Barcelona are playing with their second-string squad. But even then we saw a very well-organized performance from the team in the first half. This is certainly commendable.

Rashford is playing as a replacement for Lewandowski. Flick has included 17-year-old Fernandez in the squad today. And Fernandez has proven his ability. He managed to provide one assist. Lopez scored both goals. We are seeing a better performance from Yamal. But Rashford is not showing the expected good performance. Hansi Flick was lacking in squad depth but still they manage to regain the team potential and capped such classical displays. In first half they were super dominant, like they scored 2 goals. Fermin Lopez was absolutely phenomenal, and also now in the second Yamal Jamal scored with a penalty to make the lead 3-1. Still it is quite extraordinary performance....ahh one more from Rashford. 80 minutes in, Barcelona is leading with 5 goals.

However, still some minutes are pending and Barcelona are just pushing hard to like they are just hunger for the lead. They want more goal. Let's see what happens next til 90 minutes

Such an amazing performance from Barcelona I was expecting a win from them but not with this margin they really put up a very good show this evening even with this squad they still manage to win with such incredible display, I think lamine yamal's return is indeed a massive one for the team and he really prove it and Marcus Rashford is already adapting to their pattern of play like he's really doing great work there, like off all the players that have left Manchester United this season he's one of the few that are doing absolutely great with their new team, him and Hojlund.

On socials the Arsenal and ATM match was mocked as a match for defense, Atl Madrid had also petition Uefa for traumatizing their players, after their training there was no availability of hot water to shower. Despite all the talk Arsenal has turned on the goals feast and are at the moment winning by four goals. It is not easy scoring a team like Atl Madrid four goals but Arsenal are doing this.
I believe if there was home and away fixtures Atl Madrid will repay Arsenal back by not providing them with hot shower.

Fermin Lopez really impressed me, and it looks like Barça is getting back in form. Honestly, I can’t wait to see El Clasico this weekend. I think it’s going to be a great match. What surprised me, though, is Napoli losing 3–1 to PSV. Napoli did come with a weakened squad, but this is unacceptable  they simply have to get back to their old form if they want to advance to the next stage of the UCL.

Goals, goal, and more goals everywhere and then you have Kairat and Pafos which I don't even know where on the map those teams are for playing in the same day in the same competition and doing a solid 0-0 just to probably destroy combo bets.

This round has shown that we don't need that many teams in the league with such differences, we need another knock-out before this!

Arsenal is currently running riots on Atletico Madrid right now, 4 goals in less than 15 minutes. Among all the goals, it's the second one I love the most and it's all thanks to Lewis-Skelly, the way he burst from his side of the pitch all through ATM's half before releasing the ball to Martinelli who curls in past Oblak. It was incredible from him for that assist because I so much love it. After that goal it wasn't long for the 3rd and 4th goal to get in. Atletico Madrid will be demoralised right now.

All the dramas that took place before this match will no longer be remembered after this game because Atletico Madrid losing by 4:0 wasn't expected due to their style of play but we can't say they were affected by the hot water that wasn't provided for them after their training because they had some time to rest after the training but in the game tonight ATM is not in their best. PSG are playing very well. If they keep this up, they'll make it to the final again. Manchester City finish their matches quickly without much effort. I also liked Inter. They gave up a lot of chances but didn't concede any goals. They scored goals from set pieces and transition play.

Psg are really in a good shap since there key players are back from injuring, and they have start to score back to back, Bayer Leverkusen are struggling in both the Champions League and the Bundesliga i don't think they can do anything this season. Psg are not playing easy game with them they are still hungry to score goals in the pitch. With how Psg are playing currently I think they will still get the opportunity to take the Champions League again back to back, they need to face bayern Munich and Real Madrid and Manchester City before I can believe if they can win the ucl this season or not.

I think no one expected this result in the end. After first half i was thinking maybe it would be goalless or something but Arsenal just destroyed Atletico Madrid in the second half. Fermín López scored a hat-trick today, Marcus Rashford scored a brace, and Lamine Yamal scored a brilliant penalty kick. I'm very impressed by this scoreline. Honestly, I'm very surprised by Fermín López goals today. This is why I always prefer him over Dani Olmo but he's good at utilizing his chances to score. I'm not trying to underestimate Dani Olmo, he's a good player but he lacks scoring ability.

Barcelona players really displayed a combative effort to trash Olympiakos by 6:1. Good to see Lamine Yamal after being absent for about a couple of matches as a result of injury. Thanks to Rashford for scoring a brace and to Fermín López he did a nice job by scoring a hat trick. I like the team work of Barcelona players in this match. For sure Fermín López is far better than Dani Olmo and there is no doubt about that.

Marcus Rashford is a great addition to Barcelona this season, as he's currently a key player in their frontline. I often wonder how his performance was at Manchester United that they were criticizing him like that, but I'm happy he's having the best time in Barcelona.

Looks like Marcus Rashford will be more useful in the Champions League games than the La Liga because he keeps performing better in the UCL than the domestic league. He loves Barcelona and he is very comfortable playing at the club which is why he is improving gradually.

Olympiacos started playing well, but they were hungry for goals in the second half. I expected them to hold their defense strong after scoring their first goal, but they didn't, which led to them conceding many goals. S. Hezze's red card significantly contributed to their weakness.

Had it been Olympiakos even played a defensive game after scoring in the second half it wouldn't have stopped Barcelona from scoring more goals. It was only the red card that i had compassion on Olympiakos because immediately they got that red card they became so porous and Barcelona did what they know how to do best and scored many goals.

That's one funny thing about football, goals can be scored in just 2 minutes to go, that's why one of the most interesting slogan of football is, it's not over until it's over. 4 goals from one team in less than 15 minutes against an ATM side that's so defensive. I must give it to Arsenal tonight, they really tried and to top it all, they exceeded my expectations. I was expecting a 1 - 1 draw or if there was going to be a win, then a 2 - 1 win for Arsenal. What a day it was.
The era of minimal wins and goalless draws is dead. Today we've seen 43 goals in 9 games, giving an average of 4.78 goal per game. This is crazy. I'm not sure if this is just a coincidence or a deliberate strategy by the clubs to take more risks and play more offensively. Either way, it's great for entertainment.

The match with the most goals was between Leverkusen and PSG (the current UCL champions). PSG won 7-2. Both teams got penalised with red cards in the first half.

I don't think tomorrow's round could bring similar number of goals, but let's wait and see.

The second half of the Arsenal-Atletico Madrid match was very enjoyable. Although the first half was a boring game to watch, the second half was completely different and enjoyable. Football is a truly interesting game. Because if Alvarez's amazing shot off the post had gone in, we might have seen a completely different match. Skelly's dribbling and Martinelli's shot for the second goal were fantastic. The match was worth watching just for that moment alone. I think Gyökeres has completely overcome his adjustment period with this match. We may see a more productive Arsenal from now on.

It was a general good performance by the bigger teams with the only big team that failed to win being Napoli. Arsenal, Manchester City, PSG, Barcelona and Borussia Dortmund all won their matches fair and square. I was only able to use Inter Milan, Borussia Dortmund and Manchester City to win a minor parlay which I bet casually. Assuming I had so much confidence in the game, I would have gone heavy on the bet. Tomorrow I'm looking at Bayern Munic, Chelsea and Real Madrid winning their matches.
