The main problem of this Manchester City is because they are lacking the world class player that actually made a whole of things easier for them because now it seems as if they are currently stucked on creativity because this squad used to be a whole lot different with the likes of Kevin de bruyne, benardo silva, David silva and so many midfielders who can score goals and at the same time create marvelous chances that can make things happen when they are in a tight situation.

Yes this team is actually suffering from leaders like Kelvin De Bruyne, Gundogan too but David Silva has left long time ago and then Bernardo Silva is still in the team, I still think compare to other teams they still have whole lots of players who can stand up but yet again Pep Guardiola isn’t done yet with his experiment. Against Real Madrid he decided to go all out and leave only Rodri as the holding midfielder knowing fully well that Real Madrid more ball winners in the midfield than anywhere else. This is similar to what he did against Chelsea in the champions league final then when he played without any holding midfielder.

For the argument that top players from Manchester City are missing we can also say the Real Madrid team wasn’t what we used to see because their highest goal scorer isn’t there with few other key players that I bet will be starting if available. So there is no excuse actually

Federico Valverde is another utility player that people rarely talk about and give the accolade he deserves. That guy is a monster of a player in any position that he is required to play. He has been a work of art in the modern style of football. He has the pace, shot power, strength and ability to torment the defensive line of his opponents. I don't think Valverde is the only player Pep needs to be wary of, as Real Madrid's midfielders and wingers also need to be watched closely.

If Pep wants to have the potential to win in the second leg, he must ensure his players can effectively limit Real Madrid's midfield and wingers.

This will certainly hinder Real Madrid's attacking flow. However,, this won't be easy for Manchester City players, as Real Madrid will likely be more confident in their performance in the second leg, which will certainly make things difficult for Manchester City. Therefore, I think Pep must ensure his players don't concede a single goal and must be able to score more than 3 goals to win. But honestly, this is very difficult to make happen, but yes, Manchester City must not give up, because basically, as long as the ball is round,, anything can still happen.

Real madrid can still win at Etihad because the citizens are no longer the pep guardiola's team I am used to. Upon all the acquisition pep guardiola has made into this Manchester City team, they are seriously struggling to put away opponent like they uses to do in the past, that's why I believe that with what I saw in the first leg at that Santiago bernabéu, real Madrid can still win this Manchester City side if they comes out attacking or they play on the counter attack as they did in the first leg.

Most people were saying that it was more of arbeloa's tactics on the day, but I largely agree with that because the Manchester City side I know is very loose to any counter attacking team, and they plays perfectly well into the hands of real madrid at the Santiago bernabéu.

Anything can actually happen in the game because it is football but Manchester city scoring or outscoring Real Madrid will be something that always happens in dream because in dream everything is possible. With the level of Manchester city performance against Real Madrid and Westham yesterday, it is pretty clear that they can not make it to the next stage in this champions league because Real Madrid won't even joke with the advantage they have gotten already. I think so too. It's clear that the Man City players' mentality is very poor, especially after they failed to win their Premier League match this week against a bottom-of-the-table team. This will certainly make it even more difficult for them to turn things around against Real Madrid in the second leg, and I'm also convinced that's impossible.

I agree with you. From the Bodø defeat, something went slightly wrong. They managed to keep their cool for a few games after that, but as we've seen, things are starting to crumble. I can't believe that they managed to lose 3:0 against a not-so-great Real, and yesterday's performance against West Ham is super alarming. They will surely be out of the UCL soon, but I still don't think that a reduced schedule will help them bounce back to their form from the beginning of the EPL.

Contrary to what everyone feels, I still think that City has a chance. I do not know why I still think like that after the first game because first game Real Madrid literally dominated the game. But I still think that there is a good chance for City to come back from this.

I know that three goals is not easy to come back from and rarely ever happens at this stage, but if anyone can do it then it's City that can do it. Real Madrid has a lot of missing players and for that reason we are going to see them do a lot better on the long run. I think it's clear that City will play way more harder.

I'm not surprise that manchester city couldn't defeat real madrid at the santiago bernabeu because manchester city is no longer as strong they used to be. Manchester city used to be stronger when they key players were still complete at the club but ever since most of their key players leave the team, they are now depend on haaland, bernardo Silva and rodri. Manchester city couldn't perform well against because rodri and haaland were seriously marked and were not given any slight chance to perform. What real need to do make manchester city weak in the re match is to steadily attack haaland, Silva and rodri in the pitch and they would beat city.

But looking at the goals Real Madrid score from that first leg, I don't think there will be chance for Manchester City to equalize three goals and still add another goal to defeat Real Madrid in the second leg because Real Madrid players will not allow Manchester City forward players to have access to their goalpost because they know this UEFA champion League competition is very important to them and they are doing what will make people to believe that Real Madrid is cable to challenge other teams,  I know that some teams have equalized such goals before to move on to their next level, but as it stand Real Madrid is not a weak team to Manchester City, and it will be difficult for Manchester City to escape in the second leg no matter what they are going to employ in that second leg match.

I saw someone predicting Chelsea win against Paris Saint Germain in the return leg of the UEFA champions league i was like how possible is this, like it seems many has forgotten that Chelsea has lost form and can't face a team like Paris Saint Germain with this squad Paris Saint Germain are definitely beating them home and away no doubt, i tried to give him reasons of not staking on that bet but he seems to have known it all, but deep down that is a one hell of a risk because i don't see Chelsea getting a draw in that game but all the same i wish them the best of luck.

It's undeniable that the players brought in by Manchester City haven't been able to replace Kevin de Bruyne. This is evident in Manchester City's play, where their midfielders lack creativity in creating chances. Back when Kevin de Bruyne was around, Haaland was so sharp, pampered with his excellent passes. This season, Haaland's goal contribution has decreased because he hasn't received good passes from his midfielders. Therefore, Manchester City's performance this season has been inconsistent, and Guardiola must immediately find a way to restore the strong performance of previous seasons.
