It a win-win game situation, any team that qualified for the champions league competition can't be underrated, Chelsea aren't stable in their form right now, out of their 3 straight matches, they drew 2 of their Premier league games and lost 1, and in the Champions League they lost to Bayern Munich, they haven't won any game since their last 4 matches.

They have actually played five matches, won two, drew two and lost one. With five matches so far and sitting on the sixth place on the table, it is something to not really say they’re that bad yet. With close point gaps between this teams now, any form of loss from any team will push the one lower to climb up the standings quickly.

Their journey in the champions league is yet to be fascinating but with their coming fixture against Benfica, a win for them will boost their confidence in the competition. Chelsea more likely will be the victor and we might even trash them but this doesn't put us as Champions league title contenders, looking at our squad depth and defense which is subpar for me to see my team being a serious contenders on any major tournament.

Also, I think you are looking down at Chelsea saying we getting a goal against Bayern Munich and still losing three goals to one was still good whereas it was far from that, our defense was trash and we actually could have done better. Chelsea's next game in the UCL will be against Benfica at Stamford Bridge agaisnt Benfica. Jose Mourinho, a former coach of the club, would be welcomed back to the Bridge. I hope Chelsea will get three points from that game because the race for the trophy has started.    

I have no doubt about Chelsea’s next Champions league game even if it’s against their former boss Jose Mourinho’s team, they’re going to win. Benfica has not been in good form and they’re struggling to score goals even if Chelsea is also not in excellent form but they’re better than José Mourinho’s side. I’ think Mourinho has passed his prime in coaching, his tactics are no longer efficient and effective as before, I’m surprised they’ even employed his services  maybe they’re giving him a chance to prove himself based on his past pedigree. Chelsea are a good team and they definitely have the potential to do well in the English Premier League as well as in various European league tournaments. If the top four or five teams are selected for the Champions League, then Chelsea must be included because Chelsea currently has such a team and they have been performing like that recently. Maybe they lost against Manchester United in the last English Premier League match, but that is not a big deal. Sometimes it is seen that a very big team loses against a weak opponent. Chelsea should forget about the performance they performed against Manchester United and plan well for the upcoming matches, especially the Champions League matches.

Chelsea are definitely going to win against benfica, they have shown a lot of dominance this season unlike benfica. Benfica is a very good and strong team, but for me, looking at their last few matches, it seems that maybe Benfica can win against Chelsea. Because Chelsea is in a much better form than Benfica at the moment. Chelsea is much better in all aspects. But yes, as you said, I think it could be a goal. We might see a very exciting and very aggressive match. Both teams are very good. But if we look at the form, Chelsea would be much better in this aspect. Let's see what happens in the match.

I dont like so much this "new" calendar, where Champions League is played in a whole week (tuesday,wednesday and thursday) and the europa league in the other one, i know with the new format and more games something has to change but somehow i like the past one, where tuesday and wednesday were champions league days and thursday EUL and conference.

Actually, it’s not too different because the new UCL format requires more time and more matches. We just need to adapt to it. I think FIFA's goal is also business-oriented; the more matches there are, the more money they make. Indeed, at the moment I'm not as fanatic as before, I just often check the match results in the morning. So, I don't feel too tired in the morning because I have work obligations.

I noticed something from Chelsea since this current coach took over, it is very difficult for small team like Benfica to defeat Chelsea in this UEFA champion league because they know it will be a disgrace to allow such thing to happen, Chelsea will definitely win this match to defeat their opponent to make their fans happy because what happened in the home of Bayern Munich will not happen in this match which is my prediction, i understand that Benfica will play this match just to reduce Chelsea points from the second match, but Chelsea players will not going to make such mistake in this match because opportunity for Chelsea to win this match is in their coach hand, he need to use their talented players to start the match.

 Galatasaray will play Liverpool, and they'll need to be very careful after conceding five goals in the first leg in Frankfurt. Liverpool has the potential to score more goals. It's obvious that in UCL games shocking results do happen and there are always hard times when you have trouble guessing who will play how. But I am suspecting that we are going to see most of the favourites win this week. Real Madrid is playing one of the easiest games they are going to play and unless something like Sheriff game happens, they are going to win very easily, you can even play handicap on that game.

Inter is playing Prague, should be easy to win that game, Liverpool is playing Galatasaray, such an easy game for them, Bayern Munich is playing Pafos, should be very easy once again. As you can see, there are so many games that should normally be very easy, and if you parlay them together, the result is not bad.
