Don't get me wrong but almost everyone is happy tonight apart from the arsenal fans who lost this game, because with the stats and gameplay it clearly showed who deserved the trophy more and am glad that PSG found a way and got themselves back in the game because it was looking as if they aren't going to score because arsenal literally blocked and defended so well.

I feel really bad for Arsenal and fans, I've got some of them with me here and since the match ended with PSG becoming champions for the second in a row, they haven't been themselves, some of them are not online yet trying to escape the playful banter.

The final was Arsenal against the world, Chelsea and United fans are fan base that never wanted to see Arsenal progress, it was a good performance from Arsenal, but not enough to make them champions. Arsenal still has required squad to compete again next year for the Champions League, they should spend more on buying competent attackers.

This would have been the best season so far for the English teams, but Arsenal couldn't make it happen. However, I thought they would gain possession after scoring the goal, but it was even more tougher than how they started the game. Kudos to PSG for going back-to-back. It's not easy to lift champions League trophy, lifting it back-to-back is really the best performance from PSG so far. It was massive performance throughout the game.

What? game of luck and you thought Arsenal would have won the penalties? that sounds ridiculous! you should have said that because they have a good goalkeeper David Raya but all the same i praise Arsenal for not losing at full-time and not even in the extra time given but it was through penalty which everyone knows that when a match enters into penalty shootout, both teams has equal chances to win, it's no longer about which team has the best players or the best penalty takers. PSG won the UCL, they were the better team after all because they deserved it after all those display against Arsenal and some other big teams they met this season. They tried by winning it back to back but next season won't be easy for them anymore because any big team they meet will proffer a way to stop them. Lius Enrique has won a lot of trophies for PSG, he is one of the best coaches in the world, he should keep it up.

 When I saw Arsenal's lineup I was confused on what Arteta was trying to do but I later understood that he was trying to score first then defend all through but they couldn't cause PSG attackers were too good and committed their defense, i respect Arsenal for reaching the finals they really utilized their defense very well but luck wasn't on their side.

As much as we all know that Paris Saint Germaine were the favorites to win today's game, we can't shy away from the fact that Arsenal really played good football. They didn't create too many chances but they also stopped Paris Saint Germaine from creating goal scoring opportunities in the final third. The North London club rightly deserves to win but luck wasn't just on their side to win today's game. The entire Arsenal team will leave Hungary very disappointed with the result however, I think they should be proud of what they've achieved so far this season. They have the opportunity of winning it next season.

For a Kai goals in the 6 minutes it was surprise me but in the end they couldn't maintain the lead because of a mstake in the penalty box that made them who should have been comfortable with 1 goal instead had to feel a different fate at the end of the match.

Arsenal had already prepared well defensively for this match. They demonstrated this from the very first minutes, but the fact that they didn’t score and didn’t try to score more goals was always a negative for them. They missed numerous chances, particularly in the first half, and in the second half PSG attacked as much as they could and did everything in their power to win. Arsenal managed just one shot in the second half. PSG and Luis Enrique were undoubtedly the side that deserved the trophy.

If PSG goes into halftime with a lead, they will most likely win the trophy, but they’ll likely try to take long-range shots against Arsenal. We’ll find out today if their skillful play can lead them to the trophy. Frankly, an exciting match awaits us, and everyone is fully focused on this game. This is a good match Arsena tried her best to complete her task to win the match, the first half was the half where they were able to steal the victory, it's just that after winning they became like that which I think he made the wrong decision if he only focused on defending, in the end there was a foul that allowed PSG to take advantage of scoring a goal here, and as I thought that PSG would win this match, but the match score was really interesting showing that Arsenal was a tough opponent, well PSG just needs to win next season to be able to get 3 consecutive champions league wins, there seems to be the potential to beat Madrid.

The penalties were incredibly weak by Arsenal and the German commentary said that it is crazy because all those substitutions took the best strikers off the field. Well, as usual for penalties, they take place after 120 minutes, so if I were to prepare players for a penalty shootout, it is those players who you usually don't take penalties. Missing two penalties like that is reaaaallly bad. All this mess with delaying the run up and stuff (first penalty missed), just take the ball, take a few steps and hammer it onto the goal. Don't be too precise and the chance to hit is still 75% I guess. Missing the goal entirely is a nightmare.

