I think Roma will stay very disciplined at the back and try to slow the game down. They have one of the best defensive records in the league in terms of goals conceded. That’s football for you — I completely agree, we both got it wrong. All the stats pointed towards a tight, low-scoring game, but instead we got a 2–2 draw and a completely different scenario from what we expected.
For Napoli, this draw feels bittersweet. On one hand, they avoided defeat and held on to third place. On the other, the gap to Inter is now 11 points, and honestly, it’s becoming harder and harder to talk about a title challenge for Conte’s side. The gap just looks too big at this stage.
