Only the NFF know the reason why they gave the super eagles job to Eric Chelle and from the beginning of the recruitment process that brought this coach in I personally know that there was going to be problems, because the process was not transparent because this coach was clearly handpicked by some poor full members of the NFF because there were other better qualified coaches that applied for this job.

Expecting a good result from Eric Chelle as the super eagles head coach is a waste of time and energy because nothing good can come out of him because the teams decisions are not made by him but from the NFF to officials that knows nothing about football but are there to enrich themselves with the funds meant for the teams development. In as much as Nigeria football is still associated with political interference their won't be room for  selection by merit but by godfatherism except for the few players all fans are expecting to see

You guys should call me back when NFF is reformed, until then the Super Eagles would begin to reclaim their glory days again as one of the strongest African nation, the system of the NFF is so corrupt and it's affecting everyone including the players. Until it's reformed our players would struggle and won't give us the result that we the spectators demand.

Galatasary is one team that I have seen that are local champions because because they have been dominant when it comes to the Turkish super league but when it comes to Europe they have not impressed I think that with the quality of Victor oshimen he went to the wrong club because Victor oshimen can't be competing in Europe favoritily with clubs like Galatasary.


Victor oshimen should leave Galatasary when the transfer season opens because Galatasaray does not fit the caliber of a player like Victor oshimen, because I didn't expect that Galatasary should lose by a wide margin like that against Frankfurt that lost a game prior to the champions League.

It didn't take long for this player to get used to life in Turkey as we have seen that he has always performed impeccably for the Galatasaray football club. It's true that Geltasaray doesn't fit the qualifications of a player like this prominent Nigerian player. He previously joined the Turkish league on a season-long loan but now it appears he has made a permanent move to the club.

However the Turkish league team recently lost by a large margin to Frankfurt in a UEFA Champions League match. It may be true that this team is the champion of the Turkish Super League but Victor Osimhen should revive the team's spirit after such a performance against the Bundesliga club in the new season's UEFA Champions League.

I also didn't have much trust for him but I thought maybe he would be able to make things a bit better. The problem might not really be from the coach alone, I just have a feeling that the final decision is not made by the coaches alone and they can't make decisions on their own that's why we still experience this poor performance. To get better they just have to get to the root of the problem and tackle it once and for all.

Some supporters think that the NFF can undergo change if it has the appropriate leadership. You might want to support initiatives to reform the NFF or encourage accountability and openness.

That is a different discussion and i am aware of that. What you said was that he was fired by the NFF, which was wrong, and then you bring up this. Yes, the NFF owed Jose Poseiro, but the backlog was cleared and he was paid in full. I also do not know on what criteria you came to the conclusion that Nigeria treats their managers in the worst possible way.

I am not saying everything is right in the NFF and i think a lot of changes need to happen if we don't qualify for the WC, but we do the best we can for our managers. Jose Poseiro was earning $70k monthly, how many African countries pay their managers that much, or do you only look for the negatives.

No, I'm also neutral on our football but it's difficult to not talk about NFF; corruption has eaten deep into that organization and it goes on and on.

G. Rohr got sacked in 2019 and NFF settled his 3 months backlog in 2021, Stephen Keshi outstanding salaries and bonuses were paid after his death or should we talk about Samson Siasia? Sunday Oliseh? Abi Augustine Eguavoen treatments? All our past coaches were maltreated.

This is the same corruption, I believe is scaring away the ex-players from going close to NFF. The last time I listened to Taribo West, he did not speak well of the NFF, and he said he would never allow his son to return to the country, not to talk of playing for the country. He lamented over the ill treatment meted out to the late Peter Rufais' family during their hard times seeking government aid for support, even till the burial, the government did not do anything, and truly, if the government and NFF had done something for the late Rufais family, it would have been online and over the internet to say.  As for the NFF elections, corruption still exists there. Looking at the process, it is done. The same pattern that the real politicians do, they do the same, no credibility, transparency, etc

My national team super eagles are not doing very well and the major reason why this is happening is because of bad leadership if we have good leadership in the NFF Nigeria super eagles we play very well, there are a lot of things that need to be changed but because of bad leadership they are not being changed they have been left the way it is, we have good players in Nigeria especially in the Nigerian League why can't they select players from this league and add them to the super eagles players in order to increase the form of the national team, I believe with the in statement of JJ okocha as the NFF chairman the Nigerian national team which is the super eagles we do more better and improve in all way round I believe as someone who has been a player of the super eagles he knows exactly the problem of the super eagles and I believe he will solve it we need the super eagles that we used to know in the days of JJ okocha.

I don't even know any of the NFF personnels and I strongly believed non of the ex players which was popular that we know is there. The last time I witnessed that management was 2016 which the former president appointed someone who is not a sportsmanship to lead the institution as a minister and that is where the problem is always coming from because when someone who was not sport person. Then the team workers will be like him and only few will be sportsmen.
So such organization will not do well.

There can be difference with one player on the pitch or without the player, but the goals was too many for Galatasaray to counter even if they had osimhen in the team. Judging over the matter won't change anything, there are still seven more matches to play, if they can't make top eight for automatic qualification, 9-24 position should be the target.

Osimhen will be featured in the next match against a tough opponent, Liverpool and in the home of Galatasaray. Liverpool won 3-2 against Atletico Madrid, i don't know what to assume for Galatasaray since they are not competent enough, Osimhen in the team is additional boost, can they make it without similar outcome as the Frankfurt match.

I agree with you that it would have been different if Victor Osimhen had featured in that Champions League match. Galatasaray's strikers were not clinical that was why many chances were wasted. The Turkish side dominated in the match but failed to score goals. Victor is aggressive and can maximise even slight chances but the injury sidelined him. His influence is also felt in the Super Eagles, making the bluntness of our attacks more obvious when he is absent.

I don’t even know what the super eagle problem is right now, even with the players they have, the team performance keeps on getting worst, and I just have the feelings that they don’t even know how to fix their current problem, maybe they know what to do, but they don’t just want to do the right thing, and that’s why their performance just keeps on getting worst. The players they have are always performing better in their clubs, why are they not always performing well when they are playing for their country.
