After Juventus lost their previous match against Como in the Serie A, i concluded that they will prepare so well against Real Madrid tonight and what we just saw in the first half is already a confirmation and i don't think that anything will change much in the second half. When i even checked their head-to-head, both teams have won each other 8 equal times so i won't be surprised if they end in a draw. Juventus defense is very solid today unlike in their first two champions league games where their defense was very porous. That's not to say Liverpool are a weak team, just that their recent form has been subpar and they've struggled to win games. This match was a good start to see Liverpool back to their best, but Frankfurt isn't the best benchmark for saying Liverpool have fully returned to their best form. Isak once again failed to deliver a strong performance in this match. He was replaced early in the second half by Federico Chiesa. However, this victory proved one thing, Liverpool can still comeback and improve their performance.

As of now, the 3rd round of league matches has concluded and only 5 teams have maintained their winning streak. PSG, Bayern Munich, Inter, Arsenal and Real Madrid have maintained their smooth runs, while Manchester City and Dortmund are also unbeaten. The 4th round of the league will begin in early November, with several big matches including PSG vs Bayern Munich and Liverpool vs Real Madrid.

In the other match I was actually a bit disappointed with Liverpool who missed early on but it seems like it just woke up a hungry lion because afterwards we could see that Liverpool really went on a rampage and this was their first win after a series of defeats in some of the competitions they had run before which of course I like.
With this result the standings in the league phase are still very interesting where the points are really very tight.
