In my betting slip, I have 4 games and  Uruguay has win their games with a cash out of N4,500 but I will not cash out and my only fear is Nigeria. If they draw that game they would cut my slip. They have been doing well since the beginning of the game the only problem is the issue of not converting their chances to score goals, our captain converted the penalty to keep us ahead with 1 goal but that's not enough for this beautiful performance they are putting up here in this game, they are dominating the game in everything they have a total of 14 shots already and 9 shots on target we expect them to score more goals to crown all their good performance in the game.
Osimhen is doing well though it's unfortunate that his supposed goal didn't hit the back of the net but we expect more from him and seeing that Chukwueze has also been introduced let's see if he can make his runs to give us a wonderful cross that could lead to goals.

I applaud them for trying to score two goals but I don't think it's enough for them to feel so relaxed, I checked a bookie before the game started and the odd that was given to Lesotho against Nigeria shows that the bookies favour Nigeria to score more goals, about 3 to 4 cause they're aware that the super eagles squad and form is far better than Lesotho's.

 However i wonder why they struggled to score in the first half, managed to score the first goal with penalty and struggled to score the second one afterwards then relaxed like its over when they've made it more easier to qualify by putting more goals in the opponents box, the Super Eagles need to try harder cause their best so far is not enough.

My brother this result felt like losing to be frank with you. I can't remember the last time I watched Nigeria match and feel happy at the end of the day, it's always ending with a bitter feelings. What pain me the most was that Lesotho goal was an avoidable one but I didn't know what happened with Nwabali and his defenders that made them put us in a difficult position as this. I can't remember the last time Nigeria won a football match with a score margin of 3 goals without conceding. Now we have to win the group leader with 3:0 in our next match to stand a chance of qualifying for the world cup. To tell you the truth, I don't see that happening.

The first half ends in a draw for the Super Eagles, and what I can see in this game is that the strategy of our coach and the Super Eagles is for the long balls to continue being played into the Lesotho penalty box with the expectation that either Osimhen or Tolu can get a header on to the ball. That strategy has not worked in this first half, and perhaps the coach may need to adjust some things because if they go into the second half with the same pattern, this game will not end desirably for the Super Eagles.

Lesotho have been very disciplined defending, and Nigeria have been disappointing.

There was broad changes in the second half after the first half deadlock Nigeria came into the second half scoring 2 goals in a row and Lesotho reacted with 1 goal from a goalkeeping error which wasn't supposed to happen in such a critical game. I think one area of weakness from the Super Eagles is in the poor communication in the yard box by the defenders,., Eric has to address that going to the next game.

Of course the super Eagles final game against Benin Republic will be a tough one, however as a Nigerian I want to be hopeful that the super Eagles will win that encounter, as that will place them on 17 points in the group same thing with the group leaders, but my reservation with the super Eagles style of play especially in this Lesotho encounter is the fact that they have a lot defensive errors, they also lack creative midfielders that could be exceptional, Wilfred Ndidi is quite good but he's more of a defensive midfielder and not too much of a creative midfielder, iwobi needs someone more Sharper to play with on that midfield. The super Eagles attack is not doing too bad, what i identify as a problem is the fact that they don't have too much of creative midfielders.

We can't beat Benin Republic and even if we do we can't score that much goals against them cause they'd be coming for a point in that game. They will sit back and try to manage the game. It's over.

The performance of Nigeria today was not expected, everyone had in mind that Nigeria is going to win Lesotho with more than 3 goals, because in the history this tournament super eagles has been performing well, but Lesotho haven't recorded one winning or 1 goal, that's why I can't recommend the performance of super eagles, I wasn't expecting 1 goal from Lesotho

Do you know that if super eagle perform like this with Benin, it's obvious that Benin will defeat them, they should change performance if not they can't they will lose their match between Benin, I think Benin is next in line to play with the super eagles.

Even though the Super Eagles later won Lesotho in the second half, they didn't play like people who are in a difficult situation. I was thinking the Super Eagles would defeat Lesotho with at least 3 goals difference so that if they want to use the total number of goals each team scored to determine the team that will qualify for the World Cup, Nigeria will have a good chance. The Super Eagles hopes are not lost yet; if they can win against Benin and South Africa lose or draw, they will still qualify.

The Nigerian super eagles had more opportunity to score more goals but they didn't, Nigeria played very well and had more ball possession in the match but scoring goal was a very big problem for them I'm happy that they won the match but I'm not really please with them because even if they qualify and play this kind of football in the world cup they will not get to anywhere and they will be disqualified, towards the end of the match I was just scared because Nigeria defense was not strong and they can score Nigeria at any time.
Those that watch the match saw what happened in the last minute where did Nigeria goalkeeper and the defender would have caused a goal if not that the ball did not enter the net no one would have stopped it that is a very big mistake from the goalkeeper, I know he's a very good goalkeeper but he made a very big mistake in that ball I'm happy the nally did not enter the net.
Right now Nigeria have more hope of qualifying for the world cup they just need to win their next match with a very good goal difference so it will help them qualify.

This is really a very tight situation for every country in the group, Lesotho are very close to South Africa and even play their home matches in South Africa so the atmosphere wasn't conducive for Nigeria, I knew this game will be a bit difficult and I was surprised when Nigeria went two goal up.
Alot still needs to be done to the team, personally the Nigerian coach needs to be replaced after the world cup qualifiers is over because he has no tactics at all for the team .
