Right now, I need a goal from Ajax, but I don't think I'm going to get it; instead, Marseille just keeps scoring more. Ajax haven't even created many chances to even score, they've had just one shot on target and now I'm regretting why I went with both teams to score. I can't believe getting a goal will be so difficult for Ajax in this game.

The Galatasaray-Liverpool match ended at halftime. Galatasaray took a 1-0 lead thanks to Osimhen's penalty, and the team went to the locker room with a bit more ease. Liverpool launched an attack, but Galatasaray goalkeeper Uğurcan made a brilliant save.

I still believe Liverpool won't lose this match. Salah and Isak will come in soon and give Liverpool something. It was always going to be difficult play Gala away with no Salah in the starting lineup. Galatasaray's defense looked better than in the previous match, and they managed to maintain their lead until the end of the first half. Galatasaray almost scored a second goal due to Liverpool's poor defense, but unfortunately, they couldn't. There was too much space in Liverpool's defense for Galatasaray to exploit in the first half, but it was all about composure and finishing.

The second half of the match has started already, and Galatasaray are still ahead of Liverpool, let’s see if Galatasaray will be able to maintain their current lead till the match is going to end. Seriously Liverpool defense is so poor this season which is really going to affect them if they dont work on that. it seems Galatasaray are putting high hopes on that single goal.. Liverpool has been completely dominative in the game while they continue playing defensively.. So far i haven’t seen that much of counter attacks either, the keepers seem to be filling the gap and saving Liverpool a** from some possible goalswhile they all went in full attack mode..

Galatasary is truly giving Liverpool a very tough time. I actually didn't watch this match in the first half. I wasted my time watching Chelsea Vs Benfica because of the Special One, not knowing that Liverpool is struggling here.
Victor Osimhen really missed an opportunity to extend their lead by 1 goal as he missed a one on one opportunity with Allison. This match is very tough. Alexander Isak has been introduced, lemme see if he can turn the match around for Liverpool.

Harry Kane has scored 4 goals currently though i don't know if he will score more goals in the game against Pafos tonight as the match is still ongoing so i think that the top goal scorer of the Champions League this season will go to either Kylian Mbappe or Harry Kane because both players are really trying hard to maintain a goal scoring record in the Champions League. That's almost becoming an impossible mission in this game for Ajax because Marseille is on fire! What were they expecting? To win against the French team that has Aubameyang and the rest in it?  They don't even have players anymore to compete with due to a reckless management that only breeds players for sale every season. I don't think they're still planning to retain their position in the league!

Am I expected more goals in the game, no really.. maybe 1 or 2 more can make even better history and push them almost out the window. The last thing I'd want to see is a team that's not even trying to function well, struggle in the champions league!

I am surprised that Galatasaray is winning Liverpool after they played the first 45 minutes, because I believe with the quality of players at Liverpool, Galatasaray wouldn't be a threat for them. Since Liverpool didn't level up with Galatasaray in the first half, it will be difficult for Liverpool to come from behind and defeat Galatasaray in the second half.

I think you're not the only one losing thanks to Liverpool. I had heavily bet on the 2, and at this point in the match I think all hope is gone. There might be a last-minute draw, but I don't think it will happen.

Atletico Madrid is my biggest surprise, a team that hardly scores goals and most of the time plays defensive in almost all their matches, all of a sudden algae scored five goals. Few days ago they also scored five against Real Madrid and today again another five goals. Atletico Madrid has now scored ten goals in two matches. How I wish I was watching this match here, instead of the Chelsea match that they are showing here in this place.

Liverpool should have an easy time here. I have read on twitter that "Galatasaray" means something something Palace, and Liverpool just lost to crystal palace lol. I doubt they will lose back to back but that is a good and funny coincidence. This should be an easy game for them but that is exactly why it is so difficult.

When you underestimate your opponent, you may end up losing the game, in fact if they won the Palace game then I would say there was a serious risk of them losing this game. But now that they have already lost, I do not think that they will underestimate, they won't want two games in a row loss, so they are going to be more careful. I'm not surprised to see Liverpool losing the game tonight because there statistics shows that Galatasaray win more than them especially at home and it happen that today, that history has repeat itself because Liverpool last match against Galatasaray was 2011 and Galatasaray won about 4:3 so I'm just wondering why they could not even play over 1.5 goal in this match. But I'm feeling the game might end 1:1 draw but who knows and Liverpool is showing some signs of weakness and they won't achieve anything if they continue like this.

Comfy wins by Real and Bayern (both scored 5 in their respective matches) are not a surprise, as their rivals were ranked much lower.

The biggest surprise is Liverpool losing to Galatasaray 1-0. I've seen a video on X showing a large number of Galatasaray fans firing up fireworks during the night in front of the hotel that Liverpool players resided in. They tried to prevent Liverpool squad from getting a proper sleep and therefore give Galatasaray an extra advantage. A dirty move indeed, but I wonder if that worked.

Another big win for Atletico Madrid. After defeating Real in the derby this weekend, today they demolished Eintracht 5-1. A big win considering Eintracht is a solid German club, currently ranked 4th in the Bundesliga.

I think Slot was trying to test certain things in his squad because his will he explain that he left out his best player in a match like this that he needed a win, remember the last time they played against Atletico Madrid, they bailed themselves out through a late winner. Both players are good quality players and goal scoring machines but I think it’s too early to predict anything now, this is just the second match day of the champions league and either of them might get injured or slow down in the future who knows but if they’re both fit I’ll put my money on Kane being that Bayern are in better position to go farther than Madrid this season cause people might say Madrid is doing well but I’m not yet convinced about that.
Then again Madrid might not play well but Mbappe scores most of her goals so it’ll be a tight choice and then there’s Erling Haaland that guy is something else he should be in every goal scoring chart discussion. If Pep can get his magic back he’ll dust these other two.

He is still a good goal machine at the moment since Xabi has decided to make either Vini or Mbappe the goal scorer, so Mbappe is given more opportunities, including as the penalty taker, because if we compare last season and this season, we can see that the difference lies in the fact that last season, Vini and Mbappe took turns as penalty takers, but this season, Mbappe is given the role.

This situation is similar to the target man role, where this season Vini has taken on more of a supporting role, which still provides good balance, especially in terms of goal-scoring productivity.
The match against Kairat with a big win is quite reasonable for me because, in terms of strength and condition, they are currently far apart. Additionally, Madrid also needs to improve their mentality after being beaten quite badly by Atletico, so with this result, I think it is enough to restore the mentality that was slightly disrupted last week in the domestic competition.

The match just ended, and Galatasaray claimed all 3 points, thanks to Victor Osimhen first half penalty goal that made Galatasaray record this historic win. Now Galatasaray is proving that they didn't spend huge amount on Victor Osimhen for nothing because he has helped them record their first win in the UCL. Liverpool was very clinical in the second half, and they created lots of chances but couldn't convert anyone because the defense of Galatasaray was so strong that they couldn't penetrate, if Galatasaray played this way against Eintracht Frankfurt, they wouldn't have lose with that huge goal difference but thanks to Atletico Madrid who whipped E. Frankfurt by 5:1 tonight, same score that E. Frankfurt won Galatasaray with in the first match, but Atletico has interceded on their behalf. Lol
