And Victor Osimhen just double the score with assist from Ademola Lookman. Although, no team can be underrated when it comes to tournament like this but this is a must win match for Nigeria. Considering how Nigeria has been playing from the group stage conceding goal in every match played in the group stage, I wasn't at peace being one goal ahead because our defence is not reliable but since we are two goals ahead now before the half time, we can at least have some relief. I hope we can win this match with a cleansheet for the first time in this year AFCON.

Well guy the super eagles guys really made my day honestly speaking when I such their at some point i was wondering if they could win the game completely but it came to an end with a good result for the super eagles guys all thank to their hard work and experience not even minding what there are passing through from the NFF this show that there are the bigger boys, Ademola Lookman was really on top of his best shoots today this shows that they are perfectly capable to win the game for this season, well but on a second thought this happened last years when the super eagles made us believe in them well at the end it was a rig game…

Nigeria getting an easy win against Mozambique doesn't mean they are stronger than other big teams that found it difficult before they could win their opponents in the round of 16. Let us be plane here, Nigeria played against the weakest and the most mediocre of them all that qualified for the round of 16. If Nigeria can replicate same fighting spirit against their next opponents in the quarter finals then i will have to applaud their bravery but for this win against Mozambique, there's nothing really special about the win.

Doesn't mean we are stronger, but our players delivered as we wanted to watch out, already in the first minutes of the game, we scored one goal which was canceled for an offside, only from there, i understood we took this match seriously and winning is assured.

Mozambique is a weak team, however it does not change the fact that we did not lose to them, we ended the match without conceding, which is all we wanted, to reduce how we concede goals even against a team that we shouldn't concede from, i hope our next fixture is as successful as this one.

In the last AFCON, the super eagles also played very well, but they did not win it. Playing well is a requirement to win the competition, but that is not all. Some teams play very well but still end up loosing the chance to win the competition because in games that mattered most, they could not win.

This match will be an easy one for Nigeria, I'm very confident that Nigeria will win the match and I'm using a good amount from my discretionary income to bet on this match, anyone who is also planning on betting on this match should give Nigeria to win

There are no easy matches, the Super Eagles should not have that mindset, they should come out and play to win, taking the game as seriously as they would if their opponent is a team stronger than they are or equally matched.

Congratulations to the Super Eagles for the two wonderful goals scored by Lookman and Osimhen who have just scored two goals making it three shortly after the second half, from all indications we might end up with a 5 goals to none before the end of this match. Sometimes if these Super Eagle players come to give you joy, the way they will make you happy and smiling ehn, you will love to watch their games some more but my challenge with them is they can asl fumble in the same breathe, they can ruin their efforts when it is time for them to slack again and you will forever hate supporting them at the first place.

We have to support the team whether they are winning or losing, they are representing our country and today is a day to be very proud of the Super Eagles. The front line was on fire today and the defence were not even troubled by the Mozambique team. Despite the financial promises the Mozambique team received from their nation it was not enough for them to cause the Super Eagles any problems. Akor, lookMan and Osimhen were really on fire today. The super eagles are really making us proud by maintaining their unbeaten run. Let any nation come in the next round we are ready.

Nigeria was quite outstanding in that game. I believed they could come out with the win in that game but I didn't envisage that number of goals. After the round of 16 so far Nigeria has been among the few team to show this so much domination over their opponent. Morocco against Tanzania was hard for the tournament host and they managed to score only one, Cameroon did not play better than South Africa but they won, today Egypt went to extra time with Benin.

I can't remember the last time the Super Eagles of Nigeria was as convincing with their performance as they've been in the ongoing CAF African Cup Of Nations. In the four games they've played so far, they've been able to score 12 goals akd has won all. To an extent, Eric Chelle has proved a lot of us who didn't believe I'm him wrong, I just hope he'll be able to continue with what we've seen so far till the end of the tournament because I really want to see Nigeria crowned as African champions again.

Since when Nigeria won Benin in the world cup qualifier matches, they haven't been able to win with a clean sheet but today they won by a 4:0 clean sheet which shows that Éric Sékou Chelle actually worked on the defense. I commend Victor Osimhen for scoring a brace, Ademola Lookman for the 2 assists and to Akor Adams for the 2 assists and the goal he scored, it was a confirmed team cooperation. Hope they perform likewise in their next match in the quarter finals and shouldn't give room for any flops. We might have seen Mozambique as a small team but teams like Cameroon and Ivory Coast struggled to win them so we should praise the Super Eagles for the masterclass performance they displayed.

