There was no surprise in PSG match and PSG was the side that advanced to the Semi-Final. I would have expected Liverpool to be a bit more eager but they couldn't do what was necessary.

In Barcelona match, things could have gone a bit differently if it weren't for the red card. I don't know why but Barcelona's players acted as if they stubbornly didn't want to advance, though we can't say the same for all of them, let's say some players behaved that way.

Looking at the bigger picture, this year's CL winner will be Bayern Munich, provided they don't hit a snag against Real Madrid. If Real Madrid manages to eliminate Bayern, then they'll go on to claim the title as well.

PSG already sealed it's advancement. They are now leading by 1 goal and I don't know what magic Liverpool can perform here again. Barca had already gotten a red card again at around 79 minutes of the match and this will definitely affect the match. The chances of Barca proceeding from this stage is now low. It's a pity that Atletico Madrid will still eliminate Barca from this cup again, making it two cups Barca had lose due to defeat by Atletico Madrid.

Even by the performance of Liverpool, I expected nothing from them, in the first half they did tried to see how they can take control of the game but it was not long before PSG balanced the game and they had better attempts in the first half. They can try again next season, but for this season this may be the end of the journey. Barcelona I will say is the cause of their own problems.

Liverpool's journey here has come to an end. They will continue their fight in the Premier League. Five teams from England will go to the Champions League, and since Liverpool are currently in 5th place, they are in a good position for next year's ranking. At least Liverpool should have tried to score a goal in Anfield tonight, I thought they said the fans in Anfield are something else that no team can handle especially in this kind of return game, they were completely outplayed by PSG and right now is all over for Liverpool in the champions leagues this season. it is hard to believe that Atletico Madrid kicked out a team like Barcelona from the champions league, i still find it hard to believe that this actually happened today. Just like you said, Barcelona wasted their chances and this was what caused their downfall. I was worried about the fact that Atletico Madrid won in the first leg, i had a feeling that Barcelona would not be able to score enough goals to make them have more aggregate goals. This is a huge loss for Barcelona this season, it must be really frustrating that they failed in the previous season and this season as well.

Indeed the game ended as expected even though I was expecting a goal from Liverpool in the second half when they were pressing hard, but they are not clinical enough to score a single goal which result to losing home and away to PSG with an aggregate score of 4-0.
Chelsea even played better than Liverpool against PSG because they scored two goals even though they conceded eight goals.

On the other hand; Atletico Madrid has again eliminated Barcelona from the Champions League quarterfinal despite losing 2-1. The game ended with an aggregate score of 3-1 in favor of Atletico Madrid. Barcelona needs to work on their players discipline especially defensive wise, getting red cards home and away is really bad, and that gave Atletico Madrid chance to eliminate them.

Not remontada anymore, Barcelona's fans expected comeback against Atletico Madrid but the final result Atletico Madrid indeed loss but can't help Barcelona qualify to semifinal round after losing aggregate 3-2. I think classic problem for Barcelona in this match behind failed of offside trap the central defender easily make fatal fault, seeing the position of Eric Garcia when making fault its crucial for him get red card.

Earlier in the day, I’ would said I thought Atleti would pass the turn, even though Barcelona would win, and that’s exactly what happened. I get it right every now and then, just a bit of luck! Now, Atlético will almost certainly face Arsenal, who play very well but struggle against very defensive teams, as they have shown on several occasions. I’m sure Cholo Simeone will come up with something special.

You see why I love football, it's for this kind of moment. There is nothing Barcelona fans didn't say since yesterday comes today, they said all sort of mannerless statements just to upset Atletico Madrid players and the coach. Yamal did wanted to be served and he was served like he did expect, very disrespectful player that got opportunity to play early but doesn't know his place, even the time of prime Messi, he isn't this sill with the way he banger other teams.

They try though, they spoilt everything with that red card if not even with the pressure, they can keep up until the end with an extra one goal. That would have give them an opportunity to play for another extra time. No matter the magic behind what Atletico Madrid has on that pitch, even as people complained alot about the pich, the way Barcelona were able to score two goals, they would have finished this game with 1-3 and then qualify to the final.

I didn't watch the game because I already had my expectations, and I guess it was same for others. This Liverpool team is done. I think they're are closer to starting things afresh with this manager, than to continue from where Klopp left off. I won't judge them based on this game, because it's not as if PSG is just a small random team. I think their overall performance this season should be used for evaluation.

