It still seems to me that the range of strengths is not so great as to single out Real Madrid and Bayern separately, at least Bayern, which, although better than the example of the last two years, is still very far from its best years. It seems to me that against at least Arsenal + Liverpool, Bayern will not be the favorite in the playoff games.

I can agree with you in the Champions League, because they have only managed to score 4 goals in 2 matches. Of these, they have scored 2 goals in each match. This season I would rather call them a balanced team than a defensive team. Although they had problems with their attack last season, this season this problem has been solved to some extent. Now they have a strong defense and a balanced attack, which can be a relief for them.
