Galatasaray is now one goal down and the time is not looking too good for them to get a come back into the game. I know they did not play their best tonight, probably because of their second leg champions league match against Juventus who already sacrificed their Italian Serie A match this weekend for the sake of facing Galatasaray. Okan Buruk would have adopted this method tonight because losing this winnable match will make Fenerbahçe meet them at 55 points apiece and Galatasaray will only remain at the top of the league by goal difference. This is definitely not good for them. They have advantage over Juventus and they can hold them to a draw and still progress in the champions league while ensuring they won their match tonight to continue chasing the league title.

If they were aiming to focus on the second leg match with Juventus, Galatasaray would also not be wise to sacrifice this match, because Fenerbahce has not much of a difference, this is really the wrong decision if that is the goal, however, in the Champions League against Juventus they don't need to worry because previously they had many goals that were difficult for Juventus to chase, they can definitely secure the second leg.

This Galatasaray loss to me somehow came as a surprise, although it did not bring them down from the top of the table but they are now just three points away from the second position team. They would have been six points away if they had won this but football happened, the disallowed goal may have affected their psychology somehow but I cannot tell exactly, hopefully this losss is because of the importance placed on the UCL fixture because if it is not, then it is a huge flop on Galatasarays side.

Oh wow, they do have a fixture with Juventus huh, I didn’t put that in consideration. Drew my lot with them and they shit me in the bag real good. They’ve being very consistent especially, since the AFCON with VO9 back to the team and so, this ought to have being one of those walkover games for Galatasaray but, they greatly did undermine their play for the Juventus fixture.
Juventus haven’t been in good form and certainly it’s game they can win with little effort.

Galatasaray were really disappointing today, you know i didn't expect them to win because i bet on both teams to score but unfortunately Galatasaray didn't do it lol, and yeah this defeat also makes Galatasaray position in the standings really unsafe Fenerbahçe can catch up on points if they win their 23 match because they are only 3 points behind. Yeah this season the Turkish league looks more intense because it is not dominated by one team and we can't be sure who will lift the trophy. Fenerbahçe will play at home in their next match there should be no reason to miss a point moreover, they still hold an unbeaten record.
