In fact, many of their attacks were repeatedly thwarted by Arsenal’s defense. One mistake Arsenal made was relying too heavily on total defense. They only started attacking aggressively after PSG equalized. In fact, I think if Arsenal had played that way from the first half, they might have scored again. because PSG also sometimes let their guard down when constantly pressured.
In that match, the dominance shown by PSG didn’t make them look superior. It’s just that seeing Arsenal constantly defending made the match less exciting. but through that match, I realized that Arsenal and PSG are actually evenly matched in terms of strength. it’s just that they have their own ways of handling the game.

PSG ultimately made history. But Arsenal also did something great because they managed to reach the final after so long. Maybe next season they can try again.

Honestly, if Arsenal had won the trophy despite playing such a boring game, I would have felt bad for PSG. That’s why I’m happy with this result. As a final, it was a bit dull to watch, but Arteta has a pragmatic approach, he wants to achieve his objective by any means necessary. That's why it's difficult for me to criticize him for it.

Arsenal tried their best but things did not go well as they expected, PSG is very good team and now everyone will understand why many people believe that they can win the UCL again, after Arsenal score the early goal in the game they started playing a defensive game and that is one of the reason they lost the game, playing a defensive game against PSG that have good attackers is not a good idea and Arteta need to know that his style of play will affect Arsenal against teams that have a good attackers.

I strongly believe that PSG will still win the UCL tittle even if they go on a penalty because they have players that have a confidence of playing penalties and Arsenal did not have that kind of players, Arsenal will use this defeat as a lesson to sign good attackers not players like Saka, Madueke, Martinelli and Trossard that are not good enough to help the team.

Oleoleoleole!!!!! Come on PSG!!!!!! i knew you could do that. Finally, PSG is b2b UCL Champion. They deserve it by playing against a club that only rely upon parking bus & set piece. I'm watching the whole game, and i'm truly impressed with how they are never giving up till the end. I'm getting nervious when PSG lose the lead, but very happy with the heroic foul by Mosquera. 

PSG played with everything they have, and i think they deserve this win. PSG win means Arsenal banter for no UCL trophy is continue for another decade.
This proves that Enrique is in another level. He may break Zidane's record by winning UCL three times in a row. 

It’s all about banter now but the reality is that there is no luck in our side because we fought till the end but unfortunately, we weren’t lucky and we lost in the penalties.

Congratulations to PSG team in general, they win the Champions League back to back, and they deserve to win it same as Arsenal too, but just as I said, the luckiest team won the game.

Our season has come to an end with one trophy, it is something to be proud of and we can try again next season to win the Champions League.

I don't know why Gabriel was allowed to take the last penalty when he hardly score with his foot. He is only good with a header and almost all his goals that he has scored for Arsenal so far, was with a header. However, I feel that Mikel Arteta had other options he should've gone for in place of Gabriel for that last kick. Noni Madueke should have been a better option but if he wanted to go for a defender, There was Timber and Saliba to pick from. Gabriel is unarguably the best defender in England at the moment but when it comes to shooting, I don't see him as one who's technical enough. I predicted he'll miss immediately he stepped forward.

I think if there is one thing Arsenal need to work on next season is the ability to play the ball. They are good in defence no doubts, but not playing the ball is just too bad. They have to grow to hold possession too, that's one part of them that has died this era. If Arsenal controlled the game a bit, they would have won PSG in 90 mins. All they did was defend all through, and finally, the penality didn't favour them and they lost.

I believe this Arsenal team will go for it again next season, yea. It won't be like 20 years of history, hell no. Let's see how they improve next season

Yeah! The biggest mistake Arsenal made yesterday was being defensive from the beginning. I must admit they are going in doing that but you're unlikely to survive defending a goal with over 80 minutes to play for. When you are busy defending without attacking, you're indirectly inviting pressure upon yourself. I can't believe my eyes when all Arsenal players turn to defenders including Saka.

Despite Arsenal defeat yesterday, their efforts should be commended. This season is their best season since the coming of Arterta. They won the Premier League when we almost doubted them and reached the champions league final undefeated. Penalty is a game of luck but I earlier believed Arsenal won't make it if the game entered penalty shootout. Congratulations to PSG for defending the title.

It was an exciting final, and many would argue that when Arsenal won they were annoyed by their overly defensive approach. When Arsenal lost they felt they deserved it.

However, if we look at Arsenal UCL final against PSG it was clear that they dominated the match. They were comfortable because control isn't measured by possession, nor by the number of shots attempted. By control, I mean how Arsenal can force their opponents to play outside their comfort zone. They followed the flow Arsenal created and Arsenal did that throughout the final all the way to the penalty shootout.

Their decision to crowd the central area forced PSG to play wide. However, even though Arsenal lost on penalties they deserve credit, and Arsenal lost the final with their heads held high. Because in my opinion what Arsenal achieved this season especially in the final many predicted Arsenal would lose badly to PSG, but what happened was the opposite Arsenal managed to dampen PSG sharp attack.

Arsenal had low 24% possession but held the lead for 59 minutes. The ref was soft towards Arsenal because he could have given penalties to PSG for handballs. PSG were not dropping the desire to win the Champions League. Arsenal led the score for 59 minutes time but the efforts were empty. The Gunners fouled in the box so they gave the penalty. The Gunners should have lost before penalties because PSG were the best team. PSG are experts at getting wins from games.

I said as I was watching the match all my eye was at the possessions among the two teams, imagine Paris Saint-Germain possessions gone ahead the Arsenal's possessions very far, and I think this is one the lowest possessions I have ever seen in champions league final, well at least they tried their possible best to win this championships trophy but they weren't meant for it, Paris Saint-Germain has been waiting for this very day to come ever since they finished thier last match at semifinal, I know how consistency Paris Saint-Germain was or how well prepared they were against this particular match champions league final. Although it was Dembele that saved them from scoring the penalty, and could believe after they equalized the Arsenal all the Arsenal’s players were losing focus and thier game was disorganized as if they don't have hopes in winning anymore. Well congratulations to Paris Saint-Germain for this great achievement.

It was one of the lowest possession percent I have ever seen in any football game. Possession could be 70-30 in PL games because Man City, Man Utd and Arsenal take possession control against oppositions. Low possession in CL games is concession you are playing less football and more accepting in hope the team will make the other tired.

PSG were waiting for the final because the players were sure to beat Arsenal. Bayern was a solid test. After PSG beat them in the semi they wanted to beat the Gunners. Look at how Arsenal played they did not play like they were going to win. PSG were controlling possession before they got the penalty. PSG deserved to win.

But my bet was on PSG to win the title as soon as Arsenal had already scored 1 goal.

After Arsenal scoring goal at 5th minutes from Kai Harvetz make the match boring to watch because playing full defensive and PSG dominance the match but difficult scoring goal, I think its really bad final match of Champion League how Arsenal tactical full defensive since the early minutes. When PSG build up attacking all Arsenal players at defense area including Kai Harvetz playing as second striker for this match but he must go down to defensive area, I think difference result if Arsenal keep playing full offensive exactly after leading one goal at the early minutes.
Fatal mistake the tactical full defensive since the early minutes although Arsenal success leading 1-0 until first half match but not easily how to defense PSG attacking, I hope upcoming Champion League final match should be qualify the team have braveness playing full offensive and make the match more interested.