You would have to agree it gets really tricky. Especially for a high stake game like the UCL finals. I even find the first spot kick to be a lot easier than the rest. The 3rd spot kick to be one of the most difficult ones to contain. When the first and second players have taken a particular direction and you’re left with the decision to change direction or go central. That’s why the PSG goalie was finding it difficult to choose a side and dive, just hanging about the middle, hoping someone places the ball very close to either sides of him.

Gabriel should have had it a lot easier than the rest, he knew he just had to score and could have tried his best to put it on target and with a lot of power. Let the power do the job even if the goalkeeper could have got something on it. Too bad it had to be him.

with Arteta Arsenal almost always focuses on defense. counterattacking isn't such a bad idea but when you have these counterattacks. when the whole team is only defending and not thinking about counterattacking you won't be able to score a second goal.

A quick look at the stats will confirm they had few chances. You can't expect to score 1 goal and sit deep from the first half in a final. Well, I'm biased because I always think the best defense is more offense. You need to outscore your opponents to win games.

I still don't understand you logic for saying this, if Arsenal where that good why didn't they win the match has at full time and they had to defend through to the penalty. That was actually the beginning of their problem, the moment PSG equalize the one goal  Arsenal  became skeptical and fell back to defense which was actual the cause of their problem. Perhaps that gave PSG more advantage to start pressurizing them which I believe that was the more reason PSG was able to withstand them till the end. I thought the same when three kicks went into the right corner, it is tough because everyone notices and the mind games become more complicated and induce more pressure overall.

Yet, what I would tell my guys in such a situation is to NOT be TOO precise. Don't go for the angle. Go for one side and then boom. It's fine if the keeper defends it, but missing the target is not worth it because all these players are good enough to not miss the target. I would take them the anxiety to not be too precise, rather go with 70% precision and maximum power.

We fully agree here. I saw the Champions League final Bayern against Chelsea live in the stadium. I know what it looks like when good players miss penalties under pressure. You remember the game when Bayern lost it in 2012? Oh my god it was terrible

If not for the penalty advantage PSG had to score their first goal, the game would have been so tough for PSG that I'm not sure they would have won, because after Arsenal's first goal it was very difficult since the defense was so strong that PSG couldn't penetrate Arsenal. Luck was never on the side of Arsenal because they played very well, and I'm very proud of Arsenal. Despite the fact that Arsenal was lucky to win the Champions League, their performance has shown they are really Champions League material, and I won't be surprised if they get to the Champions League finals next season. I like the fact that PSG looked pressured in the game, but they still managed to get through.

PSG saw nothing to play against Arsenal, Enrique was so confused about the next move to take on Arsenal. The ball was rigged, looking at how the second half started. Had the game left to be on a normal play ground, Arsenal would have ended up the winner. Also if you noticed how Enrique celebrated the win, you'd figure out that he knows he doesn't deserve the win.

Congratulation to Paris Saint-Germain for winning the Champions League again for consecutive times. I will just assume that Arsenal still have a little more time to win this trophy because at least they have tried for making it to the final and they did absolutely very well but with what I noticed in this game was that Arsenal's time has not come. Some people were saying that Arsenal only have one shot on terget which was their first goal I don't think that is a big issue because after scoring.

On the contrary, they tried coming out. Not how PSG didn’t have attempts when Arsenal were leading… they had a compact defense with everyone watching their lines while Havertz and Trossard where out there on the frontlines, starting the marking while the lines of defense where formed right behind them.
After the Dembele goal from a penalty kick, Arsenal tried coming out and the game was a lot more balanced, they had few attempts of their own that came to no use and PSG had far better attempts but, failed to get it on target or past the goalkeeper.

Arsenal later went back to defend towards the end of regular time, as though they were resolved for a draw, they got out but, couldn’t win the spot kick at the end of the day.

PSG gets to keep their trophy for one more season.
