UEFA Champions League 2025/26 Season

Tomorrow we will look back at very interesting competition and certainly very competitive. But from most matches somehow I am a little more focused and curious about the Munich and Chelsea matches. Chelsea who are always praised after successfully getting rid of PSG in the CWC competition but this time facing Munich is not an easy job and the chances of Chelsea victory are very small.

What do you think ?

This is going to be one hell of a game that will be difficult to predict by majority. Despite both teams having players in all departments it will still not be easy to say who will win at the end of the game. Bayern Munich wouldn't want to lose at home and Chelsea on the other hand wouldn't also want to lose at the hands of Bayern. Fierce game, but I see both teams to score and what happens after i can't predict further.

It's already obvious Real Madrid and PSG will win the match since they will play in their home, that's why guessing the result in Arsenal vs Athletic Bilbao is more fun because it quite harder, even though I believe Arsenal will win the match.

Athletic Bilbao is no longer strong anymore, they only won with small margin and they lost against smaller teams.

Munich vs Chelsea is 50/50, but the bookie really favoring Munich, so the odds to bet Munich to win not worth it, draw could happen.

I also think that these two teams can do very well and win the match easily, they are clearly the favorites, in my opinion Real Madrid will win easily but I think that PSG will have some difficulties, don't take my words as law, they are just my suppositions

What else is there for them to do than try to retain the Champions League, although I know it's really going to be hard but there is nothing that's impossible if they put in the works and the will power. There performance on one hand can't really be placed to their last season but they have been quite okay too and the goals are coming along with the fact that there defense is also good so they will try and just maybe they can do it.

They would need o comeback as a force with more fire power to be able to retain the UCL title Real  Madrid  doing it 3 times in a row wasn't easy, and so, should PSG not retain it I don't think it should be a big problem for them. Inter Milan started this season badly, they have already lost two games in just a few opening rounds, and I think they won't be able to go that far in the Champions League this season. I think it's really going to be a very interesting game, and also believe the game is going to produce a lot of goals. Chelsea won the CWC final against PSG, but I think this is a different kind of test for them.
Bayern Munich has been in a very fine form since the start of the season,  although Chelsea has not started badly too, but if I should make a prediction, I will give it to Bayern Munich.

I think the new UCL format is good this way. Teams have to play each other before moving to the knockout stage. It gives room for average teams to qualify to the next round without being eliminated in the first round.  

I also agree with you because this format keeps the competition interesting even from the early stages. Imagine this round we will see Bayern Munic playing Chelsea and other great fixtures, unlike before when the group stages were not that serious and we could easily know the teams that will qualify from each of the groups. None of the team are confident of progressing to the next stage, they know such will come with great work and dedication which will make the competition very interesting.

If we look at last year, PSG was 15th on the league stage. They might have disqualified early if it hadn't won last 3 games. On the first 5, they had won just 1 game. So they evolved as the league progressed and improved at the final moments. They kept improving and through play off reached the knock out stage and won the league. I don't mean to say they'll win again but things could go differently as the season progress as its a very long period.
It's good to see PSG as new winners but they were dominating the Ligue 1 for a decade now and there are just a few teams that had been successful in reaching the semi finals repeatedly. I don't see any new team winning the trophy again.

The new format used in the Champions League requires each team to perform consistently in order to qualify for the next round. What is happening now is very different from the previous format (group stage), after the group division is announced, we can guess which clubs will qualify for the knock-out round.

Now the level of competition is getting more competitive, we will see so many big matches taking place in this round (League Stage), the Bayern Munich vs Chelsea match is one example that makes the UCL even more interesting. This is the second season since the new system was implemented, and the 36 participating teams must adapt to it as the number of matches has increased. Coaches also need to maintain player fitness amidst the busy schedule to ensure their teams maintain consistent performance.

I think it makes sense, if PSG considers Real Madrid to be weak, but history records that during the UEFA Champions League the two clubs have been faced if I am not wrong eight times, this proves The two clubs are indeed competing, but as long as the two meet on the field the results are Real Madrid can beat PSG four times and PSG won twice later ended in a draw.

If truly Nico Williams is saying that actually, then I would say that he is still not come to terms with reality, because arsenal is not on the same level with them, the best possible result they can get from this game is a draw. Am not saying that arsenal will run over them, what am trying to say is that this game is a clear winning for arsenal even though football can be sometimes unpredictable.
Sometimes players will want to talk tough just to bring themselves into the spotlight, and I think that it's what Nico Williams is trying to do, but no matter how tough he talks, on the field of play, it's going to be a different ball game altogether because talking is way more easier, than doing what you said.

Gunners have to prove themselves in English Premier League by winning it first rather than just being among the top teams. UEFA Champions League saw these years new teams winning it like PSG and Manchester City but gunners have to wait in my opinion, their turn doesn't come yet. There is still more efforts needs to be done before winning it.

Fabrizio Romano writes that Bellingham is back in the game, by the way Camavinga too, and this is great news for Real's midfield. He is not in the preliminary starting lineup yet, but the most important thing is that he is no longer on the list of injured players, and the official starting lineup will appear a little later, then we will see what kind of regination Alonso will accept, will he be in the starting lineup against Marseille today, or maybe he will start from the bench and come into the game only when necessary.

Judging from Ligue 1, PSG can't be easily defeated. That league was created for them all along. Haha, enough talking about Ligue 1 just for PSG.

Last season was indeed interesting, when PSG won the Champions League. That was extraordinary. It had been their dream for a long time. They even spent a lot of money to recruit star players to their team, but it didn't work out. Only last season did they succeed even without many star players.

This season will certainly be very different, if not even more difficult, for them to win. Although they have the possibility of winning again, it sounds very difficult.

It a very nice prediction and I also played a very similar game to yours, just that in the Benfica game I played Benfica to score 2 goals and above, I also thought about the BTTS but I just feel that qarabag will find it difficult to score in that game.

I’m not taking anything away from them, they are a very good side and I expect them to cause some problem to that Benfica defense but I just want to play it safe. Well I really hope it comes through, I lost so much this weekend and I hope I recover on this game.

Another game I’m a abit tense about is the PSV game, it going to be easy for them if they score first but if they didn’t it will be a very difficult game for them.
