To achieve success, you need to work hard and have goals. However, to make the journey of success easier, a mentor is often needed. If you work according to the advice of a mentor, the entire journey becomes shorter and mistakes are less and it is possible to achieve success quickly. In my experience, there are two families who were very poor. But their relatives were in a very good position. According to their advice, the children of the poor family successfully completed their education and took up the medical profession. The life stories of many such people have changed in this way in our journey of life. We need to understand that life don't have manual, having a mentor doesn't guarantee anything, you can even have a mentor and be faced with a different life challenges different form what your mentor experience. I believe you must have seen a successful person been brought down by a government because he is an opposition party to them, this isn't a say but from an experience and what I saw with my eyes. I don't think every successful person has a mentor, but research shows that those who do tend to be more successful overall. People are influenced by many things, and these influences can affect their personal development. It could be a person, a book or a movie. Ultimately, it comes down to the individual. Maybe the op thinks everyone who is doing well must be attached to some one whom they call a mentor not knowing that successful people today are those who are busy chasing their goals and following the steps of people who are successful who put out good books out there online for people to follow their steps without going for mentors who may be busy with their own thing. As much as that happens, a look at mentorship reveals a direct influence at a high rate as regards the purpose behind the come together. There the outcome of mentorship says it all. Reading that book, listening to that tape or video will all produce influence which are the outcome of mentorship. However, in this case it is indirect unlike direct human to human relationship. While some mentors operate in business areas so don't make it look as if all mentor are the same,  for me I have different mentors who specialize in different areas when I need Investment advice I know the one I'm going to discuss that with if I'm also wrong or confused not in business aspect maybe in other aspects I also have someone to discuss that with so all mentors has areas they specialize on.

Why have a physical mentor when you can actually get all the things you need from a mentor online through different coaches or through reading different books that talks about the challenges you are facing either in business or investment even your personal life. Yes you could use different mentors for different things based on their area of specialization but don't you think it's a bit stressful to be going from different mentors why not try making discoveries by yourself and other educative materials is there to give you all that you need you don't really need different people when Internet has made things way easier.

What you're saying is a fact that can be found in everyone's life, and I understand this because there are so many people who are quite expert in their respective fields. For anything we don't understand, we should at least know who to turn to, because those experts are mentors, even if it's only in one area. Therefore, it would be much better if in every area we don't understand, there would always be a mentor to ask questions to help us achieve our desired goals or solve problems we don't fully understand.

Getting advice from a mentor is certainly beneficial, but theoretical knowledge is not as effective as practical experience. In other words, what truly develops us is our experiences and our ability to apply what we learn from them. In my opinion, knowledge and experience gained through practice are superior to theoretical knowledge. If theoretical knowledge were superior to practical knowledge, everyone in the world would be moral. All people in the world, even those who never went to school, learned morality from their families, but bad things still happen in the world. You don necessarily need t have. A mentor to succeed in life, you can be a mentor of yourself by just doing the needful. Every time we make a big decision in our life, someone or the other gives us advice or many of us get advice from people we like before making a decision. We didn't need a mentor to make or give this decision.

While working smart, you also need to work hard. Stead devotion and commitment to whatever you are doing is what will make your smart work successful. Many people like you are misunderstanding the idea of working smart. Working smart actually means adapting to a new, smart way of making money, instead of the traditional 9-5 jobs that drain you every day. You can be a content creator, thats a smart work. Having a tech skill is also smart work, but regardless, you must show hard work when doing those works, especially in the foundation stage. Why I said this is because many successful People right now started from scratch like basically, from a low life individual to a respected person indeed that's a title that's worth ones effort...over all  having a mentor is very good but to me the best way to learn is for you to learn by yourself, basically everything I do, I do it myself out of insult and frustration  Indeed it's not easy but that's what keeps pushing me to do better and, unfortunately I keep growing from it each day..​That's just my personal experience bro... I see it very simply, everyone is coming from a different place in life. Some had someone by their side and some didn't. So there can't be one rule for how someone will learn. From my own experience I know that learning alone makes people stronger but at the same time it makes them tired for no reason. Then I think if somebody would of told me some time ago I wouldn't have had to push so hard. The opposite is also true, If you just do what somebody tells you to do you stop using your head. With my understanding of mentorship, it does not really depends on making decision through your mentor. I don't know where you have this from but when you talk of mentor, so far you are leaving in this world and you have something doing definitely someone did it before you with my understanding, it is here where inquiry comes in, people don't just jump into business, you have to make inquiries because jumping into any business without a mentor you are at higher risk. I will not argue with you regarding your comment but in this aspect you will realize that there are some people who have mentor and they do better than someone who does not have mentor. We borrow brilliancy, no one can push without support but we can all achieve our goals without mentorship, not very successful people had mentors some had to struggle it out themselves.  So those that had mentors got to the top very easy while those without a mentor take too long to get on top.

And they have played a lot in our lives. However, we humans are ungrateful so we forget them after we become successful.
