It's not easy indeed, but never underestimate Pep Guardiola, a coach with a wealth of tactical options and the ability to handle pressure. It's worth remembering that Manchester City once defeated Real Madrid 4-0 at the Etihad Stadium. I'm optimistic that Manchester City will stage a comeback in the second leg.
Yes, there are always surprises, and that might happen. They have that chance, and it seems this match will be very exciting. Remember at Bernabeu, Man City dominated possession; the only problem was poor finishing. This advantage might give Man City an opportunity. The key is that Man City must score quickly. This is a shock therapy for Madrid. If this works, then the next goals will be easier to score because surely the mentality of Madrid players will drop and they will face heavy pressure from the fans.

There is no doubt that Real Madrid performed excellently in this match. Even I am sure Madrid fans expected Madrid to play so well in this match. Valverde scored a hat-trick in the first half. At the same time, every attack of City was able to be blocked by Madrid's defenders. In the second half, Vini could not score from the penalty spot. If he had scored this goal, Madrid would have won 4-0.
I hope vini is being this much of a jerk only because he’s looking for a way out after the World Cup. Fine, you earned the penalty. But just hand the ball to Valverde and let the man complete his hat trick history. One goal more or less won't change anything for you... you're a forward, you'll score eventually. It was Valverde's night. If you’d stepped aside, everyone would have looked at you with pure respect...

I don't think it's due to resignation, maybe for some it could be that he plays badly because he's lost interest. But in the end, besides the thought of making a career, which is also a legitimate thought for a player, but if they get paid, why play badly? Like a worker who is normally paid, but at work doesn't pay because he wants to make a career, I see it as unfair.
Yes, it could be resignation, but what you said about the salary i don't think it's something that can be compared to anything, the tiredness is there but i don't think it can be compared to any other job, being privileged they shouldn't even think about doing something like that. I do agree that it is not about just giving up, because they may also be impacted by this as well. Not from UCL, they can lose UCL game and they will be fine either way. But on premier league if they do end up going down to championship then they are not going to be getting to a better team. Like that goalkeeper for example, after making that many mistakes and being taken out of the game, do you really think that he has any chance of getting offers from a better team? I really do not think so and he is probably going to spend rest of his career at teams that are not even as good as Spurs. So while they may look for a career, in order to do that they have to actually play good otherwise they are not going to get any offers from better teams. There are like maybe 2 players who could go to a better team.

Madrid is not a team that can be easily taken down like that. They may be ahead at the moment, but I doubt Man City can catch up on the goal difference from the first leg. If it is very possible to beat Madrid, I guess Man City might not chase the goal difference. The second leg will definitely show drama, but it is also possible that the match could be very surprising.

That is it, i don't know why people are just seeing the game like Manchester city are going to give Real Madrid flawless victory like the last time i checked Real Madrid still got some pretty good ballers that can still go head to head witj Manchester city despite Manchester city playing with their full squad, and again i don't even see anything so special about this Manchester city team because Manchester city is not really what they use to be because even the so called Manchester city are equally a struggling team for this season so why the so much chaos about this game?
People who say things like that are usually only looking at it from one side, without seeing the bigger picture of the history and experience of both teams. Of course, experience can give a big mental advantage, even when a team is dealing with a lot of injuries. I also agree with your point of view because even when City play with a full squad, they don’t look like the same team as before. Even Haaland hasn’t been performing that well. People who still compare City with Madrid should also realize that since KDB left, City’s performance has been a bit different.

Anything is possible, but I predict that the second leg match will not be difficult for Real Madrid because Real Madrid's team has a very high mentality when playing in the Champions League, and now they are already leading 3-0 on aggregate, which of course will make Real Madrid players play with full confidence. As for Man City, this season their overall strength is not that good, so it will be difficult for them to overcome a 3-goal deficit even when playing at their home.

If Manchester City come back from this score disadvantage it wouldn't be a surprise technically. Because they were already favourites to advance to quarter finals. The only surprise was to see them being destroyed just like that... Real Madrid didn't even have many of their main players. Especially in attacking line. Guardiola shouldn't be underrated anyway. At Etihad anything can happen. Real Madrid aren't very consistent with their game recently either.

Every club has their designated penalty takers, usually forwards, and since Valverde is a central midfielder, I think everything was handled correctly. Besides, before this match, Valverde had only scored three goals in the Champions League, and now he has six in this tournament. As for the penalty itself, in my opinion, Vinicius took it a bit too flashily, which is why Donnarumma saved it so easily.

There is a high tendency of the second leg between these two teams turning into a more competitive game. Manchester City are really not going to let their guard down so easily, and I think they’ll try everything possible to score those goals back, now that they’ll be playing from home unlike going away the last time. Manchester City are still going to be very much confidence of a comeback, one which will give them an edge if it ends well in their favour. This will not be as easy pass through for Real Madrid but I’m sure that they already have the upper chance here. I don't see any reason why Vinicius should have given the penalty to Valverde. Every club has their designated penalty takers, usually forwards, and since Valverde is a central midfielder, I think everything was handled correctly. Vinicius Junior was relaxed when taken that penalty, they were already leading with three goals, so he didn’t really put in the best of efforts in this game that could have turn the game around for them to increase the goal count. Vinicius Junior will regret not scoring that penalty more if they were not the ones leading in the game. The champions league is a game of great quality, the second leg ain’t going to be easy for either of the teams.

