So far Manchester City has really brace up from their declined state when the season was just starting and now it's being in a great shape but they haven't really being that strong like the City we know. While Arsenal has continued to be consistent with their form and currently they stand as the strongest team in the EPL, topping their domestic league and the UCL. So, Manchester City winning Newcastle and Liverpool in their next fixtures isn't quite enough reason to conclude that City would beat Arsenal in th Carabao Cup finals. Liverpool and Newcastle form can't be compared to Arsenal's currently.

Let's say both teams have switched performance, by this time few seasons ago Arsenal was playing like Manchester City now and City was dominating the whole of England. If that time comes for the both teams to play the final I still think Arsenal will be ready to hit City like a revenge mission because for so long Arsenal have been on the losing end each time they face Man City. Liverpool, Manchester City and Newcastle are almost the same if you ask me and the 3 teams have been managing in all competitions so why would City come out on top when they face Arsenal in the final? No matter how good City might look against these teams you mentioned I don't think they can defeat Arsenal because the Gunners are seriously hungry to secure something this season and you could see it with how they perform.

I could agree to a relatively switch in performance for the two teams but would make more sense seeing Arsenal win the EPL this time as Manchester City has always previously done when in great form.

Don't be too quick to draw your conclusions that Arsenal will win EPL because it isn't certain yet. Let's watch how their performance will be like till the end of the season if they will have the title fever or not. As for Carabao cup, I believe Arsenal is the favorite to win the finals. They look better than City.

But let's look at it this way, it will be very disappointing if the Gunners go into this game and lose to a slow side as Manchester City because after months of hard work they lose to Manchester City who they are topping in the EPL table and after this Carabao Cup they go and lose the other competition they're in when we see them (Arsenal) as the favorite, I wonder how the fans of Arsenal would feel if all I said happens.
City to win Arsenal will be hard honestly and Pep is not even sure of winning against teams like Brighton, Manchester United, Chelsea, Liverpool and the others not to include Arsenal, they're not as fast as they used to be and check the way they counter in some games is not the same way they used to before and that's why clubs like Nottingham Forest would see them as one of those teams with same strength.

This season sounds like a very promising season for Arsenal in the premier league and yes we can’t really conclude they’re going to win it yet but they are sure favorites. Arsenal needs to be consistent with their performance to get that dream season this season..the champions league trophy, the premier league the FA cup and the EFL which I think is somehow attainable if they can keep up and improve their best performance.

Yeah, they already played against each other and Man City were so close to winning that game also! Martinelli saved his team in the stoppage time then.

Quite true, the trio of Manchester City, liverpool and Newcastle seem to be struggling this season, Liverpool's case is very peculiar because between these three they are the team that had the poorest result through they are now experiencing some stability in terms of performance both in the league and in other competitions but I don't see any possibility of Liverpool winning any trophy this season, I could say the same about Manchester city and Newcastle too, their chances are very slim

Pep's appeal to play Guehi rejected by EFL. So he can't play Guehi in the final against Arsenal. Meanwhile, he can still put Semenyo in their squad. It doesn't look good considering how calmly Guehi was defending for City. Missing him obviously becomes a very crucial result.

yet, i'm not thinking it will give a major blow for his squad caused by everyone is ready. So i think it's still gonna be a very entertaining game to be watched. I expect his club to perform with the same line up like what they did against Newcastle.

It’s too early to conclude on the team that’s going to win the premier league title this season. Arsenal will be playing against Manchester city in the carabao cup final. It’s going to be an interesting and tough one. I don’t even know why people are already concluding that Arsenal will be the one to win the carabao cup.  I know Arsenal is currently in form, but I feel their performance do drop whenever they are playing a big match, the formation that Arteta do make use is what makes them to concede when playing against a big team like Manchester City.

Arsenal looks better than a lot of teams, I don’t find any team that could match them as it is but, is that want really determines who wins what?

Arsenal is a lot better team at the moment than Manchester United and yet, Manchester United managed to beat them 3:2 goals. That wasn’t expected and looking how badly Manchester United have played this season, you wouldn’t expect them to win in a game like that but, they managed it and that’s all it would take, just meaning to win and halting a good defense line.

Manchester City knows they’ve got a chance to take something here and I think they can.
