If you look at Manchester City's performance which is still unstable, I am pessimistic that Manchester City will be able to make a comeback in the second leg, let alone equalize the aggregate score of 3:3. Arbeloa will apply the same tactics when playing in the second leg. That was most likely the most terrible horror match he has ever played in his career and it will either break him or make him grow into the sky. Just as you said, it's football and anything can happen. Manchester City can equalise in the second leg and even score while Real Madrid can still win more goals in the second leg so practically anything can happen especially in the champions League but best of luck to every team. I cannot agree less. The result will be surprising, especially for Barcelona. Not too long ago, Atletico Madrid scored Barcelona 4 goals without Barcelona responding during the Copa del Rey first leg. In the second leg, Barcelona came back to 3 goals, and if there were more time, Barcelona would have scored more goals to equalize it. Agreed, Madrid will likely be cautious in the second leg and try to minimize Manchester City chances of scoring too many goals. Their hard earned lead should alert Arbeloa to any defensive errors. Manchester City with Pep Guardiola can be able to equalize in the second leg but the possibility of such happening is slim to me giving the kind of game they played in the first leg with the Madrid. They had all the chances of matching with those guys strength to strength but they were unable to do much of this. I was never expecting Madrid will be able to beat them with three goals to none, what I was expecting instead was they were going to end in a draw or with a goal difference. Anything is possible, but as it stands Realmadrid has made it very easy for themselves, they can just go to Etihad, park the bus and counter them, it would be difficult for Manchester City to equalize three goal without conceding. Real Madrid should not just play low block and keep their players very dip with quick player at the front for counter attacks.
