Using Manchester United as an example of a fail club isn't fair because the last time I checked, Manchester United isn't the worse performing club in the premiership,I am sure they are still clubs in the premiership that are doing worse than Manchester United, yet you will never hear people talks about them. Well ...they kinda fooled all of us during summer world club cup right ? after they won most of football fans saw Chelsea as the best team in the world but in the end , it was just a pure luck and players had an amazing run because so far in EPL and UCL , I saw nothing great coming out from Chelsea football. Also , going against Benfica in this situation .....makes me think that this game can end up with a draw as neither of teams are looking great right now.

Since the Club World Cup and Chelsea's victory, many people have assumed that Chelsea will perform very well this season in the Champions League and the English Premier League. Chelsea defeat was purely due to poor performances in several matches, the one against Brighton exacerbated by a red card that led to a change in the starting lineup. deliberate losing ke? when they even have injury problem that they are battling with? now that palmer is no long in the squad due to injury, they will now have another excuse if they fail to get a good result from this game. Chelsea have been losing consistently and if they continue in this manner, there champions league journey might end up becoming a thing of ridicule with more bad result that is on the way.
