Going to start getting back into active gambling from this weekend as La liga new season will start. Belgium pro league and Eredivisie league already started. I plan to execute more with sportsbetting this season because club football is where I have the most edge I can have. Heavily starved since the world cup and again in the preseason.

So far, my experience haven't been the best. Got  burnt by PSV last weekend after they drew at home 2-2. And on this weekend, I got burnt again because USG drew 0-0 at home and every other team in my parlay won. Only USG destroy. Bad start but not giving up yet.

Just keep trying you may win your next bets, PSV bet was a close one but they draw the match and that happens especially in football. This time your luck is testing you because you lost two of your bets only be the team draw the matches. Parlay bets are kind of risky it's better to bet on a single team in a single bet slip. I've done that in past and lost a few bets now I focus on a single team per bet, it's either going to be a win or loss. The winning amount from parlay bets are higher but there's always high risk as well.

It very painful to book games and at the end just one or two will make one not to win the games as proposed.

I don't know how smart and clever they are when doing that but with unfamiliar sports and unfamiliar leagues, in my opinion there are more risk because you only can bet based on stats and head to head records. You have no understanding about these teams, athletes and you will make your bets in mostly blinded way that is more risky than usual when you bet with familiar leagues and teams.

Of course when people get bored, they will try to find something new and try their luckiness but it's not my favorite bet style as I am not rich, and if I bet, I must do it very carefully. Even so I am aware of risk of losing money with gambling and because of this awareness, I would like to reduce risk as smallest as possible by betting very selectively.

I understand that the bookmakers sometimes do some guess work or will I say that they are not so certain about an even, they will try to play mind game with the odd by setting it abnormally. I had a friend who likes betting on big odds from unfamiliar leagues - that's his strategy. He believes bookmakers make mistake sometimes with unfamiliar leagues.
