbelievable by the Arsenal players because they never expected it will be him who will get those goals. All the focus was on Haaland leaving O’riley unmarked especially with the second goal.
