That is exactly why I said that they need a perfect game to win in Paris; otherwise, it is not happening. I never underestimate the PSG team, especially this season after the 0:2 comeback against Monaco. As you said, PSG has its problems, but much fewer of them than Liverpool. I had high expectations from chelsea at the beginning of  the season. Because they were able to form a strong enough squad. But they were not able to perform as well as expected.

Their performance in the premier league is very irregular. They probably won't be able to stay in the top  5 of the points table. I honestly don't see a miracle in this game. PSG has been putting in more efforts in the UCL than in their league. And despite being chased by Lens, they're still look very much calm because it seems they're heavily focused in battling with the other side of the UCL arrangement. From what they played against Chelsea, they just showed that Chelsea were no match for them. And just like you said, both Chelsea and Liverpool are operating on a similar frequency this season, so I feel they are likely to get it hot from PSG in both legs.

One other crazy thing is that PSG are actually rescheduling their league games so as to have enough time to prepare for their UCL fixtures. This tactics is giving them an upper hand because it is clearly allowed in their league.

At the moment there is not even a certainty that Liverpool can get a victory against PSG. The current situation for Liverpool is not very good and this is still a problem even when we try to compare the performance of Liverpool and PSG this season the result is certainly much better PSG.

Maresca is fond of turning up in big games. Against big clubs Maresca hardly lose a match. I remember when Chelsea faced Arsenal with one man down, yet Arsenal couldn't win that game. Honestly, Liverpool have been performing poorly in away matches this season, not only in the Champions League but also in their domestic league. So, I don’t have much hope in Liverpool beating PSG in their home game.The highest performance I would expect from Liverpool, if they play their first leg against PSG, is a draw. Chelsea are not playing as they should and this is because they don’t have the right coach for the job, they’ve sacked the better man for the job and given it to the person who is not the best. Chelsea needs to level up in their game, because if they continue like this, they won’t get to any European competition by end of the season. That defeat was humiliating and no one expected that they’ll concede so much in this match. Enzo Maresca was better man for the job and they shouldn’t have sacked him and brought in the new coach, he has really made things worse for the team and make a joke out of the team in the champions league.
