They are facing opponents who are no longer simple Italian opponents but rather very strong teams participating in a very difficult tournament.

We’re in for a treat with the usual comments from Milan fans this summer! ‘We’ll win the Scudetto’ and blah blah blah – then by December they’ve already given up on all their targets, because, as you say, changing the manager every six months isn’t the best solution! I would have kept Massimiliano Allegri on for at least another two years to build a more competitive team; then we could have taken stock of which targets had been achieved and which still needed to be met.

I was just about to say this. Now that Como is part of the biggest tournament, they have to behave like a big team do and that is to do squad reinforcements. Being in the UCL this new season will be so useful because it would be additional spotlight to the team as there are quality players in other teams that don't have first team shirt. They can now see Como as a suitable club to goto given their UCL participation in the coming season.

Getting new set of players to solidify the team is the best thing to do but we don't know their financial strength to begin with and since the news of Real Madrid being interested in one of their best players they could accept the deal to use his money to sign few players I don't know how possible it will be for them. Como will be in the champions League and they will also need to defend their position in the league the best thing for them to do now is to give their manager Fabregas the go ahead to sign quality players now that some players will be attracted to the team because of the promotion they have achieved.

At the moment I don't see how Juventus can achieve great results with such an attack, the man who played the game, the one who finishes, is missing and I would also strengthen the midfield.
The golden age seems to be in decline, where Juventus possessed truly great talent and was a feared team both in the league and at European level. But with these players and these performances, I doubt they'll have a return to their former glory in the short term.