I agree with you that Manchester City should not be underestimated at the Etihad, as they already suffered a significant blow from their mistake of underestimating Madrid at the Bernabéu, simply because the Madrid squad was without Mbappé, Bellingham, or even Rodrygo who is Pep Guardiola counter, if you know. Regardless, Madrid leads 3-0, and in terms of chances they still have the better team. You know the mentality of the Madrid players when competing in this tournament. So, we just have to wait and see if a miracle will happen at the Etihad or if Lady Fortune will continue to favor Real Madrid.

Atletico De Madrid, Manchester City and Inter Milan have all been beaten by Bodo Glimt. Sporting losing 3 nil to Bodo Glimt was very much expected. Bodo Glimt will go far in the UEFEA Champions League this season, I'm quite sure about that. Bodo Glimt is an important team in the uefea champions League. They just know how to couple up with good games and winning big games. They're entirely bringing on one of the best features to the UEFEA Champions League this season. We have watch them perform the low and top level clubs.
I wont be surprised if Bodo Glimt win the champion league. How they play, the team work, the coach IQ, and their overall performance is superb. I regret not watching most of their matches in the UCL. Barcelona and Arsenal will have to take this team serious, to eliminate them when they get to the quater final. Any team that meets them in the quater final should eliminate them.

In as much as I wasn't too happy with the penalty miss, I can surely agree with your opinion on this. Every team has a designated penalty taker, except the penalty taker decides to hand the ball over to someone else. Moreover, Valverde was already on an Hat trick, so I guess that was why Vinicius didn't bother giving him the ball, and again, the sense of urgency to convert that penalty at all cost wasn't there probably because they were already 3nil up. If it was actually a goal difference, I don't think he would have attempted what he did because Donnaruma isn't that stupid to fall for easy kicks like that.

Bodø/Glimt have reached this stage thanks to their superb performance in home matches. You know how they beat all those teams there. They even beat Atletico and Inter away as well!
The teamwork is at peak level... After beating Sporting 3-0 they are so close to quarter finals too. Their potential opponent is Arsenal there. But I feel like that would be the point they say goodbye to the tournament.

I will not ignore this opinion because the fact is that Bodo Glimt is on a positive trend, beating Inter Milan, Manchester City, Atletico Madrid and Sporting is definitely an incredible achievement so it's not an exaggeration to say that anyone predicts they could reach the semi-finals or even the finals. but yeah it must be admitted the real challenge in the champions league is when they advance to the quarter finals because in this round they will face stronger and more experienced teams. Personally, I will continue to monitor this team in every upcoming match and maybe place some bets on both teams to score.

A player who is tactically reliable in a match when it comes to taking penalties does this. In that match between Real Madrid and Man City, Mbappe was absent and naturally Vinnie took the penalty shot but could not hit the target. This can happen and many good players can miss like this. Valverde played great in the last match but if Mbappe was there in this match then maybe he would have taken the penalty shot. But compared to Valverde who is a midfielder, Vinnie is a much more competent player and I think it is right for him to take the penalty shot.

Bodø/Glimt has managed to become the team I respect the most this season. Let's be honest, how many players in this team do we know by name or have heard of before? Despite this, they are very close to reaching the Champions League quarter-finals; I don't think there are any obstacles in their way. Nobody expects a team like that to win the championship or reach the semi-finals. There are really strong teams in the Champions League. But they have shown the whole world what they can do without having a huge squad. That's a great achievement

I'm a bit skeptical about Manchester City's ability to stage a comeback in the second leg, given their inconsistent form this season. Of course, Guardiola shouldn't be underestimated, but given the significant deficit and City's struggles to improve their form this season, it seems unlikely he'll overturn a 3-0 deficit in the second leg. Manchester City might be able to beat Real Madrid in the second leg, but a 4-0 victory is unlikely, as Real Madrid will certainly be looking to defend their first-leg victory. Let's see if Guardiola can find the right solution to stage a comeback in the second leg, as he's under immense pressure.

The second leg is City's home match. City might perform well and win. But it is very unlikely that they will win by 3 goals. Because Real Madrid is a very experienced team. Although their performance is inconsistent, the players are very talented. And after winning by 3 goals, Real Madrid will definitely play defensively in the second leg and try to draw the match. If a strong squad like Madrid plays defensively, it is a big challenge for any giant team to beat them. Madrid will qualify for the quarter-finals anyway.

I wont be surprised if Bodo Glimt win the champion league. How they play, the team work, the coach IQ, and their overall performance is superb. I regret not watching most of their matches in the UCL.
Bodo/Glimt are performing incredibly well, that's true. But I do not expect them to win the champions league. They will almost certainly qualify for the quarter-final s. They won the first leg against sporting 3-0 . But I do notthink the team will qualify for the final. Bodo/Glimt will probably face arsenal in the quarter-finals. And that's where Bodo/Glimt's champions league journey will end. But if Arsenal don't qualify, we might see Bodo/glimt in the semi-finals.

That's true because I wasn't expecting real madrid could win against manchester city considering their number of injured players. I was like, with the current squad on ground, manchester city will have a chance at the santiago bernabeu. Real Madrid was more than I expected and to be honest,I underestimated them. Valverde performance in the match isn't what I expected to see,he was incredible. If real madrid can play like this in the rematch, I think manchester city would be eliminated from the champions League. Real Madrid considering the number of injured players which is what you made me think, i have to say it was truly incredible, they certainly gave a performance that no one expected, now you have to say that they have to continue with this style of play, it's not easy to have this pace.