Very true Nigeria performed very well today and they prove to everyone that they are capable of lifting the cup, I thought they will score Nigeria and I bet on it Goal Goal which means both teams will score but it has failed me. Congratulations to Nigeria, lookman is actually back his doing very well in this competition right now his the best player in the Nigerian team. Victor osimhen is also doing a very wonderful job he scored today too as expected always, his the goal machine that Nigeria has in their team and he always delivers. Ademola Lookman, Iwobi, and Osimhen seem to be combining well. I hope Osimhen has not messed that up with the very unproffessional attitude towards Lookman for not passing the ball that one time to him. Osimhen needs to get his attitude in check; that is not the attitude a world-class striker of his caliber should be having. No big team will want that in their dressing room.

I don't know if it was this forum or the other one that someone said Osimhen cannot captain the Super Eagles, and I tend to agree with that statement. Osimhen is hotheaded, and his attitude was unprofessional. The three goals he has scored in the tournament, it was Lookman who set him up, and he didn't need to react that way because Lookman failed to pass to him. Even after the match, he couldn't wait to exchange greetings with his teammates, opponents, and match officials. He just walked straight into the dressing room. Clearly, he's still angry, and that's really bad.

Mozambique made it a very easy game for Nigeria, this was just a stroll in the park else, how would they come to a game and not get a single corner kick or a shot on target or even off target. It was a very poor performance from Mozambique which makes me ask just how did they get this far in the competition. They made Nigeria look superb even though, I know the boys have being at the top of their games of late. They were extra ordinary today and anything they did worked.

The thing is i am yet to see Eric Chelle praises and I believe that as long as there are criticism whenever he fails the celebrations should also be as loud as that too but no we will wait until he fumbles. If you look at this Nigeria national team since his take over we can see intent and not only do we rely on individual brilliance like before in most tournaments we have a team now that can play very good football without actually depending on a particular player.

Right from this man’s players selection to not using only Osimhen as a lone striker but rather came upon with the new boy Akor Adams you can see the difference or point that the manger is trying to make. Yesterday it was actually reported that most journalists were barred from the training session of the eagles and many were calling for his head but he is actually looking to take away distractions from the team and frankly speaking I think he is the manager that I think we needed for long time even though we are not fully there yet but this is a great start to a new chapter

Egypt won their match against Benin with a final score of 3-1. It was a pretty intense game, where both national teams went on the attack and even scored goals in the second half. But luck wasn't on Benin's side in after extra time, where they got crushed by Mo Salah and his teammates. On the other hand Nigeria crushed Mozambique with a score of 4-0, where Nigeria completely dominated the match. And Nigeria scored two goals in the first half and two more in the second half. Egypt and Nigeria have successfully advanced to the quarterfinals. Tonight there are two matches that will also determine which national teams will advance to the next quarterfinals. Algeria will face Congo. Ivory Coast will face Burkina Faso. I personally find it very difficult to predict the outcomes of these two matches. But I will try my luck with Algeria and even Ivory Coast. What are your thoughts?

Honestly I am a bit skeptical about the Super Eagle's performance against the next stage of the quarterfinals especially if they have to face the Egyptian guys with Mo Salah in the game, we have to be very serious with ourselves and Osimhen and Lookman needs to work hand in hand to achieve this. I am very confident and optimistic about our guys but they also need to work hard to gain our support the more. Egypt won't be ready to lose to any team. The Super Eagle guys can get strong one minute and weak the other once they feel they've lost the grip or when they get too comfortable with winning like they did yesterday. With the way the Mozambique defense was weak and the goalkeeper was a total mess, Nigerians would have won more goals if they were not relaxed at some ppoint.

It is a big win situation and big congratulations to all Nigeria players yesterday against Mozambique, and currently Nigeria has been victorious over there matches, yes Nigeria really start to dominate from the first half of game by scoring two goals and which the team add more two goals in the second half of game and looking at Mozambique team they are not that tough side team but if Nigeria continues to o play as team with what I'm seeing they will surely end in a better position to reach final of the African Cup of Nations.
