This is soo true, honestly it took that last leg against Man City to make me realize this philosophy, Real Madrid are lethal in the Champions League regardless of there form. And the funny thing is that Real Madrid won't park the bus against Man City because that would create an avenue for City to create chance to attack them. After watching Tottenham's performance at Liverpool's home ground, we feel like the Spurs were much more focused in tonight's game, to be honest I have seen this team lose many matches but tonight they managed to turn things around in their thirtieth match at Anfield. You are right that beating Liverpool in the last 16 of the Champions League at Anfield will enhance Galatasaray's prestige if they can do it. Bellingham and Ceballos absent at the midfield same way in the last match, Mbappe and Rodrygo are both at the forward and both of them are still injured until now meaning they are mostly going to be absent from tomorrow's game. Now Mendy has gone to join other defenders such as Alana and Militao among others who had been absent at the defense. I just hope they won't face more during this second leg and I still see them maintaining the tempo like they did in the first leg. I am also thinking how strong the Manchester City squad would have prepared but if not for pressure and the uncertainty which comes with football, one can. Confidently say Madrid is winning this game too or at worse end up in a draw game.

A struggle against Elche wasn't expected at all. Elche is a team that is trying to get out of the relegation zone and their defense is one of the worst in the league. There was no reason to fear Elche and anything but a victory in that match would have been a huge disappointment. What really came as a big surprise was the flawless defeat of Manchester City. Nobody saw that coming and it wasn't a narrow victory, it was a resounding victory that shocked everyone.

Since they played so well in that match, I think nobody will play down the chances for Real Madrid to win the UCL. If they can beat Manchester City in that fashion, usually they can beat all the teams. My favorites are now PSG and Bayern and then Real Madrid as a surprise because they can never be counted out.

I do not consider them weak in the slightest way in La Liga, they have just started poorly with Xabi Alonso and had some games gone sideways which they should have won. I do think they will qualify when Manchester City host them at the Etihad stadium on Tuesday. And for Barcelona versus Newcastle, Newcastle can come with the heat but this should most definitely be their last game of this competition. There's no way Eddie Howe keeps his job, he's been less targeted despite his inconsistency.

This is so true. Real Madrid was never a weak team. A team with the best striker and LW winger in the world is not a weak team. Madrid has a squad that can win trophies, young, talented players who can get the job done. Unfortunately, they started poorly with Xabi Alonso, and we didn't expect that from the beginning of the season. You have to admit that at some point Real Madrid became very weak because despite all the best players in the team they couldn't win their games in the league and their performance in the champions League was totally disorganized, I know that with Xabi Alonso they were not doing well so it affected their performance and make the team lose a lot of games but in their outing in the champions League they have been good especially their last outing in the champions League against Manchester City it means that they still have what it takes to in the competition.
