Madrid's hopes are still there but for now it's very slim because apart from them playing away for the second leg, they also have to chase the aggregate and that's obviously not easy.

In terms of player strength it is still quite balanced but from club cooperation Bayern is still far superior. But if Madrid can take advantage of the opportunities they have, it is not impossible that they can comeback for the second leg match later.
In the first leg there were several chances that could have been goals including for 1 on 1 Vini with Neuer but because the finishing was not good so the opportunity was lost, if they can improve this then the chance will be a little bigger for me but as long as the scheme is the same and Madrid only always rely on Mbappe alone for finsihing problems then this will be difficult because surely the guard against Mbappe will be layered.

I do believe that Madrid can still do something against Bayern. Tuesday might be such a night. Or it could be an absolute disaster. They both seem equally possible.

Bayern in the Allianz Arena this season - 12 wins, 1 draw, 1 loss. They have over four goals per home match. Madrid require at least two goals away in Munich just to get extra time and they have to do it without their defensive midfielder. Barcelona are one unpredictable club so I also believe they can come back. The only problem will be to not misuse any chances they have that day if they want to make it to the semi final. I know Barcelona have done this kind of thing in the past that's why they are very confident about making the come back. I agree with you that Bayern Munich are not on the same level with real madrid this season because they have shown that they are very good, and against a top team like real madrid, they managed to win them at the Santiago bernabéu, which is not an easy task to carry out. So with their sound and convincing winning against saint Pauli, I believe that they are in a more better position to put this real madrid team to the sword if real madrid did not matches their intensity on and off the ball at the alliance arena.
