I belong to a religious organization that encourages people to identify a mentor who will guide them on the path to success. It is recommended that a mentor should be knowledgeable and experienced in an endeavor. It is believed that they will help you avoid the mistakes they made and could show you the easiest ways to get things done. It is difficult for introverts to get a mentor because they like living in their world. I also don't want to be a burden and I also like my space. 

Technology has made mentorship very easy, so you do not need to physically meet anyone for guidance. All you just need to do is to read materials and follow the individual on social media. I wouldn't say I have a mentor because I hardly get attached to people but I have a few people who I learn from and they are mainly online.

Likewise me, but is just unfortunate that i find it difficult to choose a mentor because i'm the kind of person that don't like being too attached to anyone otherwise having a mentor have some advantages since you have someone to always fall back to when things are going wrong with you, your business or career. Mentors are experienced individuals who are more exposed and knowledgeable, so they literally knows how to handle situations better than you and offer the right advise that will guide you on how to go about in life.

Talking about Technology making mentorship easy, it is true but to some extent because there are things you will need to get physical with the person but may not be possible since your communications are mostly done on the internet.

Some of their thoughts require a mentor to guide the way to the desired success, but it depends on the person's thoughts, but some others stand alone to achieve it because they have intelligence and use it even though it is difficult to achieve the success that occurs, depending on how strong the determination is in them.

The first thing that must be in a person who wants to be successful is a spirit and a desire to fight that is high enough before he meets one of the mentors who has been truly successful in a business field. Because it would be very useless if there was a mentor who was able to teach someone to be more successful with some knowledge that would be passed on to him if the person who received the knowledge did not have a high fighting spirit and a desire to start it as soon as possible. So this spirit and desire to fight must be greater in each person so that when he receives a little encouragement from his mentor, it can be quite in line with his own thoughts.

It is a great advantage to have people around you who want you to progress and strive for this. Having a mentor can be beneficial at times, but not everyone has a mentor. A person needs to develop themselves and gain the ability to analyze. Success does not come to a person without doing anything, and it takes effort for success to come to a person.

You do not always need other people to achieve your goals, the important thing is to discover your own potential and start doing what you need to do as soon as possible.

I don't really agree with this expression because for me even if we don't have a mentor, in the end, success is determined by ourselves, not mentors, so it doesn't matter whether we have a mentor or not, everything still has the opportunity to be successful depending on the hard work we do ourselves.

There would really be no progress if you do really make yourself having no plans or making up some targets in towards on trying out to have that progress into your life.

Having a mentor does not equate to how far you can be successful in life. The need for mentor is to avoid some certain mistakes along the struggle path, you don’t want to repeat the same mistakes others have made when you know you can avoid them when you ask. You will be the one to trail on that path alone and you’ll experience some other things that will be very far different from what your mentor experienced during his time.

Those things can either make you stronger and better depending on how you make good use of it. I personally will not discourage one not to go for a mentor when starting to learn something new, but it’s better to not overly depend on them to shape how the future of your path will be on the basis of which you’ve decided to achieve them.

I see mentoring as a short cut to success because you will tap from your mentor's experiences and not make avoidable mistakes. If its free but if its something expensive and you dont have the money then its not a good choice. Never make yourself getting some loan or borrowing money just to have some mentorship. Just like into those mentions above that you could be able to make up some learning on your own if you do really just that know or put up some effort on learning things on your own. Dont make yourself having that kind of hesitation on learning new things because information could be easily obtained on just a few type into online then you could be able to learn up various things. If you do prefer that there's someone who guides you into something then it will really be that
ideal to get some mentor but if you are confident that you can do it on your own without any help and make yourself having that self learn then it will really be that up to you. It all matters about self dedication and discipline about on learning various things without any help. Every information could be found online so its not really that hard at all. Real engagement and other learnings could be obtain by real situation or stuffs.
Not all people who do become successful have its mentor, although there might be some friends or advisors behind but not really that focusing that much or really that mainly listening up all the things they do say but

OP am only quoting your subject; I don't agree that every successful person in life has a mentor, but had it been you used the word ''most'', i would have agreed with you. I have seen a lot of people made it in life and in their businesses without having someone who directs them on what to do and how they ought to do it. Success is a product of creativity and how you are able to manage what you have and what you know such that you don't encounter failure in the process. Success is being followed with determination and some disciplinary measures that guides you to do things the right way so it doesn't necessarily have to involve anyone or anything before you can succeed.

First, the family, proper upbringing, and the value of education that the family explains, then the society we come to based on our interests. But even people born into poor families who understand that they are not ready to vegetate can make their way on their own, and on the contrary, they do not need nannies who will push them through life. even though you have the ability to managing several things and even doing well all by yourself, getting someone who has worked the part you're headed to can also help you get to your desired destination faster enough and his guidance can help you avoid some mistakes you would have encountered if you rested only on your own strength and level of knowledge.

While at college, if you have a senior colleague as a mentor, it gives you access to materials and methods of following after certain courses and that can help boost your academic excellence. Doing that doesn't mean that you're restricting yourself from getting better results than them, what it does is that you're able to combine both your knowledge and the added information you've gotten from them and it all helps you achieve better result.

It's the same thing that helps you attain success in businesses, relationship and in most areas. No man is an island of knowledge, even if he's a genius or nerd. While it wouldn't be "wrong", it would be something we are just lacking data on. Thing is we are not really sure who such mentors, not like people do come out and say they had mentor or not, we have no idea and we can't really get a data of something like this.

It means that we are going to end up with a missing data to be able to say something like this. I am not saying you are wrong, I can't say if you are wrong or not because there is no proof of something like this at all. This is why I believe there isn't anything we can see this growing anything further. So all in all I would guess that the problems that we have right now can't be considered to be that big, just assume that whatever you know could be wrong and trust yourself.

It's great to have a mentor. It helps a lot, especially at the beginning of your financial journey. However, not everyone is going to have the opportunity to have a mentor, because it must be someone trustworthy, and not a random financial guru you watch videos on the internet who is just trying to sell you his courses teaching how to become a millionaire. In this case, you have to learn by yourself. You have to do your own research on the internet, until finding something workable which you can make an income from. Then, from this first step ahead you will already have some experience to start understanding and filtering what is worthy from what is useless.

When you don't have a mentor around, your intuition must be your mentor. So, make it sharp and keen to achieve positive results. It's not going to be plain and simple all the time, especially at the beginning, but that is what you have to do, without expecting a sudden helping hand, which might never come...
