Arsenal got the easier route on their way to the Uefa Champions League grand finals this year, I think the toughest opponent they played would be Atletico Madrid in the semi-finals. It was kind of unexpected to see Paris Saint-Germain dominating the whole game today especially since it is the grand finals and I was initially expecting to see an intense and exciting game between these two teams, but it seems that Paris Saint-Germain was clearly the better team to win the trophy this year even though Arsenal did tried to drag the game into a penalty shootout.

Despite conceding an early goal, they were impressive from start to finish. This was a big success for them. Things were never out of the way for them. In the second half, they made a few good chances and were able to bring themselves to level. This was good control of nerves. Here we can also appreciate Luis Enrique, who has done it once again for PSG.

Now with this win, PSG is surely entering into the elite clubs of Europe because this was one of the best wins for them at this level, and they did their job amazingly. While no doubt Arsenal was also at its best, luck was not with them, but they also have a good squad that can do this again, but they needed some changes to their attack.

Their own mistakes made them so their defensive approach made it easier for PSG players to dominate the final. In a final like last night Arsenal would have been better off playing their usual EPL game always displaying an attacking style. However in that final they seemed afraid to attack and preferred to counterattack. They rarely succeeded with only one goal scored, the result of their attack due to defensive errors made by PSG's lower line.
