Of yesterday's games, I ended up losing a multiple bet because of the draw in the Porto game. How could they let a goal slip through their fingers in the final minutes of the match? The best defense in the league failed in that aspect and cost not only my bet, but many others as well.

Porto drew at home; it was a very close game. Honestly, I thought Porto would win. They scored their second goal in the 90+1 minute and were winning; their victory seemed almost certain, but Famalicão scored the equalizer in the 90+9 minute. The funny thing about this game is that Porto scored first, in the first half. It really seemed like it would be an easy win for Porto; I thought so too. But I must say that Famalicão is a strong team; they don't give up, they are well-organized in attack. Their goal in the 54th minute of the second half showed that.

Even now I can't stop laughing every time I remember how the Porto players celebrated when they scored their second goal in the 90+1 minute. They were so convinced they had won, then they all went back to defend, it seemed like they were desperate, and even so, Famalicão managed to score and the game ended in a draw.

I think it would be very difficult to repeat what Ajax did last season. Porto just didn't had such big lead like Ajax. And despite yesterday's result I wouldn't say that Porto perfromance is declining. After all. they dropped points not against bottom table team. When Porto scored on 90+1 minute I already thought it's over, but Famalicao had different opinion.

Yes, unfortunately Porto ruined my bet as well. They only needed a win to secure odds of 3. But this defeat, which was even scored in the last minute, could cost them dearly in this final stretch.

Porto really messed up those who bet on them to win because it was difficult to think that they won't win Famalicao and since Porto was playing at home it gave bettors more trust, but they settled on a score of 2:2. Today is another heartbreaking result involving Benfica who should have won Casa Pia, but they also ended in a 1:1 draw. Sporting Lisbon still has a match to play, if they win, the gap between them and Porto will be 2 points only then if Porto loses 3 points and Sporting wins it means that Porto will lose the top of the table to Sporting Lisbon.

Porto refuses to secure the first post and this is the 4th points they missed in the last four games. It is not good to keep missing points at the end of the season while you barely have a narrow gap..
Benfica also refuses to enter the UEFA Champions League spot and prefer staying third. Technically, they are safe in the third place but they could pick the second one if they stay consistent.
Sporting is advancing quite well until now whether in the league or Champions League. We will see how they will perform in the upcoming matches.

Benfica failed to beat Casa Pia, who are in 16th place in the league, practically in the relegation zone
Benfica missed a great opportunity to close the gap on Porto and Sporting, and now the difference is 7 points

Porto were lucky to get a draw, at least with that result they might still be on course for the title race pending on what the point difference may look like after the other teams have played their games. I know sporting will close in on Porto a bit after the draw they had against famalicao over the weekend and it seems like there might be a very close race between whoever is going to lift the title and the runners up as a result of the flip flop by the league leaders Porto and sporting too who still have a game in hand to close the gap.

Now the season already enters into the last few rounds; it's always a challenging time for teams to hold their nerve. The same happens in these games struggling teams are trying to have points that can give them a chance of survival. Casa Pia steals important points that bring them on level with Nacional.

Benfica is trying to have the second spot, but now it's looking not easy for them. Sporting is currently the best team in the league, while Porto is also facing problems, but still this fight is going to be balanced till the last game of this season, but the trio is still strong enough to secure top spots without any serious challenge.
Braga needs some effort to keep their fourth spot. Famalicão is having an impressive time, but they are still missing while Gil Vicente is inconsistent. They are not able to hold things and have something for the top spots.

It was another day of surprises. We saw Porto draw at home against Famalicão. Benfica also drew another game, with a very weak performance. Sporting, however, won their match.

For the next round, I'm very hesitant to bet on a winner. If the best teams in the league aren't managing to close out their own games, imagine what's happening at the bottom of the table. But for Friday's game, I'm going with Famalicão to win and over 1.5 goals.
