First it was Glasner and now it's Amorim who is said to be very close to an agreement with Milan for the manager job.

This tweet came today by him so I guess this must be the updated news about Milan. Amorim and Glasner. Both are actually really good managers.

But signing a decent manager isn't enough by itself. They need a better lineup for next season. Is Leao leaving for certain?

It seems Milan much prefer to sign Amorim instead of Glasner. Glasner wants a guaranteed project from Milan. The problem is such project may cost Milan a lot while they're not good financially. So they're likely moving to the Amorim.
As per the update from some journalist, the talk between Milan and Amorim is still ongoing. I think we will see the outcome in the coming days.

On other hand Leao is deciding to leave. He's keen for a new challenge. So it's likely he's leaving from the club in summer.

Well there is a difference between Chelsea and Milan because Chelsea is now run by new management unlike Milan. The club need to do better, they need to make these fans happy, they need to bring in quality to put Milan back to where we know them to be.

Well bringing in Ruben Amorim will bring in new hope around the fans and the club but then they need to give him the right players if they really want his project to work well. I know their aspiration for next season will be to get a champions league football and to get at least a league cup. I really hope Amorim can change around things in Milan next season.

Joining the league phase of the Champions League is so valuable for Como no matter how their journey end there. Because we should take a fact into account that they will make lots of money just for joining and playing matches.

They can make their finances better even if they don't manage to get past the phase. But I really like Como's game to be honest. They could do surprising things despite the inexperience there.

While it is of course amazing for Como to join UCL, that is not just one time thing that they need, they need to now turn this into a consistent thing.

It will be very difficult for them to reach to top four once again next season, and on top of what they already had, they are going to also reach UCL games as well, minimum eight games, that will tire them out even more and could cause some more points dropped during the league, so it is not going to be an easy season for them for sure.

As far as I’m concerned, Amorim will go the same way as his predecessors; he’ll be lucky if he’s still Milan’s manager by December.
Milan have got it wrong so far and keep making the same mistake by thinking the problem lies with the manager! But in reality, the problem lies with the squad; they’ll have to make radical changes and invest in the future.

It's not the solution to change another coach, another coach
the solution is to change your mentality, to play for a long period and not in a 3-month window.

Yup, AC Milan will not be better than last season i believe that. We know, look like AC Milan very hard to get coach, this is not because the club is wrong, but there is other thing more influential which is management. If Milan management don't have desire to bring Milan better, then any coach will not willing to accept an offer to be a coach for AC Milan. The only solution is bring coach who have same ambition with management, which is money is important than a title.

Yes, what makes me think is his inexperience, but if COMO manages to handle the pressure that's coming his way and has much more desire than he showed before, then he's at that level. That's how it is, believing that they can do it. All teams have a chance, and COMO earned it. Besides, he left elite teams behind, and that has its own recognition. Not everyone can achieve that, and that's something that's appealing. Personally, this is the best thing that can happen to a good team, and everyone deserves this opportunity. COMO earned it.

I do agree that we are seeing how things could be changing, there isn't really anything Amorim could do to help Milan because first of all he has shown that he wasn't that much of a great manager that turns bad clubs into better clubs, even after he left Sporting did alright, and United was bad, and not entirely his fault, but he didn't made a bad United turn into good United like Carrick did. So a bad Milan won't be good Milan thanks to him. And that's the second point, Milan is bad, they are not good, and with a bad team combined with a bad manager, it will not be great.

Keeping this level isn't easy for a team outside top contenders in the Serie A. But this doesn't mean that I'm expecting Como to go down from top 4 for certain.

I believe in Fabregas' system. He only needs to keep a player group who is fitting his system for next season. After that I'm just saying wait and see.

If you are talking about Como's inexperience in the Champions League yes that is another thing. But Fabregas is a really capable manager despite managing his first team at this level.

We’re in for a treat with the usual comments from Milan fans this summer! ‘We’ll win the Scudetto’ and blah blah blah – then by December they’ve already given up on all their targets, because, as you say, changing the manager every six months isn’t the best solution! I would have kept Massimiliano Allegri on for at least another two years to build a more competitive team; then we could have taken stock of which targets had been achieved and which still needed to be met.

Not that many teams consistently go to UCL, in fact even big teams do not, look at Juventus and Milan now, Juventus did last year, now they won't, and Milan failed to do it for a while. So if Como fails next season, that won't be really shocking, that would be expected result and wouldn't be a problem. I think it is clear that we are going to end up with Como failing, because they never played this many games before and famously UCL tires players out so badly that club ends up doing badly on their leagues most of the time and Como will probably do that.

For me I was really disappointed by how they ended the season, a champions league football should have been gained by them. Maybe that was the reason why Allegri was sacked at the end, the board were furious with how the season ended.

Now with Amorim I just really hope the board support him with the right players, they should give him what he ask for and maybe Milan will be game next season.

Amorim would actually fit Ac Milan for a couple of season but without great transfer , he won't be able to make this squad fight for Serie A title and most likely they will have to fight for top 4 for a chance at UCL and even top 4 is not assured as Roma , Juventus , Atalanta , Como are all having great squads who could win Seria A.
