That's definitely a big loss for them because they had a great opportunity to actually make themselves get a trophy this season and they needed everything with a defeat although the game wasn't easy on them too seeing how they struggled to actually play the game in the normal time and then they proceeded to penalties which is a game for anybody and also for nobody.

Atletico Madrid still have a chance to win a trophy, they are in Semi final, all they have to do is defeat Arsenal and compete against whoever qualifies between PSG and Bayern Munich, with the tension in final, anything can happen, they might win the title if they play intensely.

I felt really bad when they lost the Copa del Rey, i trusted them to win the trophy, after defeating Barcelona for the final spot. Barcelona fans on the day of the final, would be really excited watching Atletico lose to Real Sociedad.

I feel that Arsenal as a team is up to the standard of winning the premier League yet for what ever reasons best known to them. Because I don't see the reason why a team like Arsenal who led the league with about a ten points gap at a particular point of the season is today struggling to maintain the top spot. I don't know what the problem that is with Arsenal for this type of performances that they keep giving up every season.

I don't even know what else to day about Arsenal because the last game they played against Manchester City after leading the league for time and they did the same thing over three seasons now and don't know if it is the mindset or something else but Arsenal players are declining in performance because the way the whole thing went down discouraging now and it is even becoming embarrassing to show that you an Arsenal fan because what have been happening over season is now looking like it is now happening again, and we are all getting tired of it.

One thing is clear about this Arsenal team and that is, Arsenal as a team lacks courage and the willingness to winning the league, which is a very big problem to me because every season Arsenal will start on a good note and end up second or third place in the league. There should be a shift if Arsenal is to win the league.

It is looking like Arsenal does not really don't want to win because they are not even showing the sign that they will not win anything this season and the whole thing is even shameful because every were you go too they are always making jokes about Arsenal and it is embarrassing and Arsenal is a big disappointment and I don't even know were we stand now and am full of regrets because Arteta needs to go because we ain't getting results.

I don't think so. Arsenal are so focused on the champions league this season, they want to prove themselves as champions. If Saka returns to the team, I believe arsenal will be much stronger and harder for opponents to predict. Atletico madrid cannot be underestimated because they are not particularly strong, But simeone strategy can make a difference on the pitch.

I do agree with you, Arsenal's performance has really declined, but I think it's too early to conclude a loss against Atletico Madrid,
It would have been a different case with Bayern or PSG, but in the case of Atletico Madrid, arsenal might survive but chances are slim,

There is no way Arteta wouldn't get them very prepared for such a match, and based on past witness I know how his reactions is in matches like this.

One thing why this champions league semi final fixtures are perfect to me is that the both side of the matches actually have clubs which we all have regarded as having same style of play. The PSG vs Bayern Munich is a game  between two clubs who are both excellent at keeping possession as they hold on to the ball. Also they both have a really pacey and fast attackers which they can easily turn a defensive position in the game into attack. So with both actually playing similar pattern I want to see which of the team actually keeps the ball more and in this game who sits at home to defend.

For the other two clubs it’s actually a game between two clubs that have been accused of not playing attractive football with Arsenal which is know for entertaining football hav,  under Arteta desperation for trophy this season  has made him start to play this Haram football with set piece one of his master piece to actually scrape a win. But the reason why this game will be interesting is because they will be up against a club which is know for a very long term to be a club that plays less of any thing entertaining football and as such let see how both will try to come ontop

Exactly Arsenal performance is absolutely hazy. Their recent performance are not showing any good indication, like they didn't even made any sense. On the other side if we look at Atlatico Madrid then probably they are far good than Arsenal and even after beating Barcelona make them more confident or super committed towards the title. Arsenal are just get worse and wores like if we look at the current performance of them in all competition then probably it wasn't too good like lose to many key match even lose two trophy and even their league race is still in danger because 3 point is the difference and Manchester City are pushing hard to get the top spot til end of the competition.....

So it is obvious that Arsenal are in bad toes and definitely Atlatico Madrid will banged them hard because they are in super brilliant performance especially after eliminating Barcelona in the quarterfinal stages. Let's see what happens next.

I think with their last performance against Manchester City, which is very much better than what they've played in their previous last 6 games before that very one, they definitely stand a good chance in making it to the finals. Of course, City won the game, but it wasn't as boring as the typical Arsenal game, because Arsenal actually came out to play something decent. If they can play something very good against Atletico, then I don't think they're going to struggle. Atletico Madrid has been really funny lately. Eliminated Barce from the Copa del Rey, but failed to win it despite being the favorite.

Psg Vs Bayern.   ( PSG)

Arsenal played very well against Manchester City in the last Premier League game even though they still lost the game, so I personally now have some more belief that we should be able to defeat Atletico Madrid and progress to the final of the Champions League after a very long time.

As for Bayern and PSG, it is still difficult guessing who is going to progress to the next round. Plenty attacking football will be played between the teams, hard to pick a winner.

What else does he plan to do for Arsenal after this year, if he stays as manager? They finished second for years, and this year they lost to Manchester City, so the same risk is present again. Also, if they get past the Champions League semi-final, they'll most likely lose in the final and finish second there as well. It seems Arsenal's fate is always to finish second.

My pick is Atletico Madrid vs Bayern Munich. The reason is pretty simple, Arsenal tends to disappoint in big matches and often loses its mentality when facing equally strong teams. Even in the previous round, Arsenal only got past Sporting by a narrow one goal aggregate, which kind of shows that mental fragility. So, that’s why I’m leaning toward Atletico vs Bayern for the final. The odds are really tempting.

For me it’s pretty much the same tbh. Atletico and Bayern looks like strong picks for the final. Because Arsenal is not really convincing lately, Atletico could definitely pull it off based on their form.
PSG vs Bayern is a bit tricky, but I would give it to Bayern.
