This Ivory Coast and Gabon group is so dope that even 23 and 22 points hasn't yet guaranteed you an automatic ticket in the upcoming world cup. The group is so competitive amongst these two teams that non of them has qualified yet. Seychelles just came to distribute points to other teams there because so far after 9 matches, they have accumulated zero points and conceded 44 goals in 9 games, which means they are averaging 4.8 goals negative in every match.

They just conceded a very silly goal and the Lesotho are back into the game. We needed that goal to increase our goal difference.

I don't know if Nwabali was playing for or against Nigeria. It was a very silly goal to concede. I wouldn't say I'm satisfied with the players performance, but they did their part to score two goals, and he almost cost them the three points. If I were Eric Chelle, I would relegate him to the bench. He does not deserve to be the first-choice goalkeeper.

Even though it was because of Nwabali's silly mistake that Lesotho used to score a goal against the Super Eagles and put the Super Eagles in a difficult situation, I won't blame Nwabali if the Super Eagles fail to qualify for the World Cup because of the goal they conceded against Lesotho, because the Super Eagles were supposed to score at least 4 goals before Lesotho could have scored one goal. You have suddenly forgotten all the good deeds Nwabali has done for us;  just because of this one mistake Nwabali made, you already believe he doesn't deserve to be our first choice goalkeeper.

Nigeria yesterday didn’t have a good game I must confess, after having their 2 goals lead, you can see how relaxed they became on the pitch and conceived some cheap goals out of a cheap mistake. They were lucky to have escaped with all 3 points else, Lesotho would have found their way back in.

But Nigeria winning Benin Republic in their last game is possible because they won them in the AFCON qualifiers. Nigeria fucked up in their first games. The coaches didn't try and the players didn't do well.
Even this last game they played.was not encouraging fans. Let see what they will do in the last game in the Qualifiers stage on Tuesday.

Although the teams in that group are weak to be compared to Ivory coast and Gabon which made them appeared with such flying colour but the question here is what will there performance look like if they make it to the world cup at last, beating teams filled with low quality players and inexperienced coach looks easy what if they meet stronger teams in the continent, can they do same to them also that is where attention should be channelled to now because they have crossed the red sea already

I watched the game because I had bet on Nigeria's victory. I confess that before the game, I had no doubt that Nigeria would win. But during the game, I began to question my choice and what the hell I was watching. It didn't seem like those Nigerian players played in the best leagues. They played very poorly. Their defense was a disaster worse than my country's national team, whose players don't reach the same level as Nigeria's players. I honestly wondered if this current Nigeria coach were to be retained and Nigeria managed to miraculously reach the World Cup, how many goals would this Nigerian team concede? 10 goals? I don't see good things coming from this current coach if Nigeria qualifies for the World Cup.

Seriously competitive than were our country is in the question of point because in Nigeria group the highest in point is 17 but on this posted one they quite have a lot of point but if we now break it on the performance sense, super eagles is much in a tougher group than Ivory Coast and Gabon because the last in super eagles group can go to the Ivory Coast group and beat a lot of countries there but the Ivory Coast group cannot see any chance in the other group except Ivory Coast and Gabon mainly because is only the two that's strong as I think, so that's why they got this point.

I also doubt this coach ability to perform well at the world cup if the super eagles finally qualifies. I have been wondering this for long and to be frank I have also asked myself this question, the team has well recognised international stars playing for big European teams and are doing perfectly well so what is happening here at the national team. Is it the coach lapses or what because the performance of the players is a reflection of the coach input so what he has is what he is offering and it is not enough to boost the moral of the team. Meaning he is likely not competent enough to take the players to world cup looking at their performances from the beginning of this qualifiers match till the end of it.

It would be unfair putting all the blame on this our current coach because in my own opinion,  if our first two coaches that were sacked did what this coach did, I mean get the numbers of points this coach has gotten since he took over, we wouldn't have been in a sorry state like this.

The last game will determine who qualifies and if by change the Ivory coast and Gabon gets the same points on the group table. The GD will be used to decide the qualifier. The current AFCON (Ivory Coast ) champions are going to the world cup with no doubt. Their performance have been incredible in the qualification stage. If they qualify, I would love to support them no matter what. Not minding if the Super Eagles is going to qualify. However there is still a chance for the Super Eagle and in the final game next week we will see what fate has for these teams

All I can say is that Gabon are going to give it all they got, they really want to make the to their first ever world cup tournament but Cote d'Ivoire is now standing in the way. The last game is going to be decisive and any mistakes would definitely be costly.

Waoo this group is actually competitive because looking at the table ivory coast and Gabon has really stand out. Because only one point is separating the top  two teams even though Ivory Coast looks good to qualify for the world cup I would want Gabon to go to the world cup because ivory Coast has been to the world cup a couple of times and I have not seen any thing spectacular that they did Africa really Needs new legs to represent them in the world cup.

If not for the fact that I don’t trust the Nigerian team as it is to get over themselves and not be over confident at the game, I would have found my way to the God’swill Akpabio stadium to get entertained. I just wouldn’t be able to stand the disappointment should they fail to entertain me after coming all the way and see Nwabali not being able to clear his post or Ekong holding the ball too long to show some defending skills to his indigenous ebibio people. I still want to believe they could win it too but, I don’t trust it.

Seychelles but also Djibouti, South Sudan, Eswatini, Mauritius, Congo, Somalia, Sao Tome and Chad should be placed in another competition along with Gibraltar and other Tier D UEFA Nations League teams to play together for 1 spot for the World Cup to avoid being humiliated by the other teams with a festival of goals and very low quality of games.
It is like putting kids in the kindergarten in the same class with high education students and blame them for not being comparable.

Keep calm, its not over until its over. Football is a game that the unexpected can happen. Dont be shocked to see the game turn out to be on Rwanda's favor.
The only problem Rwanda would have is that they will be playing at South Africa's home. Its always difficult playing against thousands of South African fans.

Rwanda has a vital role if Nigeria wants to qualify. Nigeria has the biggest role to play because they have to win Benin Republic with a margin of 2 to 3 goals ahead. We all know how difficult the final game would be but I believe there will be a positive result.
