On the other hand Liverpool loss was as expected but this defeat was particularly surprising because not a single one of them managed to register a shot on target.

Liverpool performance in the match was just so terrible, PSG completely dominated the match, they didn’t give Liverpool any opportunity in the match, how will a team like Liverpool play a match and they won’t be able to get even a shot on target, that’s really terrible, and they had just 3 shots in the match. I also don’t think there is any excuse about Barcelona been losing the match, they obviously missed many chances to win this match. They had many shot on target and unable to score anything in this match, this is not what we expected, I expected Barcelona to win this match because they are playing at home, but at the end they disappointed everyone.

In the second leg Atletico Madrid is going to make sure everywhere is tight for Barcelona to break through, they will give Barcelona much pressure because they will be playing at home and this is going to make it more difficult for Barcelona to win them.

Handi flick should do the needful in the second make sure every mistake is been corrected in the second leg, maybe Barcelona will surprise us.

Arbeloa is building a stronger team with a better squad gameplay, he didn’t find them in their best shape, it was a whole mess without any strategy. We have seen Real Madrid fight for any match against stronger teams and managed to win and do comebacks, but last couple seasons, that old soul seems dead.
I believe the whites are capable to win against Munich on the second leg even that it will be more difficult than the first leg. We all witnessed the chances missed by Mbappe and Vinicius, hopefully it won’t happen again.

In my opinion, Arbeloa is not building any strong team because since his arrival we have seen him lose against weak teams in the La Liga not to talk of the Champions League were they qualified through a playoff round. Am even seeing it that Alonso was better than Arbeloa because Alonso was in-charge of 28 games in all competitions and lost 5 games but Arbeloa is just in-charge of 19 games and has already lost 6 games in all competition. I don't know the point you are trying to make about Mbappe and Vini missing some chances because both players played against Mallorca in the La Liga but they still lost so it's just obvious that Arbeloa is not really doing much for the team.

I want to ask if the Cubarsi red card was really fair or something that wasn't meant to be given to him because aside from unintentional tackle but the impact wasn't serious for such card, simeone wasn't completely innocent of the incident even if he was the one affected because of were his leg was. however I didn't no that Cubarsi would leave the match and Barcelona starts losing, what if it was even real Madrid that means they could have conceded a lot. PSG played on an easy mode. they miss about ten goals every match just because they’re so obsessed with scoring something fantastic

You are correct, it was an easy mode for PSG just like playing against one of the weakest team in the Ligue 1...it had to happen that way since everyone knows how terrible Liverpool are this season, nothing productive whenever they attack and they don't have players who can stand in that CB and take any shot on goal, no player can do what Arsenal's Gabriel and Saliba are doing and tomorrow we'd hear that van Dijk is their best defender.
The only come back that will happen next week is Liverpool coming back home because I don't know if some of the players will show up next week, it will be another easy run for PSG. But currently they are getting excuses to give that they lost against Athletico Madrid because of the red card but with how I see the game both are playing well and you can't says Barcelona will win the game or not but with the red card as spoil the analysis but in the second leg we will see if Barcelona can get the opportunity to eliminate Athletico Madrid in the Champions League next week.

Real Madrid have hope more then Barcelona because they are losing by two goal and Madrid is just one goal different and Real Madrid can do everything possible to get the comeback because this is Champions League and Madrid don't used to play when is ucl competition. I remembered vividly someone mentioned Atletico Madrid considered as the weak club aside Sporting, if Atletico Madrid can play Barcelona 2 goals ahead gives a better chance compared to Arsenal or other club. I doubt who’s winning between the two club if they face head to head just because Arsenal is a top club, the match now is no longer predicted base on past performance rather Atletico Madrid is also a tough one besides Barcelona can’t equalize except Atletico Madrid fail to score more goals which is quite impossible although let’s watch out.
Bayern vs PSG is also a tough one if their opponent fail to win the second leg, this season Bayern has proven a lot basically their ability of defeating any club unlike previous seasons, the match is unpredictable and I don’t expect much from both teams obviously just one club has to win.

Would Athletico Madrid be able to withstand the attacking power of Barcelona with six men defense. The pressure might be too much which might make them to make some costly mistakes. For me, the ideal strategy  Diego Simone should adopt is attack. It id commonly said that the best form of defense is attack. Athletico just have two goals advantage. I would not suddenly forget the Copa del Rey semifinal second leg where Barca came close to having a draw after winning the match by three goals.  Athletico was lucky that they scored four goals in the first leg.

