It's true that madrid is a bigger place compared to Leverkusen but I think that the Madrid job is bigger than Alonso, any coach that has won a trophy in a competitive league like the German bundesliga is a coach that knows what he is doing so madrid is in safe hand under Alonso.

As for Chelsea playing against Bayern Munich , I see no much deal there because England teams makes games uncomfortable for those teams outside England and secondly those teams gives room for lost when ever they play with any team that is struggling with consistency all because the underestimate their performance giving room for unimaginable results at last. He has done well in Bayern Leverkusen, no doubt about that. If he can do same thing here at Real Madrid, this team will become one of the best team to have played in the champions league this season. I know he’s not experienced as a coach in the champions league, but he’s experienced as a past player in the competition.
