Too many tight games tonight but I have to focus my attention on these two games the Benfica game against Madrid and the Monaco vs PSG, these two games looks like the finals in a different competition, the Monaco game is like a Ligue 1 fixture and I think it should be the most interesting game. For Benfica vs Madrid I would love to see what happened in the last league phase game where both teams gave their all to win that game but Benfica was victorious and they got the win in a big fashion where the goalkeeper scored the last goal, it was magical but tonight Madrid will keep a sharp eye to get the job done.

In the end Real Madrid prevailed, I'll just focus on what I saw.

Real Madrid won. But Mourinho made it very difficult for Madrid to win this match. Madrid only won 1-0. They made a lot of attacks, they were able to create a lot of opportunities. Even then they could not score more than one goal. But I'm happy because Madrid didn't concede any goals in the match.

Madrid will play at the Bernabeu in the next match. Undoubtedly, we will consider Madrid as the favorite. But if Madrid make any mistake, they are likely to lose. Because they have proved that Benfica is not weak as an opponent.

Benfica lost because Vini has out of this world gift, there was no strategy that made Real Madrid to beat Benfica it will have ended without goals if not for Vini jr created a goal out of nothing.

newcastle is crushing qarabag. after the first half ended 5-0, it was normal to expect the second half to be a bit calmer, but i still didn't expect so many goals in this match. qarabag, which finished the league stage in 22nd place, actually used its luck a bit by facing newcastle instead of psg, but now it seems impossible for them to win the tie.

The match between leverkusen and olympiacos is likely to be competitive. Leverkusen's performance has also been quite erratic  in recent times. So both teams have a chance to win.

Apparently, Bodo/Glimt has met big European teams during the League phase of the champions league games and they won some of the teams so don't we think that the unthinkable might happen tonight in that match? they played draw against Borussia Dortmund, won Manchester City and Atletico Madrid. Are we sure that Inter Milan will be different? though the only thing that made me not to think otherwise is due to the fact that they met a Serie A team namely Juventus and lost and Inter Milan is also a Serie A team so there is high chances that Bodo/Glimt might suffer same misfortune as they did when they met Juventus.

I think you meant they didn't allow them create much chance and not any chance because id they didn't create any chance there's no way they would have scored that one goal. Newcastle has seen  a team to unleash their anger on, just imagine, 6 goals in the first leg and away from home. Well most times after a match has produced so much goals in the first leg, I won't be expecting a similar thing again in the next leg as they have already secured qualification for the next round. In first halves of games, I have noticed that if a team scores lots of goals, in the second half, goals will be very scarce in the second, it's very common so I wouldn't blame them for not scoring more in the second half. It's a very good win for Newcastle, at least with this kind of score, we already know that they have qualified.

Newcastle was completely dominant in this game as it was a total disaster and demolishing of Qarabag. This is a humiliating defeat to Qarabag which has put up some nice results in the champions League especially in the last rounds of games that, made them to qualify for this playoff. Newcastle totally outplayed them as Qarabag looks disorganized and confused in this game. To me there is no need of the second leg because, this tie is over .

Bodo/Glimt have truly surprised everyone with their recent Champions League performances, beating the likes of Man City and Atletico. However, those were qualifying matches where the cost of a mistake isn't as high. Now that the knockout stages have begun, teams are approaching every game with total seriousness. Inter will be firing on all cylinders. Besides, they were last year’s Champions League finalists and are currently the frontrunners for the Scudetto. Therefore, Bodo/Glimt have very little chance of winning. The Norwegian side might surprise us with a draw, but in my opinion, that’s the absolute most Inter will allow them.

Juventus' performance was particularly poor, especially in the second half. Juventus struggled to contain Galatasaray's aggressive attacks. This was evident when a Juventus full-back received a red card for being unable to defend Galatasaray's winger. A heavy defeat to Galatasaray will make it difficult for Juventus to mount a comeback, as they would need to win 4-0. Therefore, Juventus' hopes of advancing to the Champions League round of 16 are slim.

Juventus' hopes of turning things around in the second leg are very slim and I think it's almost impossible. scoring four goals is no small feat. moreover, we know that Galatasaray is not a weak team. so I think Galatasaray is almost certain to advance from the play-offs.

I hope Inter Milan at least doesn't disappoint in today's match against Bodo/Glimt. because I think Inter Milan should be one of the Serie A representatives to advance to the next stage.

Juventus loss of concentration was what cost them the game, the took the lead at some point, after that moment I expected them to keep pressing on because if they had kept pressing Galatasaray wouldn't have had the chance to pressurise them. The defensive line of the Juventus side was one of the areas that Galatasaray capitalized on, they were performed below expectations, they couldn't even keep up with set pieces which seems like one of the strong holds of the Turkish champions.

To me there's nothing surprising about that lost because i already knew it win end that way, let's keep big names aside deep down Galatasaray seem more formidable than Juventus this season so what will actually make one believe Juventus could've won that game? The only thing that surprised me in that game wad the score line i didn't expect it that way in as much as i knew they will win i don't think of such humiliating result all the same i count it all joy because i got my prediction right, and every other games played as predicted by me.

The only English team left in the playoffs got themselves a golden ticket to the round of 16 in their first leg match at Azersun Arena. Newcastle game strategy was too superb for Qarabag players to understand and that made them clueless on what to do on the field.

I wonder what will be the outcome of the second leg match at St James Park where Newcastle have all the advantages to win the game, if possible score as many goals as they can. I didn't expect such a defeat. It looks similar to Juventus match yesterday.

I am not trying to cancel all your analysis but i hope you are watching the match live now because Bodo/Glimt has already scored Inter Milan in the first half, the score is 1:0 and with the pressure in this match i wouldn't be surprised if they score another goal. Inter Milan might get an equalizer or possibly make a comeback but to be honest with you, this team Bodo/Glimt has really marveled me with their performance so far because i don't think they are regular champions league teams but look how they are making big teams struggle against them, they really deserves some accolades because it's not easy to pull up this kind of challenge without minding the weight of the teams they are playing with.

In fact, it wasn't just Mourinho tactics that led to Madrid's narrow victory Benfica's goalkeeper performed brilliantly in this match making several saves. As usual, when Madrid are in a stalemate Vini always tries to find his own opportunities confusing the defense and scoring goals. Regarding his celebration, he didn't mean to be insulting it was just a goal celebration but Benfica players were provoked leading to racist chants.

Vini was truly excellent in this match and deserved to be named Man of the Match. This victory for Real Madrid is also crucial for maintaining their chances of qualifying for the next round especially when they play at the Bernabeu. We also know Mourinho received a red card, which means he won't be in charge of Benfica when they play at the Bernabeu.
