You're right, your position in the domestic league side never determines what happens in the Champions League competition, rather it only gives you an edge over other opponent team to reason how tough you may become if they face you one on one. I get what you mean, but I’m still leaning toward Arsenal here. Atletico can definitely surprise anyone — that’s kind of their thing this season — but most of those big performances come at home. Away from Madrid, they just haven’t looked the same. In fact, they haven’t won a single away match since the start of the season across all competitions. Arsenal, on the other hand, are on a great run. Five straight wins, barely conceding, and the new signings have really settled into Arteta’s system. The Emirates has been a fortress too — the only team that managed to take points there this season was City.