PSG - Arsenal will be a very fantastic and entertaining game. Both teams have the quality to get to the finals. However, I am supporting Arsenal to win the EPL and UEFA Champions League.

Still, Barcelona played very well in that match, even though they ultimately lost after being reduced to 10 men in the 44th minute. in the 17th minute Barcelona actually scored a goal, but unfortunately they were offside.

And perhaps if Alvarez’s free kick hadn’t gone in, Atlético madrid would have only managed to score one goal in that match. But I’m quite optimistic about the second leg; I think Barcelona will at least manage to level the aggregate score and might even take the match into extra time or a penalty shootout. Or I even think Barcelona could turn the tables, since Atlético Madrid actually struggled quite a bit in the first leg as well.

Meanwhile, Barcelona created many chances in the first leg. it’s just unfortunate that they truly failed to capitalize on every opportunity they had. And that’s quite disappointing. Usually, Barcelona has a good conversion rate when it comes to capitalizing on chances.

Their conversion rate is not good. It's poor, and it's one of the major complaints from fans.

I'm very sure the game could have gone in favour of Barca even with 10 men if Julian didn't score that goal. The hunt for at least a goal made them attack even more, and that eventually left their defense open, it  caused the second goal. They knew better that whenever their high line is broken, it always leaves a chance for the opponent to score.

Atletico had just 5 shots, 3 were on target and they scored 2, the third was saved by the GK. It shows how dangerous  it is when their highline gets  broken.

The red card really changed the whole dynamics of the game, and trailing 2goals down in a home match is really a steep price to pay, Barcelona are going to need a miracle if they are going to progress, plus now that there consistent centre half player, Cunarsi is going to be out for the second leg, that also prompts defensive issues for them.

For the PSG game, I really do think PSG is going to qualify for the next round regardless of the home advantage of Liverpool as the first leg showed how Supreme the PSG team is over Liverpool.

I don't really know if Real Madrid are going to go down easily but Bayern still looks like the favourite, we just have to wait and see.

What am I seeing??? Atletico Madrid is angry, a revenge for the last meeting against Barcelona. I can't believe this is happening at Spotify Camp Nou, and no thanks to the red card issued to Pau Cubarsí, Barcelona would know the importance of the guy in their team now. Just shortly after he was sent off, Atletico scored their first goal and Barcelona team has never remained the same. I don't think they can score a goal with the way things are going, let alone equalizing or even win the match again.

it is so disappointing that they have been kicked out of the champions league, I had doubts about this game but I had to remind myself that it is Barcelona the ultimate team with great players but unfortunately they failed a lot of footballs fans. Football is a game of passion and love, it's definitely the sport that unites people together. We support our various clubs and when we enter viewing center to watch football, there are arguments, agenda and togetherness of one another. I can't not even stand to imagine a world without football because it would be probably dead.

This season, its been really an amazing one and I know for sure that Atletico De Madrid wouldn't get eliminated from the UEFEA Champions League without putting up a fight against Barcelona. We know the level of rational forces of these clubs and their fans are very toxic interms of supporting their perspective clubs.

Terrible is an understatement. Maybe the club's too big for him? Is this how they plan to secure a UCL spot for themselves in the next round? Cause for this 25/26 session, they've lost hope. That’s what it means to be a fanatic, you don’t really want your rival in the local league to have any happy moments, either in the local or international leagues and you don’t shy away from making the most out of it.

So yeah, Barcelona and Real Madrid didn’t have the first leg they hoped for but, they’ve got the second leg to work that out and both teams have got some real chance at getting back in, most of all Barcelona because, beating Bayern Munich is no small feet.

Yeah, obviously the red card has changed the tempo. Initially Barcelona was absolutely phenomenal, like they press Atlatico Madrid so much and even at earlier moment Barcelona made so many great chances but unfortunately before halftime Cubarsi got sent off and at this point Barcelona feels bit hazzy in defensive approach and they even lost their hope due to one men down. After the half time break Barcelona took the starter and from here more distraction has been seen, like Hansi Flick switch off Pedri and Lewandowski, and definitely due to this Barcelona performance was bit sloppy at second half.

Besides that if we talked about the match, blaming them definitely it goes to the referee because he made a lot of mistakes, such as Cubarsi red card was unfair. In my opinion he deserves yellow card not a red because the ball didn't fall in front of Semion but unfortunately the referee give him a red card. Even Atlatico Madrid player made a clear hand ball in box but VAR didn't check it....
