When gambling for fun, it makes everything much easier for the player, he does not need to worry about following many rules, because he can easily afford to lose what he deposited, because the amount is not large. And in this case, the disappointment from losing will be minimal, or will not have any effect on the player at all. This can be regarded as if you decided to go bowling in the evening, but instead you decide to gamble with this money, then you would have spent this money on entertainment anyway, this approach also takes place.

It's all fun until large amount of money is involved in it. You see people talk about fun in gambling but on the other end, they are using large amount of money to wager, risking too much they can afford to lose. Yesterday, someone paste his whole account to stake Portugal against Spain and gave Portugal win including extra time or penalty and it work for him, you should see what he won but at what cost, risking all you have just because you want to make fortune.

You can imagine how it's going to be later if such person had other game tomorrow and then he thinks that doing such risk again is going to work and in the end it never works, he is not just going to be broke, he is going to feel the wrath of brokeness and make gambling a scam thing mean while you are the one that gamble all your wealth away when you can simply just put what you can afford to lose, gamblers need to do better when it comes to risk.
I think that emotional control can only be controlled by going through this path on your own, gradually over many years. It can be instantaneous, it's like a lifestyle, we should look at the experience of others too, to try to try it on ourselves and what we felt at the same time. In addition, communication with like-minded people helps to look for these keys to success in training emotional intelligence, because one cannot find all those things that will help us. In general, there are many subtleties, you need to collect them and invent a system of training emotions for yourself, over time the result will definitely come, if we are teachable)

The issue is that when you start gambling then it becomes more difficult to consider control and when you meet real gamblers the only thing they want to do is for them because when you start gambling you will first of all focus on money and it is when you start losing good money that you will understand that a lot of people are actually learning and you wont blame them because there is nothing more annoying gambling and not making money and that brings about addiction because the winning now becomes a war. because even you invest you will still need to actually control your emotions so its not just gambling that needs control everything concerning money you will just eventually control your emotion so that things wont go worst.

That’s why it’s important that before placing big bets, we are already emotionally stable and disciplined enough to follow our strategy consistently.

So, guys, how do you control your emotions while gambling? And how has it benefited you?

Even with being emotionally stable before gambling there's still tendency of  going out of proportion  and most times it's caused by uncontrollably habits but how one tends to control it it's quite simple and that's to say one need to keep practicing emotional control to avoid being addicted.and it has benefited mesuxh that I have full control over my habits and know when to stop.

It can really happen especially if you're quite confident to somehow gain something when you gamble your money. Because in gambling you'll feel different emotions depending on the flow of your gambling activity. That's why it's not solely about having a stable emotions before playing, but more on how you can able to control yourself when you play (especially in facing losses). Discipline and set your mind of the risk so you won't expect anything when you use your money in gambling.

True when it comes to controlling emotions older and more experienced gamblers control their emotions much better than new gambler's who is just starting to gamble because they know that gambling is just a game that so they don't get their emotions attached to it because with time they have been able to know and learn that gambling is one thing that you can't trust because there's nothing sure about it so attaching your emotions to it is doing your self more harm

All people experience emotions differently. Some express their emotions vividly, while others suppress them. The tendency to express emotions depends more on a person's temperament, which in turn depends on biological, psychological, and social factors rather than on their experience in gambling. Psychologists say it's better not to suppress emotions but to learn how to manage them. In my opinion, this isn't easy, especially for temperamental people like melancholics and choleric types. That's why not all of us can learn to control our emotions, no matter how much we want to.

The only way to control emotions in gambling is to avoid excess greed. Your words are right because people are addicted to gambling because of excess greed. And those who win regular gambling parents are desperate to make extra money. Just then lost control over yourself. And if you think like gamblers, you can never control emotions. And the habits are not in one day, it slowly presses on itself. Yes if you can make gambling habits with a small amount of money. Then it will be easy to control emotions but in the case of money earning, you will see a lot. That is why not every gamble will be willing to do anything like this.

Absolutely right, those that have more experience are in full control of their emotions because they are now able to accept the outcomes of gambling. Beginners on the other hand might be in the phase of exploration and curiosity. Some would definitely be carried away by greed perhaps from making a lot of Profit. The more experienced you become it would get easier for you to control your emotions only if you don't develop an addiction

What do you mean by large money? I think large money are different from person to person. For example, some people can think 500$ is a large money that a lot of people can't afford to lose/waste. On the other hand, there are a lot of people who can afford even the loss reaching 50000$ or even more. So the large amount should be a figure.

When you talk about emotional control about gambling, I do not just assume it to be when a loss or win occurs in gambling; sometimes it's an emotional moment when you are about to stake a bet, and the odd added to it is huge, and a gambler allows his or her emotion to stake above what they have or can afford, chasing the big odd and not withholding the fact that there's no guarantee to the big odd. This is one thing some gamblers do that I can say shows a gambler has no emotional control over his gambling lifestyle and needs to stop. As a responsible gambler, or someone who gambles well, you should never get that emotional but stick to your plans or budget no matter the situation or how people talk about the match. Sometimes the odds are there just to make you stake big.

Sometimes the odds can be a trap, making every bettor greedier to achieve a bigger win. Simply put, big odds can change a gambler decision. We know that it is very difficult to control emotions when gambling, and those who manage it well will become responsible gamblers. Certainly, by setting limits and not being too greedy with winnings, you will be able to avoid excessive gambling. I think that will make gamblers act more rationally.

