i think fenerbahçe is really pushing its luck. they're done with the europa league, they're now a team focused solely on the league, and they're only just beating samsunspor, who are also juggling the conference league, in the final minutes. i don't know how many times this scenario has played out this season. but if fenerbahçe keeps this up, they won't manage to score a last-minute goal in one of those matches where the same situation occurs, and they'll probably suffer their first defeat then.

somehow, the game always stretches long enough for fenerbahçe. we saw the same thing in the kasımpaşa match, where kasımpaşa also scored a last-minute goal. they're a really lucky team, but i don't know how long that will last.

The game was a tough one, and there could have been a lot more cards if you ask me. Both teams played a bit hard and tackles were rough, so only one red card was a bit weird and could have been at least 3 by the end.

I checked that there are five Fenerbahçe players injured, which will significantly impact their performance in the next few matches, as some of them will be able to play on April 1st, but even that's uncertain. Luckily, in their next two matches (before April) they'll face easy opponents, so they should be able to overcome them even if they can't play their main strengths, and I think with their current situation, focusing solely on the Turkish league, they pose a more real threat to Galatasaray.

Their problem this season has been lack of consistency, and if they can address that by being consistent between now to the end of the season, there is possibility of emerging champions at the end of the season, but first they need to learn how to claim all three point even when they are not in their best form, since it's very difficult to be classy all season.


It's just four points that separate them and Galatasaray, a glimpse of hope is still there, but they need to play their  part by winning all their available games remaining and hope for a slip up from Galatasaray.

In my opinion, Fenerbahçe has no chance of winning the Turkish league. If my memory serves me right, there have already been two times this season when they only needed to beat a weak opponent to have the same points as Galatasaray, and they simply drew, benefiting Galatasaray. In other words, even if Galatasaray lost two consecutive games, Fenerbahçe would find a way to draw both of them. This way, there's no hope for Fenerbahçe. For me, they are fighting to finish the league in second place without any losses.

it was another match this season where Fenerbahçe somehow managed a comeback. case. Fenerbahçe won but they were really awful even the players looked like they didn't believe they’d win they were playing with that little spirit...

Onuachu is really putting in a fantastic performance this season. There are rumors in the press that Saudi Arabian team Al Ahli will sign him at the end of the season. Trabzonspor defeated Kayserispor 3–1 away from home.
I don’t think it was an easy win. Even though Kayserispor went down to 10 men in the 8th minute, they were still effective in attack and managed to score one goal.
Trabzonspor took a total of 18 shots, with 5 on target.
Kayserispor had 14 shots, 6 of them on target.
I didn’t expect them to create this many chances after the red card.
But in the end, Trabzonspor won the match and finished the week without dropping points.

I was wondering why you said struggled to win when you knew Samsunspor is a tough opponent, Fenerbahce played well at the end it was a hard fought comeback but I still don’t see them overtaking Galatasaray anytime soon, though they’re more competitive now than last season but they still lack some things and Galatasaray are not giving up that position for anyone maybe next season.

Paul Onuachu continues his goal scoring streak with two more goals today and he might win the golden boot for the league with the way he’s going.

We finally managed to win a match in the league after a 2-week break. But I was so nervous during the whole match. Because once again we couldn't play well in the first half and made things very difficult for us.

I was losing my faith but somehow we made the comeback in the last minutes. However I just don't want to watch our matches in this way. We are struggling a lot.

One of the main reasons is not having a reliable striker. Cherif started to contribute to the score of course but still a 19-year-old player shouldn't be relied upon for winning matches for the championship.
