When you know  Conte then you shouldn’t be surprised by Napoli performance in the champions league, Conte is a man that is not really good in tournament competitions but when it comes to series he his an expert in that. We have seen him at Chelsea and even Tottenham where he failed to perform well in the champions league but won the premier league at Chelsea.

Well maybe Napoli might end up playing in the play offs but I don’t see them making it to even the quarter finals with their performance so far in the tournament. Certainly what could Conte say? We lost because we can't keep up? So like everyone makes up an excuse that also has a basis in truth, fatigue for those who participate in multiple competitions is normal, but it doesn't have to be an excuse to justify defeat.
In football, as in any other game, you win and lose. You have to accept defeat and always improve. If Napoli still wants to run for the competition, they must raise the performance bar.

Seeing Atletico Madrid in 8th place in the champions league standing is a surprise to me because Atletico Madrid were struggling to win their matches at the start of the champions league. And there is nothing wrong with that, you also need to be lucky in order to win. I would also add that Donnarumma incredibly helped the team because if it wasn't for him, especially in the Champions League, they would have been eliminated. And yet they chose to get rid of him.

PSG have not being playing quite well and I don’t think that they can play to perfection of how they’ve been playing before. With or without the goalkeeper, they can make some advancement in the champions league and still show a tough challenge for the title. I have not given up on them though, but they need to show some more professionalism in the game before they can at least get to winning the title again.

Time shall tell because I don’t really see them as a team to look down on, they’re doing well in the Serie A and have recently won the Serie A title also. They may not be putting in same energy in the Serie A as they’re putting into the champions league because of the nature of the two games. They can actually make it to the knockout stage in the competition, but beyond that is what no one can tell because we can’t tell the nature of the team they’ll meet there to advance to the next round.

I don't have any expectations for Napoli at all, despite their impressive performance in Serie A, they are still outclassed in the Champions League. The difference in strength of the squad owned by Antonio Conte is still below Bayern Munich, Arsenal, Real Madrid, Barcelona and several other elite teams, even though they managed to qualify for the Knock-out round, but the chance of appearing in the semifinals is very small. This season I prefer Inter over other Italian teams participating in the UCL, although I am not sure about their ability to win the trophy, but their strength and performance are more complete than Atalanta, Juventus and Napoli.

I don’t have any doubts about Real Madrid or Atlético Madrid because I know their two games will be easy for them to win, except for Atletico Madrid, who will be playing against Galatasaray. It will be a bit hard for them to cope, but nevertheless, we will wait and see how the game will be. As for Napoli, I have nothing much to say because they might find it a bit easy to beat Copenhagen, but that game against Chelsea will be very hard for them to win, which means they have less hope of even being among the playoff teams. Only time will tell. Let’s give them more time and see.

There is still time to improve things. The gap in the La Liga table is 4 points, they are waiting for Barcelona to slip up and can hope to reach first place. Xabi Alonso has good tactics that the players are currently unable to fully follow because they are not in form like in previous seasons. I like that he also gives chances to younger players such as Arda Guler. In the UCL they are still fighting for a top 8 spot,  that loss to Man City was certainly unnecessary. All in all, i think Xabi will remain on the Real Madrid bench

Napoli is ranked 23rd in the Champions League standings this season and they have only been able to win 2 times out of 6 matches played and mathematically there is a possibility of bad possibilities for Napoli especially the performance they have shown in the Champions League competition this season is not that impressive so it is natural that many doubt them but I personally will not think so because I believe that Conte is a great coach who can do many things to help his team and I believe that Conte can bring Napoli to the knockout stages although for a further journey it cannot be expected because we are realistic that the competition in the Champions League is very difficult and Napoli does not have that much strength to compete.

Arsenal are clearly under pressure but i understand them, in the sense that they are a team that can certainly do very well but having a team like Manchester City behind them they are certainly afraid of making some big mistakes, they must keep calm and try to get the situation under control.

Historically, Napoli haven't had a strong Champions League tradition, and this is often evident when they face mentally mature teams like Benfica. Conte's complaints about physical fitness are understandable, but consistency and experience are key factors in the Champions League. A chance of making the playoffs is still there, but Napoli must improve quickly, as relying solely on a renowned coach or the quality of individual players without good tactics to improve performance on the pitch is not enough.

Coincidentally, Napoli's next game is against Copenhagen, which is in 24th place  Considering that the last game will be away against Chelsea and Chelsea will play only to win, I would say that the game against Copenhagen will be decisive for Napoli. If they don't get 3 points, there's a chance they'll end up in the Champions League right at the group stage. Benfica, Union, and Athletic are behind them, and they could earn points and overtake Napoli. This will be a loss for the tournament, but on the other hand, I don’t like the fact that in the new format, every big club is insured against elimination in the group stage - this defeats the purpose of the group stage as such.