And as for the Barce game, well, they actually did well, but doing well is never enough. In games like this, finding ways to survive matters, and I guess that was what Simeone did. That 1-2 scoreline felt like a defeat, but on aggregates, it was a win that needed to be protected, and they did it well. Congrats to all winners, and over to those that will be in action tomorrow. Like I said before now, I aren't expecting Remontada from any team in this Quarter finals.

What a night of football, Barcelona didn’t learn their lesson from the Copa del Rey not to let Atletico Madrid have the advantage in the first leg…. They’ve paid the price twice now.

That wasn’t a surprising result at all, PSG won the second leg as expected, they scored another two goals to complete it 0-4 aggregate, two goals from the first leg and the two goals in the second leg. Liverpool continue to show their weakness against big teams, they always struggle to get a goal when they play against big teams, they couldn’t score against Manchester City in the FA Cup and both the two legs matches against PSG in the Champions League.

I agree that they played better today than they did in the first leg, but that doesn’t change anything, they still lost the second leg with the same goals. Though it was their home ground in front of their supporters, yet Liverpool couldn’t get a single goal. Moh Salah have played his last Champions League game as a Liverpool player since he will leave at the end of the season. Slot should also leave the club at the end of the season.

Everyone expected PSG to win today, I don’t think anyone will even compare PSG with Liverpool this season. PSG won Liverpool both the first and second leg of the match, and they have been promoted to the semi final of the competition. Liverpool have not been consistent this season, I don’t really know what their problem is right now, and PSG took advantage of their poor performance this season.

The match wasn’t really a easy one for Atletico Madrid, Barcelona completely dominated the match, and they scored two goals in the match, but Atletico Madrid were able to score a goal in the match also. Atletico Madrid were just lucky because of two goals which they won when the first leg was played.

Ultimately the battle between Barcelona and Atlatico Madrid has been over and eventually Atlatico Madrid has win with 3-2 aggregate and to honest it really make me feel sad because from many years Barcelona has just been struggling for the UEFA Champions League title, but unfortunately, 11 years has been over and still they not even yet smell the trophy. However match was quite hard both side made some decent effort. Initially at first half Barcelona was too good and even they made a comeback but after Lookman goal the tempo get down and even the red card make things more worse and that's why in second half Atlatico Madrid were the dominator of the match.....

Liverpool is also got knocked down by 4 nill. Both match was already benchmarked by the first leg and both team knocked out form the competition. Currently two heavyweight has been out and I hope for next they will be try hard.

What a bloody contest, 2 oppositing players got themselves injured with blood on their faces, that's to show how important this encounter was for both sides. And I think this is the first time in the history of Barcelona playing in the champions league that a red card was shown both at home and away.
Something I love about Atletico tonight was that they gave Barcelona all what they received and not the type they will drop back and be defending from the start of the game till the end, this time around they made it easy for themselves and harder for Barcelona, attacking while defending is the best thing Atletico Madrid did tonight to earn their spot in the semi finals. Barcelona did all they could to get that last goal without minding the red card and I must applaud Araujo for the trouble he came on with, ever since he was introduced the defense of ATM became more busy, Lewandowski who has that one opportunity to level the game base on aggregate , how I wish it was Araujo with that chance who knows if it would have gone into the back of the net. Barcelona are out so they have to concentrate more on the La Liga title.

PSG's dominance in the game makes things difficult for their opponents. They gained an advantage in the first match and achieved their goal in the second. There's nothing Barcelona can do again to take this match to extra time as they have been given a red card which will slow down their game and stop them from scoring one more goal. Some few days ago, I said that what happened between Barcelona and Atletico Madrid in the semi final of Copa del Rey will be what will happen in their Champions League semi final tie, and from the look of things it seems I might be right.

It's actually a tough day for Barcelona they have been eliminated. Their second half performance was too poor honestly, i don't know why Hansi Flick removed Ferran Torres in this game because his performance was excellent today, immediately Hansi Flick substituted him Barcelona attack became weak even Lamine Yamal couldn't performed well again.

Barcelona problem this season they cannot maintain a cleansheet if not, they are in the better side to get the victory in this game. hard luck to Barcelon, they should prepare well against next season, honestly their financial excuses won't help they need to invest to get the players to fill in the positions they are lacking.
