The first one is highly winnable. Monaco have got worse this season. Their biggest problem is with defending. I can't say they are scoring a lot in the CL either. We saw an example of it against Galatasaray. They found a lot of chances but were able to score only once.

The Benfica one is trickier and this will be the decider for Real Madrid to finish in top 8 in case of beating Monaco. Benfica won their last 2 matches and now they have hope for top 24. Xabi Alonso had better make progress until then.

With the form of Madrid in their current games, I don’t see any of these games as easy but They are Madrid, they can switch up any day and give us a Superb performance.

As Monaco won their last match against Galatasaray though they’ve been in on and off form but they got lucky that day and won, so it is with football. The unexpected can always happen at any time and a lot of teams have not been performing at their best this season and consistently too. This is a great example especially in relation to Xabi Alonso. He went from zero to hero in the Bundesliga, playing one of the best seasons of all time in European football, and now he is sitting in the hot seat. I am sure he thought this was going to be much easier than it is. I was actually expecting him to get more time and not be confronted with as much pressure as I thought Real Madrid would be happy to have a Spaniard as their coach and really someone who made history himself. Every club have their hard times maybe this is one of Madrid's tough time and they have to deal with it cause they're a team that's capable of doing so, well things haven't really gone very bad in their domestic and Champions league competition so there's enough time for them to try put things in order.

 Alonso is trying his best, it's not easy to move into a club that's filled with players that are not very familiar with his own strategy and he has to make sure they all adapt so people shouldn't expect that it would be very easy, even great coaches line Pep Guardiola took about 18months in City and cleared almost the full team then bought the once who understood his strategy before things started falling in place, it might take a while but Madrid would bounce back stronger.

I don't think their place in the Champions League is that ugly, Manchester City are good than them right now but better to be at top 8 than be nothing or below the top 8. There is just 2 matches away from here, if they can contain those two matches and advance further, they can comfortably goto next stage where I think by that time, they should be stable at the every position in any league, I have seen some things bad here but get better with time.

If you can remember, Real Madrid never had loss in the beginning, they were following Arsenal until they loss. You can see that Arsenal is at the top cruising well and don't have any challenges here but they are having problems in  their domestic league.
