Hmm, I'm a bit disappointed, watched the full resume, not the 3 minute goals and highlights..
To be honest, if we exclude mistakes, it wasn't that much of a difference as the score would make you believe, well they did play like crap but not the crap I expected after seeing the score, but it wasn't like the beating of their life time.

I'm going to stay away for the game for the second round, maybe an Atletico qualifying but not one the game itself.

True, I watched most of it and Tottenham wasn't that bad. I don't know if it was Atletico becoming sloppy because of that lead or whether Tottenham can actually play decent football. Their attacks were well played from time to time and without those mistakes, not sure how it would have ended. But frankly, coming back from a wave of mistakes like that is essentially impossible and the worst part for the goalkeeper is that this was not a Premier League game. Nobody would really care that much, but he destroyed Tottenham's dream to keep up the excitement for the season in any of the competitions.

Agreed, Madrid will likely be cautious in the second leg and try to minimize Manchester City chances of scoring too many goals. Their hard earned lead should alert Arbeloa to any defensive errors. If you look at Manchester City's performance which is still unstable, I am pessimistic that Manchester City will be able to make a comeback in the second leg, let alone equalize the aggregate score of 3:3. Arbeloa will apply the same tactics when playing in the second leg. Of course, with good experience in the Champions League, Real Madrid will not let Manchester City eliminate them in the round of 16. i was not happy with the performance of manchester city but what exactly can we do than wo wait and see if we still have a chance in the secound leg because that is the only way that we can meet up, and if we do that come back then everything is going to be crazy for sure and expect a lot of changes from this game because real madrid is not performing well in the la liga but they gave us a serious ass wopping and am not even putting my mind because i know we are not wining.

i love my club but the same time i know is going to be a very difficult one for them at this point because we can not even imagine that we are going to win the champions league it is not possible so it is even better to just drop at this point let everyone rest.

Manchester city can actually equalise the match second leg, it's what they can do, there are some clubs that 3-0 difference is like impossible for a come back, but in the situation of Manchester city they can actually come back, except real Madrid is really ready to play a total defensive game, because I think that will be their strategy for the next match to play more of defence.

Let's forget all this hype on Manchester City and face reality. Manchester City cannot score three goals without Real Madrid scoring any. Is like you don't want to accept the fact that City is not as good as few seasons back. You are still getting carried away with past records. There's this excellence and dominance Bayern Munich plays with, it is such that i do not think and believe Atlanta can match up with in the current time, they may be able to make an attempt but Bayern Munich like you rightly stated is not at the same level as they are, so we can be sure that Atlanta may have their journey ending here and we get to see Bayern Munich making it to the next round of the champions league.

The result of this match surprised everyone. It is true that atalanta's performance was somewhat  erratic. But so many goals they will admit it was completely unexpected. Also the match was held in Italy. They  conceded 6 goals in atalanta's home match. It was extremely disrespectful to Atalanta. However, I am sure Atalanta will lose in the  second leg as well. Valverde did back to back 3 goals in this match when it was need of the team and match match one sided because they were dominant in the whole game and Valverde did first goal at the 20 minutes of the match when other team was searching for goal . After 7 minutes he got a chance and he did this goal at 27 minutes of the match and got every opportunity which they got in this match. After few minutes he also did third goal in this match and he did this goal at 42 minutes of the match. The shots of that team were more in number and these were 11 in this match and 7 shots were on target and possession percentage of that team was 42 percent in this match and their passes were low in this match.

An injury to a key player or a red card can change the course of the game. We saw the blunders by Chelsea goalkeeper Filip Jørgensen, which affected the club's performance. The poor performance in the first leg do come with consequences, this is not happening because City ought to qualify to the next phase but they're not just doing it base on poor performance. Where's the hope? Why is everyone having this belief that Manchester City will do a comeback against Real Madrid at the Etihad stadium? This can not happen because Manchester City been the club hanging around for a possible win.

Pep Guardiola will not lose all hope and they will still fight because winning games comes with sacrifice and determination. This is not true and I think while it's of course very possible for City to lose and get knocked out after such a  first game, I would put it above 5% chance for them to continue. I would say there is at least a 30% chance for them to move on. Still a smaller chance, still the biggest chance is Real Madrid going further so there is no chance that we will see this change anytime soon.

For the time being and for that reason I think Real will still move on and there is no way to prove how much chance City has but that doesn't mean that we should not give them any possibility to move on.

Hahaha, you are right. Although I am not a Madrid fan, but it has to be said that manchester city is going to be eliminated from the champions league. If a miracle happens it is a different story. But it seems unrealistic to me that city will win  the second leg by 4 goals against a team like real madrid.

Madrid are perhaps a bit off form, their performances have been erratic. But  their performance is not weak. Today in the league schedule, both teams showed their quality, like in league competition Real Madrid just spotted a big win against Elche. Federico Valverde is another utility player that people rarely talk about and give the accolade he deserves. That guy is a monster of a player in any position that he is required to play. He has been a work of art in the modern style of football. He has the pace, shot power, strength and ability to torment the defensive line of his opponents. I am very sure Pep will find a way to isolate him in the return leg.
