There isn't a "huge" financial difference between clubs in Italy, but there is still some, like Inter is not paying same salary per year as Roma is paying, and if you remove Dybala, it is not even remotely close at that point. So we can safely say that while it is closer than some of the leagues, it's still not neck to neck between these clubs, and one should finish above the other if managed properly and in almost every season that is the case.

When a team has a lot more money than the other, you have to be terrible management to do badly. Juventus had that, after their 10 year run, they were managed terribly and now they are paying the price of that and trying to recover and do a lot better job in the future and go back to winning ways.

Pulisic's injury is reoccuring again, and Pavlovic seems also to miss the game too. What they can do to rely upon Fullkrug, which healthy enough to play. Meanwhile, their defense will have Bartesaghi and Odorgu.

Cagliari had a tight defense in this match, seeing that even though there were many missed opportunities and only one that they couldn't anticipate made them lose last night's match, AC Milan is certainly happy that their hard work has paid off, and is now at the top of the standings, they only need to wait for Inter Milan's match against Bologna, this result will determine whether AC Milan will stay at the top of the standings or not, Bologna is not too bad this season they can hold Inter if they want a draw, just playing at the San Siro is not the time to think like that for Bologna.

That is the trouble smaller teams have over the bigger teams, it's hard to do it for 90+ minutes a game. Cagliari played amazing defense for the first half, and to be fair except for the single goal, they played amazing defense for the second half as well.

But when you get scored on just once, either by talent or just pure luck sometimes, it's hard to climb back up above that. Milan had hard time, the defense they were playing against was great, but they got lucky with one goal and got away with a win.

While that is true, I never understood the historical reasons why they have to play on the same stadium. I get that they have done that for a long time, and as far as I remember they always played at the same place, sharing one stadium, that is fully understandable. But that never made sense to me, why? Not like location matters that much because these teams can have billion euro debts, look at Barcelona, they spent nearly a billion dollars to build a brand new stadium.

Because it will make them earn more on the long term. So Inter and Milan could play in different stadiums if you ask me, could buy up some houses and land near the current one and just build a second one and that would be better to personally own it, right?

If Adopo had been able to maximize that golden opportunity in the 30th minute with his header, it could have resulted in a goal, but he didn't have enough power to bounce the ball and it was easily saved by Mike Maignan. I think he will regret it until the end of the match and maybe even now. Rafael Leao became the savior for AC Milan with one goal in this match. I agree with you that if they had been given more time, they might have been able to hold on for a draw or even win the match. That is still very possible for Cagliari this season.

Honestly I was disappointed with juventus in this game, I lost my bet that the most painful part. A win for juventus would have put juventus at 3rd position, This was a game they are suppose to win very easily, they were playing at home and also dominated the game throughout, they created 6 big chances in this game, and also they were awarded a penalty which they failed to convert. Juventus have been a bit consistent before this game and everyone was expecting a big win from them but at then end they dropped a very costly points.

Regarding how competitive the league have been this season, dropping points like this might be something you will regret by the end of the season, well some big boys will play today, let see if they can extend their points away from juventus.

I didn't see the match, but let's just say that Juventus badly lost two points in this match! Especially since they were playing at home against a much weaker opponent!
Luciano Spalletti still has a lot of work to do if he wants to be successful at Juventus. At this rate, they might not even finish fourth.
Fortunately for them, Roma did even worse than them last night, losing to Atalanta.

Losing with bigger GD won't change the result. The most important thing is that Roma failed to bag three points. At the end Roma is just Roma, what they can do is only competing for the european spot instead of thinking how to win the league.

Juventus must be feeling horrible about this tie, with Roma losing their game against Atalanta as well, Juventus had a great chance to cement their fourth place easily but they failed to do so. Above them is still ahead a lot, even with 2 games missing total, Napoli and Inter are ahead, so they will be ahead even more, but Juventus has to fight for that fourth spot against Roma (and to some degree Como maybe) and with this tie, they failed. Roma did terrible but Juventus didn't utilized it.

Yes, they were able to defend well against Milan, but unfortunately, they weren't strong enough to put Milan under pressure by scoring goals. So, they lost by one goal to AC Milan.

Oh, and besides that, there were other match results.
Inter won against Bologna 3-1
Napoli won against Lazio 2-0 (both clubs received a player with a red card).

So, with these results, Inter is at the top of the Serie A standings, followed by AC Milan and Napoli again. The points are still very tight.