The easiest and best way to control emotions when gambling is by gambling with amounts that we are truly prepared to lose. As long as the money we use is set aside͏ and considered "fun money," emotions stay more stable. There isn't stress, there isn't panic, there isn't pushing oneself when the results don't go as expected.

When we begin to gamble beyond our means, particularly with essential money, it is very easy for emotions to run out of control. Small losses are overwhelming. Big losses are painful. That’s where the urge to chase losses emanates from. At this point, strategy is no longer being used against the house but rather against one’s own emotions.

A calm mind, rational decisions, and a much lower opportunity to fall into the trap of chasing losses. In other words, being disciplined about limits is the most realistic way to maintain emotional stability when gambling.

In addition, in the bit to control your emotions, you have to regularly make use of your limits control and gamble responsibly which you have set for yourself so that it will be part of your gambling life, so that in situation like this it will be easy to adopt to help control your emotions.
Even when you enter gambling emotionally stable there is still a chance you drift off track because habits can take over without warning. the only way to control this is to practice emotional discipline over and over until it becomes natural. when you keep training yourself to stop when you need to stop you build a kind of internal switch that protects you from going too far. this has helped many gamblers because once you control your emotions you control your results and you avoid the path that leads to addiction. Using personal limits is one of the strongest ways to keep emotions in check. setting a loss limit a win limit and a time limit makes it easier to walk away because you already decided the rules before the game started. when you follow these limits consistently they turn into part of your gambling lifestyle. in moments where emotions start to rise the limits step in and guide you back to stability.

This approach protects your money and your mindset because emotional gambling always ends badly. when you gamble responsibly you do not chase losses you do not force wins and you do not let your mood control your decisions. instead you treat the game as entertainment. emotional control is not something you do once. it is something you practice until it becomes who you are when you gamble.

You're right about this, greed is the major thing that need to be tackle because most of the responsible gamblers who later became addicted to gamble did that do to greed. It could be that they have been profiting little by little at some point they start feeling that they would have make it in gamble if they had stake with a huge amount of money, after this you might see them going with that method the following days. After going with a huge amount of money for some time probably two or three attempts and it happens that non of them work out for them, they will no longer think of going back to the Old method which is going with little amount, instead they would stick to that current amount they are using and before they would realize What they are doing by them they must have loss control. So greed is something that should be avoided while gambling because it has a lot of disadvantages.

The more a gambler expects to win, the more likely he is to make emotional decisions. And one can only control his emotions if he lives a debt-free life and is not involved in financial struggles. Living a debt-free life and not being involved in financial struggles can keep emotions in check. Losing money in gambling creates stress and even a small loss can be unbearable for many, forcing them to try to recoup the loss. And this is where emotional control can get out of hand. There are many who become so emotional that they get carried away by greed and make irrational decisions and get into chaotic situations that they fail to control.

Putting hope to win a large amount is indeed a mistake for most gamblers so that they always ignore the winnings that have been obtained from the bets played and to be able to avoid this, of course, you have to be able to gamble just for fun and know when to stop and also start, don't let us spend a lot of money in gambling beyond the limits that we can afford, of course, we will be emotional when we experience defeat, but we must be able to control the desire to gamble so as not to spend a lot of money in gambling which will have an impact on other things in our lives.

I assume we’re all mature and responsible gamblers here, but from time to time, we still make mistakes. One of the most common mistakes is failing to control our emotions, we know where that leads.. losses, and the higher the stakes, the bigger the potential losses we have to endure.

That’s why it’s important that before placing big bets, we are already emotionally stable and disciplined enough to follow our strategy consistently.

So, guys, how do you control your emotions while gambling? And how has it benefited you?

Im going to take a hard stance here and say you dont "control" emotions while gambling, you instead design systems that make emotions irrelevant. anyone who thinks they can consistently master emotions in the middle of live bets or big stakes is lying to themselves. Emotions will always show up, i mean we are humans but if you have a fixed stake size decided before you start gambing for day, with your hard stop-loss and stop-loss limits already defined before gambling, and no betting while watching the game live if you know it triggers your impulse bets, if you do these i mean you wiill still lose (everyone does) but your losses will stay controlled and wins are not given back immediately through emotional revenge betting. A gambling timetable is forever very important for every gamblers.

I think the best way to control emotions is by not puting high hope on the bet that has been placed, and one need to be emotionally stable because losing can cause a whole a lot on one mental health, you should be able to endure some certain kind of pains that comes with losing.

Controlling emotions is something that is very difficult to do, maybe this month we control it very well, but that control can change at any time when we are increasingly stimulated by the game and we forget our limits, this is a common problem but it is not a problem if it is only occasional and the mistake is not fatal, there is no truly effective way to control emotions

Putting hope to win a large amount is indeed a mistake for most gamblers so that they always ignore the winnings that have been obtained from the bets played and to be able to avoid this, of course, you have to be able to gamble just for fun and know when to stop and also start.
Greed is very terrible at saving players, it ruins, real fast, all valid positive goal of a player, and sends back most people into losing every dime in their bankroll with no rewards issued to them in return. Gamblers are steadily warned against being greedy, and to understand the fact behind steadfastness in gaming, taking things gradually, would probably pay off over greediness and hurriness.

It is hard if you are not willing to do it.
But basically, if you have been into so many bad results and losses and it has led you to that.
You'll start to think that it shouldn't be gambling anymore that's pushing to it but yourself, your ability to control it must stop that madness from ever getting more losses.
