Arsenal are truly quality and competitive enough in Champions League but to win this title, they need more than that but firstly and most importantly they must focus on themselves, try to play as same as how they performed in the last season, or better if they can improve and perform better, then they will have to wait for luck and destiny to see whether they can join the final match and can win it in this season.

Just as happened last season, when Liverpool were so convincing during the group stage and managed to advance directly to the round of 16 , only to be knocked out immediately afterwards following a defeat to PSG on penalties. So what happened to Liverpool could well happen to Arsenal too. Even though they’re  only facing Sporting Lisbon, but I don’t think Sporting is an opponent to be taken lightly. One thing that makes me  doubt Arsenal is that they have never once won the Champions League trophy,  so I don’t think Arsenal has the right kind of mentality when it comes to playing in crucial matches. If only they could get past Sporting, Arsenal would most likely still have to face  Barcelona, and I think that would be a very tough hurdle.

Same thing I thought, people are so confident like they are unbeatable they fail to understand that this is the champions league where you expect different performance from teams no matter how badly their form is so nothing is guaranteed yet until the game is played. We all saw how Manchester City were the favorites against struggling Real Madrid but they ended up losing to Real Madrid in a disgraceful manner. In matches like this where big teams face each other anything is likely to happen and form in their respective leagues don't matter much.

When i see people been this too sure, i just see only one thing through them, and that is them setting themselves up for some disappointment because football does not work that way, you will have to always keep room for an open mind regardless of how sure you think you are about a certain game fixture. It was still PSG that eliminated Liverpool out from the Champions League last season and here they're again facing each other in the quarter finals. PSG will do it again the second time back to back. This is a big challenge for Arnse Slot because he be able to resist defeat if possible. Last season, PSG eliminated them with a penalty shootout after a 1-1 draw home and away.

I think quite difficult for predicting the qualifying team at quarter final round match exactly the eight teams left as top teams, I remember well how Sporting Lisbon make comeback at knock out round after losing 3-0 at first leg but success winning over 5 goals at second leg match. Crucial matches Liverpool vs PSG and Real Madrid vs Bayern Munich but all quarter final round I think quite difficult for predicting because all teams want to qualify next round.

Against OPSG with the state of the team like Liverpool now is difficult for them unless they can really change what they already have, surprising PSG could be, but yes it takes a very big effort to do that, Arne Slot must have the courage for something new because PSG is not the same as Galatasaray which they have defeated in the previous round, PSG is very difficult to fight even by the strongest team from the English premier league this season so it's really like seeing the blindness when going to face PSG.

Apart from being unlucky you can see that a different manager handled them when they won the club world cup, i don't want to use that as an excuse but I think Maresca would've done better than this present coach and even though Chelsea still had still lost if Enzo Maresca was still in charge it won't had been 8-2. Maresca is by far better than this coach cause when he manages the team to play PSG they dominated the midfield and. got PSG players confused till they lost, it's something this coach can't relate with.

Maybe we get a shocker and Liverpool miraculously plays two perfect games. Only then can they beat this PSG side. Many times this season, PSG started on the wrong foot and somehow came back from 2 or 3 goals down to their advantage; so, Liverpool is definitely not safe, even if they somehow manage to win the first leg. But still, they will have their chances. PSG plays open, so there will be opportunities—you just need to realize them.
